  1. https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=7&v=31ivdML1Xes I miss this system at times. IDK why I ever got rid of it. (Still got my PS2 though!)

  3. I agree with you guys. I am going to take my time and just sort of experience things. Also, I am going to explore the random things I come across. This game is really rather beautiful with its panoramic's and sadly I don't really notice them anymore.
  4. Awesome find, thank you for sharing it
  5. I really wish I had another character slot, with how all of this is reading, I think it would be pretty nice to start the game over again.
  6. Oh god Just watched the Sex Education video. I can't stop laughing
  7. If I discard a shader in my current inventory, is it gone? I thought I could get it again from the vault thing.
  8. Not true! Wife went out with friends the other night, came home lit all to fuck. We had some hot soggy College level sex for about 6 minutes, and then I held her hair while she puked. Then our son woke up and wanted to know why mommy was sick. Thats parent level sex right there.
  9. https://www.reddit.com/r/CruciblePlaybook/comments/3k8u4t/year_1_vs_year_2_weapon_testing_extensive/ This thread is huge, not even going to try to cut and paste all the links or tables This is not comprehensive by any means, but I primarily wanted to compare some of my favorite weapons before and after the 2.0 rebalance, and this is the result of my efforts. This has taken about 8 hours altogether to create, assemble, edit, upload, and then format into a reddit post, so I hope you find it useful. First of all, there's a YouTube video here: Year 1 vs. Year 2 Weapons Testing [2] It shows: Shot package compared on the Matador 64 before [RES ignored duplicate link][3] and after [4] Recoil on the High Impact Pulse Rifle Holy Trinity: Super Pox VLO with Perfect Balance, Hopscotch Pilgrim with Braced Frame, and The Messenger with Perfect Balance before [5] and after [6] The most pronounced difference can be seen by trying to snipe beyond normal range with these three weapons, before [7] and after [8] Hopscotch was dethroned by changing archetype. Lest you think the remaining two contenders have been made unusable as headshot machines, they haven't [9] . The Messenger is only slightly less stable than this. Perfect Balance as it pertains to auto rifles [10] . Thoughts: Widening shot package by 30% has had hardly any effect at usable ranges. Reports of shotgun sniping's demise have been greatly exaggerated. Suggestion to Bungie: Remove shot package altogether from the Felwinter's/Matador archetype. Have it widen by 30% on the Comedian/Hard Luck Charm archetype. Leave it at full effectiveness on the Secret Handshake/Dry Rot archetype. Super Pox VLO with Perfect Balance is now the most stable high impact pulse rifle in the game. Its advantage over The Messenger is much less pronounced than pre-2.0, but it's still just enough to be felt. Bungie pretty much achieved their stated aim. You can still crush things with the HIPRs, but now you'll need to finesse your aim just a bit rather than put your sights on someone's head and pull the trigger to win. Hopscotch Pilgrim is largely unchanged except that it now fires faster and does less damage; it's been dethroned by virtue of moving to a different archetype. This makes sense. Base stability and Perfect Balance being nerfed brought Super Pox VLO and The Messenger down a peg, but left them still highly dangerous in skilled hands. They're around where Three Little Words used to be. Braced Frame wasn't getting nerfed. By virtue of that, Hopscotch Pilgrim was going to be a monster going forward if it wasn't directly addressed. Secret Round used to only activate and fire the fourth round on a miss if at least one round had struck an enemy. Now it activates even if you hit nothing. Auto rifles with Perfect Balance are actually more controllable now. The stability bonus is less than it was, but Perfect Balance