francisbaud got a reaction from GazzaGarratt in Coronavirus
Hopefully it keeps decreasing and disappears by itself at some point soon.
It's encouraging so far: https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/

francisbaud got a reaction from GazzaGarratt in Valheim
Valheim should be close to 6 million copies sold in a month and a half, with a still very high Steam score (96% positive with +150K reviews). This little studio of just 3-5 developers really did an extraordinary job!

francisbaud got a reaction from RenFengge in EA giving studios freedom with Game development
"Within her role, Miele oversees over 6,000 gaming developers from all kinds of backgrounds working on all sorts of projects." 6K developers under the EA's umbrella, that's a lot. No wonder why there's an actual (perceived) disconnect between the giant and its studios.
"Since then, we have announced a slate of games that players asked for: a new Skate, College Football, a Command & Conquer remaster, the Mass Effect Trilogy and we developed free content in Battlefront 2 for several years to turn the perception of that game completely around." Yes, also because the games gamers want help generating additional revenues.
"She also talked a little bit about how the goal is to have players involved in the conversation during development, which was a big push behind the reason to release the source code for Command & Conquer." Didn't know about the release of the source code. That's a step in the right direction I guess.

francisbaud got a reaction from GazzaGarratt in Entertainment during the pandemic
Yea MMORPGs are a really good way to pass the time. There are many decent MMORPGs on PC that are free (like Albion Online and Guild Wars 2, or Warframe and Destiny 2 as you mentioned).

francisbaud reacted to Nutcuttlit in How to get a start working with animals
Its a very valid reason also some people find out quickly it aint for them once they start. The other main reason is the animals simply dont like the keepers, its not always a can you do it, its mostly will the animal let you do it.

Nice topic! I always loved animal but didn't think I could work in this field at the time.

To stay healthy I mostly eat healthy (except the box of Oreo biscuits I ate recently), this morning an omelet with vegetables and a fruity smoothie.
