After Easter (next week), we'll be getting a significantly huge patch with over 400 fixes to the game. Patch Notes apparently out next week but here's the key bits from the Community Manager tweets: Rao and Paik shall have their traits updated Sundance has also received some fixes to their Grenade Belt, allowing for better Anti-Armor Grenade target acquisition within their immediate vicinity rather than things football fields away Ribbons have been tweaked in order to allow easier unlocking across modes such as Rush. XP for Support Actions and Teamplay within the game have also been balanced to ensure teamwork remains king Vehicular Warfare balancing alongside targeted tweaks to the likes of the Bolte, to ensure that Infantry/Vehicle counter play still has some bite! Bug Fixes towards the ADS bug when exiting a vehicle and reviving near obstacles are also in this Update. Attachments shall also receive an overhaul in Update 4.0, with a focus on ensuring they feel unique and have an impact on your loadout choice and gunplay. He signs off saying "While this merely scratches the surface of Update 4.0 in #Battlefield 2042, we do appreciate the patience afforded to us with getting this update out there. Again, truly looking forward to your feedback as the update goes live, next week. Stay safe out there folks 🐧" I mean, I think its worth a stab back on it considering its a game I've barely even touched and had so much potential. Problem will likely be just the population and getting a full game I imagine! What's people thinking? Anyone hoping for something big in the patch they haven't mentioned yet?

1.41 Update is now live for Consoles. PC went live a few weeks ago. Big bits in here is the brand new trial PvE mode and Dual Wielding is live! Full Details below: HIGHLIGHTS Dual Wielding – Double the gun, double the fun. This Update brings the long-awaited Dual Wielding feature, available when using two identical handguns. Trials Mode – You have asked, and we listened! We are happy to introduce the first iteration of our PVE mode – Trials! Explore the maps, complete difficult challenges, and collect Trial Stars for exclusive rewards. New Legendaries – The update brings three shiny new Legendaries as well as two other exclusively unlockable with the Trials Mode! Dual WieldingDual Wielding Handguns is a new and exciting feature in Hunt:Showdown, allowing players to equip and use two handguns at the same time. All available handguns that can be used for dual-wielding: Pair of Nagant M1895 Pair of Nagant M1895 Silencer Pair of Caldwell Conversion Pistol Pair of Caldwell Conversion Chain Pistol Pair of Caldwell Conversion Uppercut Pair of Caldwell Pax Pair of Caldwell Pax Claw Pair of Bornheim No.3 Pair of Bornheim No.3 Extended Pair of Nagant M1895 Officer Pair of Nagant M1895 Officer Brawler Pair of Lemat Mark II Pair of Dolch 96 Equipping Every Handgun can be equipped for dual-wield as a "matched pair". A second handgun of the same type can now be added to the same weapon slot. The slot will convert to medium size when the second pistol is equipped. It is possible to mix normal and Legendary versions of the same type as matched pairs. Dual Wielding is available from Rank 1 and does not require any unlocks via Traits. Equipped weapon pairs can not be broken up while playing; you are committed to use them as pairs until extraction. When looting a dead Hunter, you can pick up their dual-wield sets just like you would any other medium-sized weapons. Shooting Weapons have to be fired in sequence one after the other. The rhythm is dictated by the shooter, allowing players to experiment. Hunters can either go for a steady, constant fire-rate or try faster two-taps with longer breaks in-between shots. Recoil is increased over single-handed handguns, making it harder to stay on target (esp. with more powerful handguns). Effective rate of fire is increased, but still lower than the rapid burst from a single-action revolver using fanning. Aiming Aiming Down Sights (ADS) will only apply a slight zoom, with the guns moving a bit closer to the center of the screen. Weapon Sights are not used at all, reducing range drastically over other weapons. Dual-wielding accuracy only benefits minimally from crouching (just like with Fanning and Levering Traits). Reloading Weapons are reloaded at the same time in sequence, one bullet at a time. Extra ammo pools are added up. New Trait added: Ambidextrous Available for 3 Upgrade points Available at Bloodline Rank 44 "Quicker reloading of matched pairs, and custom clip reloads for semi-auto pistol sets." Developer Note: With this update, we are finally releasing a feature that we had on our roadmap for quite some time! Dual-Wielding aka Akimbo. It's a major upgrade for all handguns, allowing them to be used in a completely new way. So far, players could choose to fire them conventionally - or by unlocking the Fanning trait - as rapid-fire single-action revolvers from the hip. A third option now becomes available by choosing to equip not one, but two into one slot. Where shooting a handgun normally is best for precision, and using fanning or rapid-firing a semi-automatic pistol gives a short burst of impressive firepower up-close, dual-wielding sits somewhere in the middle