seems to now alter the recoil pattern to straight up. The net result is they're easier to control under sustained fire despite less stability. Screenshot comparison on the nerf of some Year 1 perks: Super Pox VLO with Perfect Balance Year 1 [11] vs. Year 2 [12] Hopscotch Pilgrim with Braced Frame Year 1 [13] vs. Year 2 [14] The Messenger with Perfect Balance Year 1 [15] vs. Year 2 [16] Shadow Price with Hammer Forged Year 1 [17] vs. Year 2 [18] Payback SOS with Perfect Balance Year 1 [19] vs. Year 2 [20] Payback SOS with Hammer Forged Year 1 [21] vs. Year 2 [22] Payback SOS with Field Scout Year 1 [23] vs. Year 2 [24] The Comedian with Field Scout Year 1 [25] vs. Year 2 [26] Secret Handshake with Hammer Forged Year 1 [27] vs. Year 2 [28] Jolder's Hammer with Field Scout Year 1 [29] vs. Year 2 [30] Thunderlord with Field Scout Year 1 [31] vs. Year 2 [32] Thunderlord with Perfect Balance Year 1 [33] vs. Year 2 [34] Plug One.1 with Send It Year 1 [35] vs. Year 2 [36] Give/Take Equation with Enhanced Battery Year 1 [37] vs. Year 2 [38] MG18A Harm's Way with Field Scout Year 1 [39] vs. Year 2 [40] MG18A Harm's Way with Perfect Balance Year 1 [41] vs. Year 2 [42] Vision of Confluence with Perfect Balance Year 1 [43] vs. Year 2 [44] Comparison of some of these weapons to each other or House of Wolves weapons to better visualize the change Super Pox VLO with Perfect Balance vs. Hopscotch Pilgrim with Braced Frame Year 1 [45] vs. Year 2 [46] The Messenger with Perfect Balance vs. Hopscotch Pilgrim with Braced Frame Year 1 [47] vs. Year 2 [48] Matador 64 with Rifled Barrel vs. Invective with Send It Year 1 [49] vs. Year 2 [50] MG18A Harm's Way with Perfect Balance vs. Unending Deluge III Year 1 [51] vs. Year 2 [52] Plug One.1 with Send It vs. Give/Take Equation Year 1 [53] vs. Year 2 [54] Secret Handshake with Hammer Forged vs. Matador 64 with Rifled Barrel Year 1 [55] vs. Year 2 [56] Vision of Confluence with Perfect Balance vs. Zero Point LOTP with Braced Frame Year 1 [57] vs. Year 2 [58] Thoughts: Invective dodged the Send It nerf. It still has maximum shotgun range on two out of the three ammo perks when using Send It. Matador 64 had a stealth stability nerf. Stability is half what it was before. It gained one extra round in reserve, though. You can now carry 20 rounds for it without a special ammo armor perk instead of 19. Aggressive Ballistics appears to have gotten a stealth range nerf on machineguns. Notice in the drop in range on my AB-equipped Unending Deluge III vs. the same-archetype MG18A Harm's Way with different ammo between year 1 and year 2. The drop in range is slightly greater in year 2. Enhanced Battery had a stealth nerf. It now only boosts a fusion rifle's magazine to 6 shots instead of 8. As mentioned above, I'll need to do more testing to be sure, but Perfect Balance seems to have inherited Counterbalance's recoil straightening despite losing some of its stability bonus. Depending on the weapon, this ranges from no effect (Super Pox VLO) to a stark improvement (Payback SOS). Field Scout no longer grants a larger magazine, but it does still max out spare ammunition capacity on primary and secondary weapons. See Comedian Year 1 [59] vs. Year 2 [60] . It can only hold the standard 5 rounds now instead of 7, but its total capacity remains at 28. Spare ammunition capacity has been cut as well for heavy weapons though; machineguns will no longer hold the maximum amount of ammo without the heavy ammo armor perk. The vendor Secret Handshake's viability in Crucible has been slain by the Hammer Forged nerf. It has been a solid quick-firing alternative to the Felwinter's archetype thanks to Field Choke + Shot Package + Hammer Forged. Now? It needs Field Choke and Hammer Forged just to reach The Comedian's base range. Flip it over, it's done. Shadow Price with Hammer Forged still has range that is nuts even after the damage falloff and Hammer Forged nerfs. Toland the Shattered's personal auto rifle indeed.

