    I cycle to work every day from hackney to barbican, takes between 20 and 30 minutes depending on traffic and my energy levels.

    I had a mountain bike as my mode of transportation while in College. I followed all the rules of the road etc... I only had 1 issue. I was stopped at a red light minding my business and woman on a road bike clipped me! I heard a yelp and caught her out of the corner of my eye as she hit me then the ground. I made sure I was okay, said "you dumb bitch", the light changed and I pushed off. I had a nice bruises on my left love handle and arm. As stated previous I'm a pudgy fuck she's not the first person to hit me at speed and end up bouncing off the ground. :lol:

    There are a ton of road bikers around here, I understand completely. They'll ride next to each other, one off in the shoulder one half in the lane dumb slow on a high speed road and back up traffic. What gets me is I encounter many on a local road that is scary. I almost died on this road, it's no joke, there is barely enough room for 2 cars to pass and people always drive in the middle of it so it's a wonderful idea to take the bike out and peddle around the 100% blind shale cliff wall hairpin turns that go up and down elevation changes. Intelligent. Wish I could mailbox baseball them. :angry:

    I’ve found not aiming is the best aim for headshots in HC; I’ve been getting a ton of headshots in HC while hip firing. I unlocked the get 2 headshots with 1 bullet 3 times background (I think thats what it is?) after a few hours of playing HC. I never would have got that in Core. It took me FOREVER to get the Headshot 2 enemies with 1 bullet mw3_cat.png in MW3.

    Wallrunning is advertising yourself to be killed on most maps :lol: The amount of people that run into certain death at the start on Combine is cringeworthy still! I only use wallrunning if I'm feeling lazy getting from A to B but only when I'm 100% sure it's safe to do so. I don't really mind this aspect as it's not such a prominent feature of the game like the exo shits on Advanced Warfare but everything is so much more satisfying on the ground in this game. Actually on some maps; the few wallrunning avenues around are actually outside of the map and just take you away from the action anyway.

    I get wrecked all the time by wall runners. I suck, that being said I've only found it to be useful on two maps, Nuketown because it's hectic and what I think is the best example Metro because a lot of people still don't know you can jump off your spawn behind the walls and swim or jump your way into theirs.     Lol. Plus I would be saving money doing it myself with friends. Then afterwards throw it on the dyno at my work and tune it with our Edge Products. mmmmmmmm. Yeah a Procharger would be great! But I think next Christmas or Birthday I would be asking for an upgraded suspension system (long travel). Curbs and whoops will be eaten up by the suspension.

    I know, wish the wife would understand that. Its cheaper than buying a whole new vehicle. Plus I'm getting what I want out of it. http://www.chevrolet.com/performance/crate-engines/connect-cruise-ls3.html

    Thats a great deal for all of that. The piece of mind knowing if you put that in you'll have a nice reliable vehicle and not have to worry about anything is worth it. Plus 400+ ponies to the wheels wont hurt! Procharger next Christmas :lol:

    I'm looking to get some new socks.

    I know there's been no extra cash around here so I could do with some comfy feet. I have my eyes on a PS4 for next year!

    That's what I did last year and got 144 pair of socks. :( 

     

    The idea of swapping my engine and transmission out for a brand new crate motor/transmission package. But we will see how that goes ovcewr, lol.

     Viper, that's the gift that keeps on giving the whole year. :lol:

    Googles "COBB Tuning SS 3" Turboback exhaust.".....wow!!  :o  Hope you don't want it gift wrapped!! :)

     

    Yeah it's the $1,250.00 one. I didn't push it with asking for gaskets (if it doesn't come with them) and new hangers. I think a bow on the shipping box with a tag displaying all those who've donated would be nice. :lol: It's not like I'm ripping a brand new stock one off for this one. Most of it is 10 years old and rotten away by time and road salt. I have a leak as well. It's a Mr. Spock logical gift idea. :)

    Great thread, I'm getting ramped up for the holidays! I calculated my PTO yesterday and I'll be enjoying 18 days off from work which is a gift in itself. I'll decorate some this weekend then next weekend I'm headed out to cut my Tree down! Pretty excited. 

     

    For Christmas I've asked everyone to chip in on something I need: a new exhaust for my car. It's mapped for it so I'm asking for the COBB Tuning SS 3" Turboback exhaust.

    OK, so I'm a dummy and figured out my embarrassingly simple save game issue. I'm 90% into the Batgirl expansion and I don't know how they did it but the game actually runs worse for me than before! Yes worse. 

     

    I have a 2GB card and since I didn't set the game up after re-installing it the auto settings had me at 1600x900 30 FPS with low texture settings and no NVIDIA bullshit on using just under 2GB of VRAM. There is a fancy counter now that acts as an illustration for how terrible of a job they've done optimizing it for PC. It ran great but looked like hammered shit so I went back to my previous 1920x1080 high texture settings, no NVIDIA bullshit on at 90 FPS. It's got me requiring close to 5GB of VRAM!  :lol: You don't need to be Lupin to know this shit is ridiculous! :rolleyes:

    Did you buy the season pass on Steam Joe? If so; you could get that refunded on there and just retain the base game. The season pass (which I so nearly bought) doesn't seem to be offering much in terms of material.

    The premium edition included the season pass so no to answer your question. I just realized when they re-released the game I got my season pass expansions and skins. I guess I'll have to try and get my save game working and get on finishing them.

    Yep, you can only obtain a refund through Steam if you bought it from the Store itself. It's probably not worth the hassle for other users unless the retailer has a solid refund practice in place for rare situations like these - I got lucky with GMG in all honesty.

     

    I did finish and enjoy the game when it was functioning properly but I decided to grab a refund as I was still entitled to it under the circumstances and my experience was dis-satisfactory for many hours. I would be morally mortified by doing such a crafty thing as it's not in my ethics but the PC version and the publishers' conduct was disgraceful for many so my mind is clear and I do intend to pick it up on the PS4 sometime for roughly the same price I would have paid on PC so WB and Rocksteady will still have one over on me regardless :lol:

     

    You're talking about morals and ethics when I'm trying to do Steam for a $90 refund when I've only paid $35. :lol: It would be me aiming to put the screws to the developer and publisher in the spirit of Batman vigilante justice for what they've done though... I agree with you 100%.

    Same here on the not sure. I was a staunch Trek hater for many years then I watched the original series & movies and fell in love with it and the idea of the show. I tried to get into the later stuff, I don't know why but it just doesn't click with me. If the new series follows The Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager type nonsense I'm out.