between them: Not as precise and not as fast, but with double the ammo capacity, perfect for suppressing fire or taking on hordes. Now, why would players want to equip a matched dual pair of handguns? We think there are a number of different appealing scenarios here. Firstly, the option is available from Rank 1 on and doesn't require any traits. You just have to combine it with another medium slot weapon, like a sawn-off shotgun or rifle. This makes a pair of dual-wield Nagant M1895 the strongest rapid-fire option for new players right out of the box. Secondly, it gives players impressive firepower to deal with mobs and to take part in prolonged fire-fights. Having double the extra ammo capacity means you can keep on firing for a longer time while keeping the enemy away from that window or that corner, allowing your team to take the initiative and move around more freely. While accuracy is much reduced, even only hitting the 3rd or 4th shot still hurt, and those lucky headshots are still a very real possibility. Lastly, when assaulting a strongpoint, such as a boss arena, dual-wielded handguns are much more flexible compared to Fanning as they reach out to more than double the average effective combat range, allowing you to fight along corridors or inside larger rooms where Fanning shots would prove less effective. Dual-wielding brings a new component to Hunt's gameplay. Some will love it for its coolness factor, others will find it 'disgusting' as it goes against the long bullet meta of the "perfect shot". We hope that there is something in it for everybody, and that it opens up room for new battle tactics, easier combat against monsters as a backup (those Hellhound's won't be laughing when you bring 12 instead of 6 shots of your favorite revolver), as well as more intense shootouts with medium-sized inventory kits. There are a lot of options to explore and we are eager to hear your opinions on it! Trials Mode (PvE)Trials is a new singleplayer game mode aimed at new Hunters and veterans alike, allowing to explore the world of Hunt:Showdown and complete different types of special assignments. What can I do in Trials? Explore the world freely without any enemies and get a feeling for Lawson Delta and Stillwater Bayou. Move around at will or teleport directly to any compound. Exclusive Rewards: Unlock Legendary Specter 1882 Bayonet "Tartufai" when reaching 20 Trial Stars Unlock Lengedary Nagant M1895 Officer Carbine "The Cordwainer" when reaching 45 Trial Stars ***Developer Note:***It can be hard for new players to learn the lay of the land and all the little secrets of the Bayou with the constant pressure of encountering other players. Trials aim to give them a chance to practice before venturing on into the Bayou and competing with other Hunters. Without this pressure, players can now spend more time preparing for real encounters, making it easier to move on to Bounty Hunt when they feel ready, equipped with map knowledge, basic combat skills and a good understanding of the horrors that await them. In addition, veterans can hone their skills and show that they really mastered the game with a perfect score of earned Stars and access to the exclusive Legendary weapons to brag with. With Trials, we are finally adding a PvE component to the game that has been missing for a long time. It's a new pillar of Hunt:Showdown that can attract new players, who are less focused on fighting others, but rather enjoy the game and its setting in different ways offline. We plan on expanding the Trials experience with future updates, adding more challenges and additional exclusive rewards for players to unlock. The first batch of Trials have been around Stillwater Bayou. The next batch will be focused on the second map, Lawson Delta. Recent update - New Map is called Havana. Havana, a vibrant, historic port city where the winds of change blow strong, is home to Overwatch’s newest Escort map! Begin your trip at the Taller de Sebastián, where the classic cars that line Havana’s bustling streets stop for refueling and repair. Escort a truck of rum barrels on the sun-drenched cobblestone roads, fighting off those who try to stop you. As you make your way, duck into a colorful building to escape enemy fire and savor the impressive flavors of Havana at La Cocina de Miranda or Café del Sol. Battle your opponents through the alleys until you reach the Don Rumbotico rum distillery, a once little-known local treasure that has recently earned international acclaim. Finally, guide the jalopy through the distillery to its destination at the Havana Sea Fort, a historical landmark recently purchased by an anonymous financial group and closed to the public. All-Star Skins To celebrate the Overwatch League 2019 All-Stars, we’re adding two new Legendary skins— 2019 Atlantic All-Star Mercy and 2019 Pacific All-Star Lúcio! A small patch landed yesterday just before we started playing to drop the new Paris map for everyone. We played it a few times and it seemed a decent Assault map, with the first point harder to take against a well co-ordinated team holding the choke point just ahead of the point. One of the better map additions on first play through me thinks. Not sure what you guys thought@LordBaguette @crispymorgan @Greboth?

