@fg_cal told us that Playstation were doing their end of year Wrap Up which let's you see what you've played over the year, how many hours, days, etc. It's actually a quick fun thing to do AND you get some free PSN download rewards with it like emblems and a wallpaper. I was thinking we share what we got, and maybe I can find a way to total up what FG have done and played over 2019? A little fun doesnt hurt, does it? Dont answer that @Nutcuttlit 😉 Link is below. Thought it would be nice to pop up a thread to see what you've all got this year! I'm sure they'll be someone that I absolute envy for getting the best present ever. I'll visit back and pop mine up too 😄

This year's OW Winter Event is from December 10th to January 2nd. 3 separate week's worth of skins and sprays to get again. This time round it seems to have a slight variation of the snowball fight mode from last few years. Snowball Deathmatch will be a separate gamemode to choose in the Arcade mode. Also, noticed that Mei catches a snowball thrown at her - I'm not sure if that's just her ability or a common one for everyone which should be what's happening. I must admit although it's not really different to the last few years, I've always found the snowball fights to be some really good lolz with everyone. Could even be a great FG party night between us all the OSK (One Snowball Kill) about.

Its that time again everybody. The time where we do our best to raise as much as we can so we can give out some awesome goodies to the people of FG. I actually think we won't raise as much this year, as I know everyone has been far too kind and generous with other things we've done so there won't be any pressure to give, like always. Obviously, it may be a smaller pool of items we can do but as I've kept up with most people's lives this year I don't think that's a bad thing sometimes. I'd like to do something slightly different this year which is we will gift out games such as CoD MW, Destiny 2 Shadowkeep, Sea of Thieves and many other things to people we can see that would benefit. Alongside that if we actually get enough, we'll do a few vouchers too that will be raffled out so you can buy whatever you like if you get lucky. I'm going to put this out there for a few weeks and hopefully by the first week in December we can start working out what things we're able to give you lovely people. "If you are there always for others, then in time of need, someone will be there for you." I think this is pretty fitting for Forever Gaming. That's really down to all the wonderful people here. I can go on and on about how this year for me personally has been a hard start but I imagine, and in a lot of cases I know, that a lot of people's lives inside and outside of FG are in a far more difficult spot. You all deserve a place that's always here when you need it. You need people, not just me, that are willing to listen, care about your opinion and are here to make your lives worthwhile. We've been relatively quiet in 2019 so let's make a little noise for all those people that need a little fun and support. We've made a planner for the next few months. I hope you can see there's different bits and bobs on there for everyone. Its a start. Let's build on it together. They'll be more than just this I'm sure. One feature I wanted to just pick out is FGer Game Choice. We all love different games but we can't play them all the time. However, as we organise most nights for us to party up, its only right that we should ask treasured FGers what they think we should play for a night of fun together. This should be for new and old FGers and the only way this will work though is if we support each other and play for those few hours. It may not be much sometimes but for others it means far more than you'll ever know. I want to see more people here and in other pockets of FG. You all sometimes forget and don't even realise that y'all being around together with the tiniest nod to say 'hi' or 'nice work' is huge. I won't go on any further. Look at the pic. They'll be corresponding events, quizzes, threads, tourneys posted up in good time all over FG. Get involved. If not for yourself, but for others. GGFG

Morning FG! January's been one of those months for me but also a lot of people here. I apologise in advance for not being around enough to positively kick you all up the arse to have fun and be merry. I'm hoping a new month ahead and the seeing the games coming out over recent months will give us some fresh playtime fun to get some groups together. I learnt alot about last year, we had a lot of grouping together, did far more activities and game nights across multiple games...actually more than the days we started playing Destiny 1 without it feeling like it! That doesn't mean it didn't take a ton of effort though to sort. Physically and mentally. We hit over 100k posts at FG and I also learned at the end of year our average age of FG is 33. Probably not surprising to regulars but it also shows why we're active at some parts of the year and not in others. The post count states though show we have something we should keep going for the sake of everyone's home from home. We got a bit of feedback from some of you - thank you massively for doing that survey I created. Overall rating out of 10 was 8.29. That surprised me. Can't deny theres a few low scores in that average and that backs up my sentiment that I always think we can make FG far better than it is so it's a place to look forward to stopping by. Things that people have asked want more of: • More threads on various topics • More FG videos • The attitude we all have to one another to help • More events • More PC Gaming • Quizzes Things that people have asked to look into as they need more work, in no particular order: • Calendar and also how to make events more accessible • Grouping up online • More diversity across gamers and countries • More interaction on posts • Consolidate dead spaces on forum • Integration with all parts of FG • More social presence • Images • Streaming • The battle between WhatsApp and use of any FG elements • More people • More regular people • Grab back existing groups of members I'm going to start looking at getting an FG Roadmap installed so you can all see what we're hoping to do in the future and how close we are getting it. We'll also have a suggestion tracker so you can continue to add ideas but in an easier way. Ultimately, we just need to group together and #makeFGgreatagain. I haven't got shirts or some fluffy thing to get you back over to FG like a few years ago. I'd hope that's not needed to make you enjoy this place and that's not why I did that sentiment (although a merch shop wouldn't go a miss). Hi All, We've had a fantastic year in 2018 and whilst we've managed to achieve a lot of things this year, I can't deny its been a hard slog. Thank you to every single one of you that has been a continued support, this place really wouldn't exist if you all didn't contribute and enjoy being a part of this place. With a new year starting, there are many things that people have asked for and at the same time there's been many changes I'd love to see but life has a funny way of getting in the way of these things (plus, my brain can only stay active so long into the night). This is also coupled with regular people wanting to keep the support going and chip in to play more of a role in making FG something bigger, better and greater for all of us. This is something i've been wanting to do for some time and its great we can now do this. We'll now have a team of people that deserve to be called admins that will help make changes and drive things forward alongside myself. @crispymorgan, @tronic44 and @phil bottle will become new admins with immediate effect. I think all the regulars know these guys and they are all very much deserving FGers that will get this place continually moving in the right direction. I'm also delighted to say that @Diddums is going to play much more of a role going forward too, just like the good old days, which i'm extremely happy about Does this mean what I've been doing over the past few years will change? Not at all. In fact I think things will significantly get even better because with a team of people that are FG through and through, you will see new features, content, people...everything. I won't ever give up on this place and neither should anyone else. Our home is here to stay. There'll be more specifics on what things we can plan to change and make better here coming over the next few weeks. For now though, I hope you can support me by saying well done and a massive thank you to the guys stepping up and becoming part of the Admin FG Team. GGFG
