This little beauty dropped last week, and if you're a wrestling fan, you really need to check it out! There are many wrestler cameos from the 80s, 90s, and 2000s. The gameplay is a classic RPG style closer to that of super Mario RPG from the SNES. As you attack, you can time button presses to do more damage or negate it on the defensive side. It's been great so far, holding me over until Sea of Stars drops. Only $30 too. It's on everything.

I'm looking forward to this one. It's by the developers of The Messenger (I LOVE THAT GAME) so, I can guarantee, it will be a quality experience.

Some gameplay below of the new RPG in an open world called Biomutant. It does look different I have to say but quite endearing actually. Out in 2018 on Xbox, PlayStation and PC. They say you combine mutant powers, bionics and weapons which when you look at the video you could actually see this working well. Game trailer below

This one has just released on July 22nd for the Switch and it's giving me some old school, classic SNES ROG vibes. This is a remake/rerelease of a title that never made it's debut over here. If anyone grabs it, please let us know what you think about the game. I'm very curious about it.

This looks pretty fucking sweet. It's being called the spiritual successor to Demon Souls. Playstation exclusive. Btw. Tell me this isn't cool looking. Love the art and style they are showing off in the trailer. Edited title to indicate spoilers in thread.

I just recently picked this up on the Switch. I’ve never been one for rouge like games but this is really fun. Gameplay is top down isometric similar to hyper light drifter. Looks similar as well. You play as one of many members of a family defending the planet against an ancient corruption afflicting the lands. Each family member unlocks separately at junctures of the game. The one thing I really enjoy is failing a mission will not cost you any coin earned and any items you collect during a mission are retained even in death. There’s been a few times so far where I’ve died and the story has progressed despite it. Coin is used to upgrade the family and stacks throughout all members. Also, as you unlock abilities with each family member, a special ability is unlocked and shared amongst them all It’s been really fun so far. If you’re a fan of old school 2d style games and rouge likes, definitely check this out.

Its been talked about for a while and I couldn't find a previous thread, which was weird so created a new one. Beta information out, related to pre-order but also an open beta will be available in August which is good to see. Playstation gets it a week earlier so a bonus to most people here too. Be interesting to see how it all pans out and maybe be an actual decent game even though I think most people are concerned if it can match its price tag. Avenger's Gameplay Reveal Event one month ago showing off some game modes and Avenger's gameplay action: Now I know there's an open beta it has to be worth a go on for that - its one deep inside me i'd love it to do well but I can't see me paying £50 to pre-order it unless the beta blows me away. Whats everyone feeling so far?

Trailer for Elite Dangerous, it should be on PS4 and Xbone now. On PC it is crazy difficult

So this game franchise was mainly Space Sims, but they also have come out with a strategy game. I picked up #2 in the series and it is decent so far. Here is the trailer

Playlist of the EVE trailers, cause this game is honestly amazing, but so addictive

Code Vein is set for release on “major home consoles” in 2018. You play as a Revenant in a post-apocalyptic world where only one stronghold remains. Revenants fight to survive with the help of Gifts in exchange for their memories. Vein is the same of a secret society you stumble upon, one of whom will accompany you on the search for answers. These Revenants get access to something called Blood Veils, which the press release describes as devices cable of draining blood from enemies. This blood is then used to enhance your abilities. As for Gifts, these sound like the monster forms from the God Eater series, items that transform you into a more powerful being.

Taken from PC Gamer. Looks an interesting game... ------------------------------------------ New trailer showcases 'body part targeting' melee. Surge Gameplay When Dan Griliopoulos got to grips with an early build of Deck13’s action role-player The Surge earlier this year, he said: “Given it’s a sci-fi game from the developers of Lords of the Fallen, it’s not surprising that the ethos is entirely Dark Souls meets System Shock.” The latest pre-alpha trailer appears to further this outline by showcasing some distinctly Souls-like melee fisticuffs. “Melee combat in The Surge is stamina-based,” explains Adam Hetaney, Deck13’s head of game design, in the following demo. “That means that while you’re in combat you’re gonna need to manage your stamina resource or you might find yourself unable to complete a combo that you want to finish or unable to dodge away from a counter attack—it’s just something you need to pay attention to while you fight.” A stamina-focused approach to close-quarters combat might echo that of the Souls series, however The Surge deviates from its example by way of “body part targeting”. Hetaney continues: “In The Surge, attacks are not light or heavy attacks, but rather horizontal and vertical attacks. That’s because the swing direction of your attacks actually matters. “You can target specific body parts so directing attacks towards unarmoured or vulnerable areas deals increased damage, it’s more likely to stagger your opponent. It really pays to observe your enemies, pick out their weak points when you’re going in for the kill. While the latter half of the demo explores The Surge’s crafting options, how body targeting is tied to looting and pulling blueprints from dropped enemy equipment sounds interesting. The Surge is due sometime in 2017.

Figured I'd drop some info in here about Dark Souls 2. As a few of you know, I've been working on trying to complete the first one. I had to take a bit of a break from it to play GTA 5 but hope to start playing it again soon. I wanted to get some videos and info out about it, in hopes that more of you may give it a go. DARK SOULS 2 Is a action/rpg with a strong emphasis on combat. Every enemy you face is deadly, every move you make in combat has to be calculating. Make no mistake you will die in this game, there is no easy mode. You feel a sense of accomplishment with every battle you win, and learn something from every battle you lose. The Soul series is known for not holding your hand, its open world in a way. You can go where ever you please, but if you are not powerful enough you will get your ass handed to you. You have to read item descriptions and talk to npc's to figure out where to go and what to do. There is no path marker, you forge your own path. Dark Souls 2 is do out March 11th,2014 Trailer Gameplay Trailer Info and Q/A Video