To be deployed on March 15th. Glaz gets a significant buff to scopes and Doc has his overheal increased 20 HP to 140. Full patch notes below: GAME DESIGN NOTES : The biggest change to Glaz’s Flip Sight is the addition of a thermal visual feedback when ADS’ing through the scope. This will make defenders really pop when they come into view. It should be noted that this will not work through walls; the visual feedback will only appear when your opponent comes into view. However, the scope will outline your opponents even through smoke grenades, Capitão’s micro smoke grenades, and Smoke’s gas canisters. This should make things more interesting for Glaz in close quarters. The Elite A new instalment of Elite Skins will be deployed with the Velvet Shell Mid-Season Reinforcements. Embody the French Resistance with Twitch’s Maquis set, which introduces a new design for her offensive drones. Each set features a matching Uniform and Headgear, Operator Card, Operator Title, Charm, and a Signature Victory Animation. Explore unique facets of history with these special packages tailored exclusively for Twitch. DOC OVERHEALS TO 140. The overheal effect to Doc’s unique gadget was introduced in the first Mid-Season Reinforcement in Skull Rain. We felt as though we needed to revisit this mechanic and decided to increase the overheal from 120 to 140. We did this change for two main reasons. First, we felt like 120 HP was not enough to truly make a difference in a firefight. Moreover, it decreased too fast to actually have +20 HP on an engagement be significant, so most of the time you would have a little amount left. We are now making it worth the effort to overheal a teammate. BUCK GETS AN EXTRA MAGAZINE FOR HIS SKELETON KEY. We’ve added in an extra magazine to Buck’s Skeleton Key gadget. We felt like Buck ran out of ammo quite fast sometimes and wanted to give players more freedom with breaching or line-of-fire openings. WEAPONS BALANCING RED DOT, REFLEX SIGHT, AND HOLO SIGHT RETICLE SIZES ARE GETTING SMALLER. Due to the realignment of sights in the Velvet Shell update that brought many of the sights closer, we saw immediate feedback from the community that the reticles of many sights were back to being too large. We have corrected this and the reticle sizes will now be less obstructive when ADS’ing to allow for better precision and vision. DMR’S TRIGGER RATE HAS BEEN ADAPTED TO PREVENT RAPID FIRING. The DMRs’ maximum “trigger” rate has been lowered to prevent very rapid firing. This change was made because the maximum trigger rate was too high. Some people were able to click so fast on their mouse that it turned the DMR into a fully automatic AR. We felt like this was too strong. ECHO’S MP5SD2 DOES MORE DAMAGE AT MEDIUM RANGE. We have buffed the MP5SD2’s damage at medium range. We felt like the weapon’s damage was subpar because of its integrated silencer. Before the patch, the gun dealt 25 damage from 0 to 10 meters, then fell to its lowest damage at 14. It now has 29 damage from 0 to 15 meters then falls off to 14 damage at 20 meters. THERMITE’S 556XI’S IS EASIER TO CONTROL. The 556xi’s recoil has been tweaked to make it easier to control. The weapon’s personality has not been changed, but you should have an easier time at being more precise with it. CAVEIRA’S LUISON’S DAMAGE DROPOFF HAS BEEN TWEAKED. Caveira’s Luison damage has been buffed at medium range encounters. Pre-Patch, the damage went from 70 damage at 7 meters down to 20 damage at 18 meters. Now it goes from 70 damage at 7 meters to 35 damage at 18 meters. It then falls of to 20 damage at 24 meters. We felt like Caveira’s signature weapon damage dropoff was too sharp and made it hard for players to understand what range is lethal and which isn’t. It is now as good, or better, at all ranges than the standard PRB92. JACKAL’S C7E’S RECOIL IS GETTING BALANCED. We have increased the recoil of the C7E. We felt like it was way too accurate and had no downsides. It is now harder to control for prolonged full automatic fire. CAPITAO’S PARA-308 IS GETTING A RECOIL BUFF. We have buffed the PARA-308’s recoil. A lot of the Pro League players expressed how hard to control this weapon is and we felt they were absolutely right. It should be easier to control over fully automatic fire and should sway a little less to the sides. OTHER