The most memorable one I used to use, mainly because I couldn't get past the Water Zone Act was the Sonic unlock all levels cheat. On the main menu screen I recall it was Up, Down, Left, Right. You should hear a noise like a ring being collected. Then, hold A and press Start for a level select! I also had a funny one on European Club Soccer where you could hit a ball extremely hard by entering the password Three Shredded Wheat. Bloody brilliant cheat as this game was rock hard! What's some that you peeps remember?

This one caught my eye. Basically a spiritual successor to Punch-Out/Super Punch-Out. Fairly cheap too, and I'm surprised it isn't on GP.

I'm looking forward to this one. It's by the developers of The Messenger (I LOVE THAT GAME) so, I can guarantee, it will be a quality experience.

Never thought i'd see the day of being able to play CM3 on a PC these days....but I now can and its glorious! 😎 This was one part of my childhood that I really do miss and the earlier Football Manager games really hit the spot, after the MS-DOS days but before later managing games added far too much detail and dials to tinker with. CM3 was the 98/99 season with 15 leagues you could actually load up at the start and move to other countries if you felt like a job overseas mid-game. Also was the days of the Foreign player restriction rule which meant you could only have 3 players classed as foreign to that league in the team at any one time. I know a few people love these types of games and its probably within reach for some if you have the following elements: A CD version of Championship Manager 3 A CD disc reader (ofc!) A patch (v3.04e) to be downloaded from here Windows 10 I found some great advice from another website that told me to download the patch otherwise you get a compatibility error when it tries to run. Once the patch is downloaded, unzip the file and run the Setup.exe file in there. It will do what it needs to do and remove some quick files which leaves you to finally just right click the shortcut on CM3 and enter the Properties. Once in there, select the Compatibility below for this game and click Apply. Then run the game to sit back and listen to that crowd noise at the start and cheer along with them! A few pics below of the game and installing! Can't beat some nostalgia...and Marcelo Salas on the Home Screen 😄

A friend of mine recommended this one to me and I've been really having a blast with it so far. It has a very retro, Simons Quest vibe to with lots of gore and good/evil choices throughout the game. I'm gonna dig into this more over the weekend but so far, so good.

This has my inner child just beaming! I still have my SNES copy of Turtles in Time!

This one has been out for some time on all platforms. I find it very similar to the classic NES Ninja Gaiden games, including the difficulty, and I've been kind of on and off with it for a bit. It definetly has those frustrating WTF moments but the gameplay is pretty solid and the boss battles are challenging. If you're into this style of game, check it out.

I'm just gonna drop a nice, little, friendly reminder to you all that The Messenger is a great game if you fancy the old school 8/16 bit style graphics and gameplay of Ninja Gaiden. Great music, great gameplay, very witty and enjoyable writing and just a blast to play. I just platinumed this one the other day! It's worth a look, Friends. Available on PC and all platforms.

Hi there! I was unpacking some boxes in my new home and found two N64 consoles, I tried plugging them in and switching them on but it keeps showing a blank screen on my TV. I thought this was to do with my console not having an expansion pack or a HDMI converter so I have ordered an expansion pack and a HDMI converter. I have both a scart plug and AV cables, I've tried blowing on the cartridge and the cartridge holder in the console but nothing works. I asked for advice from Yahoo Answers but people kept trolling me.

As you have seen in my previous thread, I have two N64 consoles and I've decided to give one to my Dad and I was wondering what games he would like for his N64 console I am giving him. He has a PS2 console and a NES console as well, he plays mostly shooter, army/war battle, action/adventure, SCI-FI and martial arts fighting games. This is what I have found so far that I think he will like giving his interests: Fighters Destiny Mortal Kombat 4 007 Golden Eye Perfect Dark Turok Turok 2: Seeds of Evil Doom 64 Duke Nukem 64

Not sure why we've never had one of these sections before. There have been some beautiful games over the years, some we even still play today (well, I do ). Just an idea I had to add any of your old favourites, even hints and tips at some of the great old ones. Separate section to talk about all the legendary consoles, handelds and first build PCs of their era too. I'll start to share some of my thoughts on some great retro ones, so please fill your boots, whatever the CD, cartridge or cassette you played!

http://www.retrogametreasure.com/ So apparently this is a loot crate for Lee. You fill out which consoles you have and every month they send you 3 to 5 games for that console which you keep. They also have classic consoles like NES, Sega etc but I am not sure if this is PAL friendly.
