I said i'd never do a Wolf Run or Mud Run ever again....but with the thoughts of wanting to do something for Charity here at FG, I don't think there's anything better than doing a huge Wolf Run with all people here at FG raising money for a Charity we voted for some time ago. I'm hating the though of it whilst I write it but, hey, this is FG, and we need to keep giving something back as thats what we do best. Event Wolf Run - Warwickshire (link below) The Wolf Run - Wild Running - Mud Run - Trail Run - Obstacle Run - 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open countryside, woodland, lakes & thick mud THEWOLFRUN.COM The Wolf Run is not your average mud run, trail run or obstacle run - it’s all three and then some! The only Wild Run in the UK, it’s a hardcore 10k run across raw natural terrain, including open ground, woodland, lakes... Dates 23rd or 24th April 2022 We can select the most available date for all Eligibility I'm thinking for this one, we could actually ask partners if they wanted to come along and run with FG for the big day if they can raise funds too! On the 24th, even kids can run on a smaller course if they are 7-17 so lets see what interest we have! Cost £60 per adult We can enter a Team Entry - "Wolf Runners who want to run as a pack with their friends and family and for every pack of 5 runners, we give you the fifth place free! ** Please note that you must sign up all 5 runners at the same time to get the fifth place free. Not applicable to Junior events.**" Charity We agreed a few years back that we wanted to raise money for MIND - A Mental Health Charity. I think it would be amazing if we raise at least £20 each whoever wants to particiate so we can pass over a large cheque for them! Rewards A Wolf Run Medal A Wolf Run t-shirt A bespoke FG personalised running shirt/vest to be used on the day so we can all be recognised raising money for Charity in FG's honour! Roll Call! Now we have a chosen charity to support I want to keep momentum going. So we need ideas that you think would work, even if its an idea that raises just a few pounds. The more we have the better chance we all have to get involved. On that note, it would be good to know if you also want to be involved in any of the ideas. If it is anything physical I would absolutely look to get something sorted so you have some form of attire to wear and providing I have the conversations at MIND, i will then work out what i'm allowed to do with their logo, etc. So, drop anything you've got below or/and your involvements!

Let's get the Giving Something Back moving this year that I eluded to in the recent Article posted. We need a Charity to affiliate to, like we asked about in June 2018 but never continued the momentum. Once we have them, we can engage with them and also start looking at doing some small Charity work to support the chosen Charity. I don't want to set a target figure as of yet, let's take this a stage at a time. So if you could be so kind to vote for one or the few that you would be happy to support, after a week we'll close the poll and which ever has won we will name them as our affiliated Charity for at least the next 12 months. I've wanted to do this for a long time so whilst we're doing some and changes it seems right to do it now. I want to have a dedicated charity partner, possibly a yearly thing that we can do some charity activity to link it to. I'd like suggestions on the idea and who you think we should start with. We'll then put a vote out. This doesn't mean we have a target or can't raise money for other charities either. It just gives some focus to doing some charity fun. Please get some ideas kicking below.