IMPROVEMENTS ZERO RANKED MMR EXPLOIT Last week we implemented several fixes to resolve the occurrence of an exploit that would result in the winning team receiving zero ranked MMR points. On top of resolving the actual issue, we have also reinstituted an abandon penalty for exiting a ranked game during the final kill cam. We will be continuing to monitor this issue closely and we welcome your to share any feedback or issues on our forums and subreddit. GAMEPLAY FIXES FIXED – There is an exploit that results in Ranked games awarding 0-5 MMR after a win. FIXED – Hit registration and kill cam show a headshot without the proper bonus point with a neck shot. FIXED – The player cannot detonate a Nitro Cell if they are put in a DBNO state while holding it and then revived. FIXED – Weapons will become invisible when the revive animation of a player or hostage is interrupted. FIXED – The feedback for cooking a Frag Grenade is not replicated in support mode. FIXED – The camera clips through an Operator when they go down stairs while in prone. FIXED – The compass does not move, or shows the wrong direction, while the player is rappelling. FIXED – Crouching under a deployable shield while it is being placed will allow the character to sometimes clip through it. FIXED – The smoke grenade effect passes through floors. GAME MODE FIXES RANKED FIXED – In some cases, playing placement ranked matches do not count towards total placement matched needed to obtain a rank. TERRORIST HUNT FIXED – Jackal will sometimes not activate a Nitro Cell when walking near it. FIXED – Extraction animation played at a specific point causes AI to remain stuck running in place. OPERATOR FIXES SHIELD OPERATORS FIXED – Shields are not protecting Operators from explosive damage. BLITZ FIXED – Blitz has spent additional time at the range, thus reducing the draw time on his weapon after triggering his Shield Flash. There is no longer a 2 seconds delay before Blitz can fire his weapon. FROST FIXED – Frost is unable to place her traps near a window. ECHO FIXED – When hit by a Yokai sonic burst, the camera mode can't be used for the duration of the disorientation effect. FIXED – The Yokai drone resets its initial camera direction every time Echo accesses it. FIXED – The Yokai drone will sometimes experience the wrong collision detection when it is sticking to the ceiling and will result in a "losing signal" error. MIRA FIXED – Breaking reinforcement panels placed around indestructible pillar will leave gaps between the wall and reinforcement. FIXED – The One Way Mirror plant event is triggered twice, making the sound too loud. FIXED – Sometimes Mira cannot place Reinforcements next to the One Way Mirror. FIXED – The frame of the One Way Mirror switches to the place where the second Mirror is being deployed for a player who has joined in progress. FIXED – Breach Charges and Exothermic Charges are not destroyed if a One Way Mirror is placed on the opposite side of the same wall. SLEDGE FIXED – Sledge's model is corrupt during gameplay when viewed by other players. MONTAGNE FIXED – It is possible to shoot Montagne's pistol with his shield extended while doing a specific action. LEVEL DESIGN FIXES BARTLETT UNIVERSITY FIXED – Destruction on the ceiling of the Piano Room above the fire place can only be seen from one direction. FIXED – Players can clip through the 1F Dining Room outside door and can be killed by enemies. FIXED – A player will get stuck in a wall when entering from rappel in 1F Dining Room. CLUBHOUSE FIXED – Defenders are able to clip into the outside shed by vaulting over a deployable shield. BANK FIXED – Objects on shelves disappear and deform upon LOD drop. USER EXPERIENCE FIXES FIXED – The Square button on PS4 loses functionality on the highlighted items on the Shop tab if the user tries to buy with square button and returns. FIXED – The screen remains in continuous loading when accessing the Ubisoft Club Challenges in-game and in the Uplay client. FIXED – Full screen mode on a customization item can only be accessed once per item. FIXED – Certain charms contain placeholder icons. FIXED – Some Operators have lower resolution texture in their headgear pictures and in the character model preview mode. (This is an ongoing process, and additional Operators will be touched on in future updates.)

