New smart LEGO looks pretty cool. Wonder what they’ll use it for? Will it be included in the new massive LEGO Lord of the Rings set that I’ve seen theorised everywhere?

Oh, that's amazing! I never buy Lego but I love it, and they manage to constantly reinvent themselves.

From what I’ve seen they’re going to use it mainly in mini figures to make noises and articulate the arms, legs and head.

Is it always with the 4 button lego block that you've seen? It'll be interesting as over time they'll be under pressure to make smaller or unusual shapes for this. The understanding to know what it actually is connecting to, is crazy. Surely you must have to program it that you're putting it into an X-Wing instead of a F1 Car?

That’s the only one at the moment I’ve seen. I presume it’ll have many functions and applications for many different products. Perhaps it links with you phone and you chose what it doesn’t through that? I have no idea to be honest, just seems neat.