  11. Americanized Christianity, yes, totally, 100% agree with you Also, this amuses me https://www.yahoo.com/music/survivor-did-not-grant-kentucky-county-clerk-kim-128671777736.html It might be Kim Davis’ favorite hype-up song, but Survivor says it did not grant the embattled Kentucky county clerk the rights to use “Eye of the Tiger” at her get-out-of-jail rally. Davis – who was jailed for refusing to grant marriage licenses to same-sex couples in her state – stood alongside Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee at a rally in Grayson, Ky., on Tuesday (Sept. 8) as the Survivor anthem made famous by Rocky III played in the background. Madonna’s Brother Defends Jailed Clerk Who Refused Marriage Licenses for Gay Couples Survivor founding member and “Eye of the Tiger” co-writer Jim Peterik sent a statement to Billboard making clear that the band did not authorize the song’s use at Tuesday’s rally. “I was very surprised and dismayed at the misuse of the song I co-wrote with Frankie Sullivan for Rocky lll,” he said. “The song has motivated thousands through the years to reach beyond their limits. Its use for the release of Kim Davis does not support my views or my politics. I have contacted my publishers to make sure this usage is stopped immediately.” Sullivan, meanwhile, took to Facebook to let his followers know he did not support Davis’ crusade. “We did not grant Kim Davis any rights to use 'My Tune -The Eye Of The Tiger.’ I would not grant her the rights to use Charmin!” he wrote. See his full Facebook post below: TMZ is reporting that the group is considering a lawsuit over the use of their song.

  14. From Reddit https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyTheGame/comments/3k5zcq/raid_armor_found_in_the_database_heavy_spoilers/ The first links to come up will be for the Warlocks. I'll get everything for the Titans next, then for the Hunters. Please be patient and refresh! Also, pay attention to the flavor text. There's some interesting Hive worm lore in there. There's also some perks that give us clues to raid mechanics, such as being "Torn Between Dimensions" and being in an "Aura." Speculate away! Also, lots of references to Eir, Xol, Yul, and Ur. Very very interesting. Maybe they are the Worm Gods that the Hive pledged themselves to as shown by the flavor text? It seems that theory about the worms eating away the light was true! 15. I am waiting till next week to really dive in. (Plus I want to finish playing Darksiders 2) My wife turned my PS4 on around 12 noon CST yesterday, and by the time I got home from work, around 6pm CST, my PS4 had shut off for being idle for to long. So, I'll call it 4-5 hours to download the whole thing. Also, I would think some of the Hive missions on the moon would be good for orbs. Wait for a huge group of thralls to show up and then ground pound them
  16. Can you get a second opinion? I tore my gamekeepers ligament in my right hand. (it controls your thumbs movement) One doctor was all about surgery and shit, and how I would never have proper use of my hand again if I didn't go under the knife. Went to another doctor, he had me do a cast for 90 days, and then phys therapy with silly putty for a few weeks. I went to the first two Phys therapy sessions, and asked a ton of questions and shit, then went home and just kept doing those exercises daily, and never went back. After a few weeks, everything started returning to normal.