Here's the details of the patch. It's already available for PC with console updates to follow ASAP. I've omitted the PC specific fixes - once the patch comes out for console we can add the extra detail in here. For Honor v1.03 patch notes – General Feats Shugoki Fixed a bug that caused players to lose the “Hard to Kill “ Feat upon death. Orochi & Berserker Addressed bugs with their area of effect (AOE) ground Feats not working if the player stopped moving The Orochi’s Nail Bomb & the Berserkers Stun Trap Feats now apply their damage effects correctly to characters who trigger the trap, but stop moving towards the trap, as it was intended. Valkyrie The Valkyrie Bloodlust Feat is now triggered on all types of kills as it was intended. Berserker, Warlord, & Valkyrie Tweaked the “Rush” Feat animation transition bug from idle to sprint animations Fight All Fighters We reverted the Guardbreak mechanics to the Beta behavior in order to have it be a more usable skill. Guardbreak is no longer un-counterable if you’re Guardbroken during Guardbreak startup. Attacks that cannot be blocked because they are too fast no longer display the Unblockable Attack feedback. Fixed camera clipping issues with walls on executions Peacekeeper Some tweaking was made on the Peacekeeper during the Beta, which caused some bugs and unintended changes. We are changing some of her moves to behave as designed. Fixed the Peacekeeper Guardbreak and Bleed stacking bug Stab 1 applies 2 dmg + 15 Bleed dmg over 10 sec Stab 2 applies 2 dmg + 12 Bleed dmg over 8 sec Stab 3 applies 2 dmg + 9 Bleed dmg over 6 sec Bleed damage now stacks up for a total of 36 dmg, in the Beta this total was higher (45dmg) but has been reduced for balancing along with the accompanied bug fix Increased the range of the Peacekeeper Stab Attack to fix issues with missed stabs and therefore not applying Bleed Stab range increased from 1 m to 2 m Changed the range distance of the Peacekeeper Light Attack. She can now connect a Light Attack after a parry. Normal Light Attacks had their range increased by 0.25 m; from 2.75 m to 3 m Berserker & Conqueror Light Attack recoveries decreased to prevent free Guardbreak on Block. This was never the intended behavior. Berserker’s Light Attacks and chained Light Attacks recoveries on Block reduced from 900 ms to 700 ms Conqueror’s Light Attacks and chained Light Attacks recoveries on Block reduced from 900 ms to 700 ms Valkyrie Overall Valkyrie gameplay update/buff. We found that the changes we made during our latest Technical Test were impacting too much the dueling abilities of the Valkyrie. She has gone from the 1st place in Win/Loss in Duel to the last spot. We’ve made some of her moves a little faster and we’ve added some mix-ups. Pouncing Thrust & Hunter’s Strike damage increased from 12 dmg to 17 dmg Pouncing Thrust & Hunter’s Strike can link into Light Chain faster: from 400 ms – 900 ms to 200 ms – 500 ms Light Attacks recoveries reduced by 100 ms Light Attack Miss Recovery 900 ms to 800 ms Light Attack Hit Recovery 700 ms to 600 ms Light Attack Interrupt Block Recovery 800 ms to 700 ms Light Attack Regular Block Recovery 700 ms to 600 ms Light Chain second Attack Startup reduced by 100 ms, recoveries reduced by 100ms Light Chain second Attack Startup 600 ms to 500 ms Light Chain second Attack Miss Recovery 800 ms to 700 ms Light Chain second Attack Hit Recovery 600 to 500 ms Light Chain second Attack Interrupt Block Recovery 700 ms to 600 ms Light Chain second Attack Regular Block Recovery 600 ms to 500 ms Shield Crush can now be chained into Light Chain After 400 ms into Hit Recovery After 500 ms into Miss Recovery Hunter’s Rush Recoveries shortened by 200 ms Miss recovery 1000 ms to 800 ms Hit recovery 800 ms to 600 ms Interrupt Block recovery 900 ms to 700 ms Regular Block recovery 800 ms to 600 ms Orochi Increased the dodge back on