Name: Hunting Lodge Location: FG Server, Elder Base Camp So @RenFengge and I promised a portal to the Elder as we dicked around trying to get the Stag. With this goal in mind, I wandered up to the Elder location on the map and scouted a place to build. I saw a troll and took him out from a massive rock face overlooking the water, and what appears to be mountains. So I think to myself, self...can I build a hunting lodge INSIDE a rock face and fill it in with wood. Well the answer is, well of course you can. So tonight I give to you the comfy hunting cabin that sleeps 8 in my first super compact Japanese style bunks (google "capsule hotel), now that's space saving! With my inner Ikea going, I went about decorating our hunting cabin with all of our prey. Front and center is Marvin the troll I killed to christen the site. As you can tell, the outside has a small footprint with only some roof showing. The inside is basically glamping, although, 100 hours in and I've yet to see anyone built a shitter.... Hope everyone enjoys, the portal name is "Elder" and can be found at on the left hand side of the ring in the mead hall. OOO fun fact, I also built a path right to the Elder alter so no one gets lost on our upcoming hunting trip!!

We will have to go kill it then!!! Thanks for the heads up. We plan on sailing south to explore, hence the long sail from the north thus far.

Name: Basement Location: FG Server, West Island @RenFengge and I may have taken the boat for a sail...we may have discovered a smallish west island...and may have created a portal there. The boat is also there at the moment... @GazzaGarrattif we wreck it, I will build you a new one, promise!! So we built this little cabin on a dungeon that we landed on...figured they don't respawn so now we have a basement to store things?!?!?

Thanks @GazzaGarratt, I started to play with sings for the portals but it was late and it did not look good easily. I'll attack it today. As for the dock, I'm super excited for you guys to finish that. @RenFengge also realized we only explored north so far 😂. I think she plans on going south for another portal post!

Name: Grand Central Location: FG Server, Home Base UPDATE: Poked around the inside tonight, goal was getting a working level 3 forge, meadery (cauldron & fermenter), and legit storage bank. After farming 70 copper to make the magic happen, I went to work. I'm quite happy with the results and think this might be the best, and most compact storage set up. This allows 500u of 12 items in only 2 x 1.5 cubed area, 500x16 for a 2x2 or 6k and 8k unit capacity respectively. That's pretty compact considering most small outposts are at least 4x6! I splurged with some sconces but never fear, there is plenty more copper out in the world. I guess I was that anal-retentive guy for label and sorting after all. So go out, forage and bring back the spoils to the potion pantry. I plan on doing similar ones for other goods as well. Last but not least, feel free to have a brew and curl up by the fire on backs of all those deer we slaughtered!!

Name: Grand Central Location: FG Server, Home Base UPDATE: So I put a few hours in tonight, I think I made decent progress. I added a bit of style to the back, it's a half round room that has 7 (can fit 8, need a few materials) portals, only 4 in use which frees up some space and we can put another 8 upstairs. More additions include a forge bench, for our meadery. I was half thinking of mining a basement for it since we need fire and a cauldron, still thinking about that one. I 've had to dig deep to level this land out and I might hit the water table too quickly but we will see, more to come. To Do's: I'm going to be looking to fellow Vikings to help decorate. I think the sconce lighting will be good so we need 2 copper bars per. I think maybe hang some of our trophy's on the wall? Maybe some weapons? When folks play for a bit, we will need everyone to pick up everything!! Berries, weeds, shrooms, etc. All these things are needed for potions now. Also, "bee" on the look out for bee hives, we need more queens to set up more hives here at the meadery. Finally, I need our more anal-retentive or OCD folks to help with chest signage, at this point, having dedicated chests for everything is probably a must with signs.

@phil bottle, @GazzaGarratt Well thanks for the feedback and kind words, I will take more in progress shots going forward. We will have at least 12 portals in this building. Can certainly fit double if we wanted to. My thought was having another hub somewhere. Like when we get to another continent. Think train station or airport. We can pick 12 locations of importance here, with a 13th leading to another station. These hubs would just be a leg in a connecting "flight". Will be better than traveling across oceans everytime! Although the dock you two were working on is going to make that first voyage special!!!

Name: Grand Central Location: FG Server, Home Base Now that we have portals, we need a hub to move about the map. After much "debate" about how they worked with @RenFengge , I was tasked with making a hub. I wanted to make a great mead hall anyway so the two naturally seem to fit. Alas, my designs were underway, and I think good progress was made. It's about 57.9873% complete at this point and will be done by the end of the week. With the portals downstairs and the FG Meadery upstairs, you too can enjoy a pint before dashing away to mine some copper or chop some wood through your favorite portal. Enjoy some in flight shots as the day progressed. I especially enjoy the dragon head, keeping our mead hall and portal hub safe!!!

Name: First Portal Location: Personal Sever I make my side look biblical, coming down the steps like a second coming into town and @RenFengge and @FallenDark200 make some rando stairs that don't connect to anything, not to mention our new epic portal...this...this is what I working with.... btw, portals are dope.

Name: Covered Bridge Location: Personal Server Needed a quick way to get around for smelting, there was a river, I had the solution....roads will be coming to the clan server soon....The attached gate house will accommodate the weary traveler with a warm bed and a secure sleeping location.

Well I keep posting rando stuff I build for the clan and some things on my personal server. I'll be posting things I'm proud of here to offer up some inspiration to our fellow Vikings. I've included proof that I'm indeed "The Bearded Guru" which is a nickname I got at work after I lost a bet. Also note the RBG mask, woman was legend!!

@RenFengge and I were busy tonight after a long day at work. Main base now has a full smelting, 9 pigs a breeding, and some patched fence work. Merchant base now has a troll hunting tower that @FallenDark200 and I worked on. Getting ready for Sunday!!