  17. LMFAO And yet, here you are, again.... Anyway. I personally like what Kim Davis has done. She came out publicly, with a totally untenable position, and got people to agree with her. We can now look accurately at her "supporters" and judge them appropriately for being morons. (Looking at you, Ted Cruz)
  18. Link to the "VB" article mentioned a few times http://venturebeat.com/2015/09/04/ex-bungie-composer-marty-odonnell-wins-epic-legal-fight-with-former-bosses/
  19. http://www.forbes.com/sites/insertcoin/2015/09/05/destiny-lawsuit-solves-two-mysteries-a-composers-departure-and-a-fractured-story/ Two mysteries have been solved today after the release of court documents regarding a lawsuit against Bungie by a former employee. The first is why after a long, productive relationship, composer Marty O’Donnell was fired from the company after he scored Destiny. The second is what on earth happened to Destiny’s story for it to be so fractured and incoherent at launch. VentureBeat has a deep dive into the court docs, and both the answers are within. First and foremost, O’Donnell won the case, which is the big news, as it gives him a cash award from the company based on stock he was supposed to be able to hang on to, but after his firing, that was in dispute. As for why he was fired, O’Donnell claimed that he sparred with Activision’s marketing team, who wanted to score the trailers for Destiny themselves, something he normally did on all past Halo games. After that, O’Donnell’s working relationship with Activision and Bungie became somewhat toxic, and his lack of engagement with the work apparently led to his eventual firing. But also in the court documents is the first official confirmation that Destiny dramatically reworked its story, which combined with issues with O’Donnell it seems, and led to a number of delays. From VB: “While Destiny was planned for a September 2013 release, the story was substantially revised in August 2013. That pushed the release date back to March 2014. O’Donnell returned to work after a vacation, but the audio team and his supervisor did not consider him to be fully engaged in his work. The release date of the game, meanwhile, pushed back to September 2014. Bungie set in motion a process to terminate O’Donnell.” Fans have always wondered why Destiny is so light on story, and rumors have circulated about the idea that a major rework took place ahead of launch. This has been hinted at and quasi-confirmed before, with early testers saying the Destiny they played was considerably different than the final product, and early trailer showed cutscenes that ended up not being in the game at all (see the lead image of this post). The rumor was Bungie gutted the story and brought in a Grimoire card author as a way to bolster the lore, but the damage was done. This document shows that in some capacity, this did indeed happen. Though the specifics of what happened to the story and why it was so dramatically changed at such a late hour is not mentioned however. There are a few theories as to that, my favorite being that Destiny contains a twist where the beloved Traveler is evil, and we’re his undead instruments committing alien genocide on a massive scale. That twist (or something like it) may still be coming, but it appears for launch, Bungie wanted to massively simplify the entire story into something along the lines of “kill all these aliens, trust us they’re bad.” With such huge changes to the story so late in the game, they quite literally didn’t have time to explain why they didn’t have time to explain. As for the O’Donnell feud that sparked this entire production, it seems to be as ugly as anyone imagined. The specifics of the issues between Bungie and O’Donnell have been under wraps, but with the release of these documents, neither side comes out looking great. Given his great work in the past, it seems dumb to spar with a genius like O’Donnell over something as trivial as the score for trailers and ads, and they should have just let him do his thing. But later, it seems that a large number of staff, not just execs, were dissatisfied with O’Donnell’s perceived lack of effort after being beleaguered by Bungie and Activision, which ultimately led to his dismissal. And yet the crux of the case was not “who was a jerk,” but rather, what O’Donnell was legally owed despite being fired. And it appears the answer is quite a lot. For a (very) thorough breakdown of the ruling, head over to VB. I find the story confirmation the most interesting part of all of this, even if it is just a footnote, and I’m hoping that years from now we can hear exactly what happened there. The O’Donnell issue is just sad, and though it would be amazing to see him somehow work with Bungie again, after this, that seems exceptionally unlikely. However, also from the documents, it’s implied that O’Donnell somehow composed enough music to last the full-ten year lifespan of the series, and it will continue to be used going forward. I’ve reached out to Bungie to see if they have an official comment on the ruling. Bonus Find: Also buried in the documents? Destiny is described as a five-part series, meaning the “every other year for a full sequel” theory many fans and observers have had for a while now may be valid.
  20. what the actual fuck? those guys are clearly out of ideas.
  21. http://www.ishtar-collective.net/ For all your Lore needs!
  22. My prediction: [spoilers] I spend all day at work getting hyped. I get home at 6 and check if the patch has started, it hasn't I walk the dog and then check again, nope I check the Reddit forums and get in an argument with a Thorn hater. Suddenly the DLC starts downloading I watch it up to 10% but then common sense takes over and I start making some food I repeatedly check the progress while food is cooking and continue to troll Thorn hater, food gets a little burnt Finish food, I've watched it creep up while eating. Obligatory chuckle when it got stuck at 69% Yep, even though I called the wife just now to tell her to fire up the PS4, the patch still won't be running
  23. I almost bought the books this weekend for my son. I was going to make a post today about if anyone had read them, now I don't have to lol Last movies: Black Rock - fucking horrible movie Woman in black (w/ Daniel Radcliffe) - Really solid ghost story