the Orochi’s “Riptide Strike” Increased the backward displacement from 1.75 m to 2 m Game mode Duel, Brawl, Elimination Bots joining an in-progress match will be dead for the current round. Patch 1.05 brings a bunch of anticipated bits and pieces to the release, including an increased level cap (up from 99 to 120), and 60 frames per second support for PS4 Pro users. The update also adds new limited-time hunts to the game, the ability to save more of Prompto's photos (up from 150 to 200), and access to the portable music player while riding a chocobo. Hopefully the aforementioned hunts will breathe some new life into the release, since Square Enix seems so eager to treat the title like a constantly evolving project. The patch weighs in at 2.1GB on Sony's system.

Given how teams are adapting to the resurgence of standard lanes, Riot has shared the love with some old favourites (Miss Fortune, Lux) while reigning in some of the notorious powerhouses (Vladimir, Gnar) in order to give the competitive scene some room for experimentation. The Worlds meta usually forms over the course of the tournament itself, but patch 6.18 aims to give team’s greater diversity with their picks. So what major changes in patch 6.18 will greatly affect the upcoming tournaments. Gnar: the Missing Link Riot has hit Gnar hard with the nerf gun and is surprising considering his win rate isn’t that high (47.29%). However, his ability to prey on tanks and shut down most forms of aggression has made him a prime target. The cooldown on his Hop has been increased and remains unchanged at rank five, while his passive damage has been lowered by five at every single rank. Lastly, the changes to Frozen Mallet have indirectly affected both Gnar and Yasuo who greatly benefited from damage spike and tankiness they received. Frozen Mallet made both champs very hard to kill and escape from, especially with Gnar’s proc from Hop/Crunch. Frozen Mallet is still a worthy investment, but the combination of nerfs will likely affect his popularity in the upcoming tournament. Ashe: the Frost Archer The high levels of communication we see in the competitive scene allow athletes to provide the peel and co-ordination the Frost Archer needs to thrive. Her Enchanted Crystal Arrow provides so many opportunities to catch and lock down opponents, while her team can easily follow up and kill those frozen in place, making her a highly contested pick. The cooldown on Volley has been increased at lower ranks and just by one at level five. This nerf is clearly tailored to her laning phase as her harass with Volley in a poor matchup can be too strong. The nerf to Volley makes it a bit harder for Ashe to get through her laning phase which is understandable considering she scales well late game. It’s certainly not the biggest nerf in the world, but it does tone her damage down enough so that other champs have a fighting chance. Ekko: the Boy Who Shattered Time While Ekko’s ‘pure defense’ shenanigans are no longer as strong as they were earlier this season, the Boy Who Shattered Time is just as effective when it comes to sticking to his targets. His base attack damage has been lowered to 55 from 59, but his combination of Trinity Force and tank items still remain strong. This small nerf won’t affect Ekko’s overall success in top lane and we will more than likely see the boy wonder being picked at Worlds. Taliyah: the Stoneweaver Taliyah’s ability to impact other lanes has made her a contested pick in competitive play as her ability to roam, push lanes and exert map pressure is unmatched. To counter this, Taliyah’s Threaded Volley no longer deals 50% extra damage to minions which will slow down the speed of her clear and force her to use more of her abilities to push lanes. Unravelled Earth’s damage has been lowered by ten at rank one and up to thirty by rank five. This will make her mid