I am bored, and lazy, but I want to know how to make video game video's for youtube and shit

 

Cal, I love your Prison Architect videos, and was debating on doing some for Minecraft and Space Engineers, but I don't know how

The stuff I use is just FRAPS , Sony Vegas 12 and my camera phone haha I don't do complicated. It gives me ticks.

I just run FRAPS while I'm playing and leave my phone recording a video looking at the ceiling. Always sync a word with a click though.

When I'm done I put both files into Vegas, connect the sync point and render.

I use FRAPS for audio and video. Audio I just use my headset, works fine. Editing I do with Sony Vegas but if you want fancy effects and shit, use Adobe Premier and After Effects. These are all available from your *favourite online retailer*. 

 

Make sure when you install your video editing software that you follow the instructions and disconnect from the net, or you might get in poo. 

 

When I did vlogs, I used my phone, no issues.