game power slightly weaker and will stop her from simply going to other lanes and just killing any target that happens to get caught. Taliyah’s roaming will now require more setup which will give her opponents more opportunities to force her to stay in lane. These nerfs are fairly big and will hopefully lead to more champion diversity at worlds as opposed to every single pick revolving around the countering Stoneweaver. Rek'Sai: the Void Burrower Another popular pick is receiving some much needed tweaks and this time it’s to the Void Burrower. Rek'Sai’s is a favourite pick in both solo queue and competitive play, largely due to her strong ganking potential, great initiation and brilliant map presence. Riot has reduced her base armour and armour growth stat so that her jungle clear is not as healthy, providing a greater deal of risk when it comes to ganking. Shen: Eye of Twilight The Eye of the Twilight has always been the strong, silent type and his strengths usually go unnoticed. Shen’s laning phase is very potent thanks to the damage scaling with Twilight Assault, while his shielding negates all damage from enemy auto attacks. The Kinkou Leader can also help his teammates with his Stand United ability, which gives him insane amounts of global map pressure that can be hard to play against. Put these abilities into a competitive environment and you have a recipe for a ridiculously strong champion that can support his entire team. Shen’s passive has been lowered and the damage on Twilight Assault has been reduced in order to stop him from dealing heaps of damage in the late game when he’s extremely tanky. Yasuo: the Unforgiven Yasuo has been tearing up the Rift since the last patch and has greatly benefited from a bug fix to his ultimate. However, the wandering samurai has become infamous among players due to his combination of mobility and tank items. This allowed the Unforgiven to maintain his high damage output while granting him the added durability he normally lacks. The combination of Trinity Force, Frozen Mallet and Infinity Edge made him an absolute pain to deal with in top lane. Riot have now decreased Yasuo’s attack speed per level, while Last Breath’s bonus armour penetration only applies to his critical strikes. These nerfs are aimed at decreasing his overall damage output and allow him to focus on a few strengths instead of all of them. Vladimir: the Crimson Reaper Vladimir has plagued the LCS and competitive scene for a while now and it seems even Riot is sick of seeing him constantly dominate other champions. His base health has been reduced by 25 and the cooldown on his Tides of Blood has been increased by four seconds at rank one and drops down to five seconds once again at rank five. The health cost has also changed to eight per cent at all ranks as opposed to ten per cent. This means that Vladimir’s laning phase will be weaker as the Crimson Reaper will have a tougher time sustaining and dealing heaps of damage, but if he manages to survive laning phase and enter late game he will greatly benefit from the lowered health cost. This will make Vladimir the late game champion he was always meant to be and will offer more counter picks and opportunities to shut him down. Miss Fortune: the Bounty Hunter Miss Fortune’s passive no longer does half damage to turrets, instead it does full damage which is a pretty big buff when you consider how important it is to secure the first blood tower bonus. Bot lane is the only tower that lacks fortification so this buff will allow Miss Fortune to deal a greater amount of damage to the towers whenever she procs her passive. She already does a great job of bullying her opponents in lane and melts teamfights with Bullet Time. Whether this buff will make Miss Fortune a popular pick at Worlds is hard to tell, but it could spark the return of the bloody-haired bounty hunter.

"Hey Summoners, Welcome to patch 4.12! With only a few patches between now and the League of Legends World Championships, our focus is on the competitive scene and the things we can do to ensure the landscape is diverse and healthy. Part of how we're accomplishing this goal is to look at champions who are skewing champion select in one way or another while also looking to healthy "almost there" champions, like Alistar or Ahri. For either side (strong or weak champions), our main philosophy is to look for strengths to highlight while also emphasizing weaknesses. This ensures a champ can hold onto their strategic value while still having meaningful tradeoffs. You'll also hear me repeat this many times. Too bad. For you Twisted Treeline fans, we've got two item overhauls with Grez's Spectral Lantern and The Lightbringer (they're now two separate item lines with different functionality), so be sure to read up before hopping into your 3s game. Final thing: we'll also be shipping jungle timers with patch 4.12! Read just below for a rundown on those but, as part of our focus on gameplay clarity, we want to ensure that the right skills are being rewarded in League of Legends. In the case of jungle timers, we want to focus on the meaningful choices you make with the information you've earned, rather than the quick arithmetic you can do with the clock. Also be sure to read our dev blog on Clarity for more philosophy! And that's it for now! Read up on the changes below, and we'll see you next patch!" You can read the details here.

UPCOMING VEHICLE TWEAKS Aircraft and Anti-Aircraft 1) Reduced the total amount of missiles carried by the Mobile Anti-Aircraft vehicles from 6 to 4. The total carried missiles were making it impossible for helicopters to use counter measures to avoid the MAA’s attacks. 2) Reduced the velocity of the MAA’s default 20MM CANNON from 1200m/s to 800m/s to match the 30MM CANNON. This reduction reduces the distance projectiles will travel and should prevent situations where the MAA could engage enemy vehicles without leaving its protected home base. The damage of the cannons remains unchanged, and aircraft, especially helicopters, should remain wary of getting too close to a MAA. 3) Reduced the physical impact of all Anti-Aircraft missiles to prevent helicopters from flipping uncontrollably when hit. The damage values have not been changed. 4) Reduced the cone in which ACTIVE RADAR missiles search for targets, making them require a higher level of skill in predicting where a target will be when the missile is fired. The missiles were previously too easy to aim at long range, making them a guaranteed hit and a clear advantage over the other missile types. 5) Increased the direct damage done by the Attack Helicopter’s gunner cannon. The gunner will be better able to assist the pilot in taking down vehicle targets with this change. 6) Increased the direct hit damage of the Zuni Rockets for Attack Helicopters. The rate of fire of these rockets combined with their smaller magazine pool made them a poor choice over the other two rocket types. 7) Reduced the splash damage and maximum splash damage range of the Scout Helicopter 25MM CANNONS. These weapons were too effective against infantry with a higher splash, making them a clear choice over the 7.62 MINIGUNS in all combat situations. The 25MM CANNONS are intended to give the Scout Helicopter some measure of effectiveness against vehicles, at a clear trade off in effectiveness vs. infantry. Tanks and Anti-Tank 1) Reduced the “intelligence” of the MBT LAW missiles, requiring the player to aim the missile closer to their target before the smart projectile will activate. Additionally, the MBT LAW now reloads slightly slower. This keeps the MBT LAW in its role of an easy to use, fire and forget weapon available to all Engineers, while also balancing it with the other rocket launchers in favor of skilled AT shots. Finally, a bug where the MBT LAW would pass through an ACTIVE PROTECTION shield has been fixed. 2) Fixed an issue where ACTIVE PROTECTION and the MP-APS did not properly stop 12G FRAG rounds. 3) Reduced the range where the M2 SLAM will do maximum damage to vehicles from 6M to 3M. Players will now need to be craftier when placing the M2 SLAM in order to get the full damage potential of this ambush anti vehicle weapon. This change is to primarily counter a tactic of placing 3 mines in the same spot to guarantee a kill on any vehicle passing within 6m. The range was deemed to be too large, making the M2 SLAM far superior to the M15 AT MINE. 4) Reduced the damage the STAFF shell does to all targets by 25%. This should balance the ease of use of the STAFF shell with its damage potential. Source:http://blogs.battlefield.com/2014/01/bf4-balancing-vehicles/
