  1. yep, whey protein and creatine are no brainers.
  2. haha, yep, Drifter in with a full beard tomorrow. I've really had fun growing it out. I'm at 8 months now. I gotta grow a "Yeard" at least (year long beard). Then I'll decide if I'm gonna keep going or trim it back.
  3. I'll post my update when I get home; at work right now.
  4. No Shave November starts now AKA Get a headstart on your Winter Beard AKA It's time to be a Man Share your pics or funny quips about Facial Hair.
  5. Well, you can ask anyone, Creatine and Whey protein are no brainers. If those were the only supplements you used, you would be fine. I like the nootropic effect of choline and gingko biloba. It really makes me feel like my brain is clicking. Flax seed is important because I'm not eating fish (which everyone should stop eating immediately because of the Fukushima disaster) I like the Sexual effect for Yohimbe. Beta Alanine helps you towards the end of your workout because you have more endurance and can push out that last part. Especially as you progress, your workouts get intense, because you're lifting more weight. Creatine helps with this too.
  6. This is on my bucket list. Where do I start? I have read a book on the subject 10 years ago. Lol, I have several things I want to do and this one has been floating around up there for awhile.
  7. tons of info added to OP
  8. thanks figured it went with my beard lol I updated some of the OP but its far from complete. Still work in progress.
  9. Adam is right, exercise is a catlyst for weight loss and its all about diet. However, I started at 245lbs going into this. I'm down to 225lbs now. I have never done Cardio. I workup a good heart rate just lifting weights, usually around 140-150 bpm. The reason for this is because I only take 1:00 to 1:30 minute breaks between sets. I use a stopwatch to keep my workout on schedule. I'm working on the OP right now. More to follow there.
  10. Sure will man. Gotta go, off to work. Chat later.
  11. Cool man, feel free to jump in and we can motivate each other. I'm gonna post a lot of information tonight at work.
  12. Damn dude, 150 lbs is quite an accomplishment. I remember seeing your thread about that but I didn't realize it was that much. Good job! I have learned that exercise is all about Momentum. Once you get going, you tend to keep going. Once you stop, same thing. It takes about 4 weeks to get the ball rolling because that's when you start noticing your body changing. And thus positive reinforcement. Maybe I can spray tan? lol That might be douchebag territory though
  13. I have been making some progress these past 7 months. I'm going to work on adding to this thread all the things I've learned so far. DISCLAIMER: Everybody is different. I'm not here to offer personal advice, as I'm not qualified enough to address a case by case basis. The purpose of this thread is to show what I have learned and what works for me. Maybe it will work for you too. 14. nice, I have that toy in my closet I think, lmao
  15. I nominate "The Rock" lol - maybe he's not "black" enough though.
  16. If his vision is anything like what he did to the comic, I have my reservations. He has stated in interviews that he wants Spawn to be kind of an "urban legend" lurking in the shadows. Hence, the Horror angle. I'll give it a shot but I'm not really that hopeful. The first movie was pg-13, that's where its problems came from. Looks like this will be a proper rated R. I agree, the HBO series was spot on.
  17. BUMMER that they want Jamie Foxx though. Damn it! Or that his name was mentioned. He's already ruining Spider-man 2 for me.
  18. I started reading Spawn at issue #18 and followed it all the way to issue #100. I jumped off but went back a couple of years ago and finished my collection. Its currently on issue #227 or some shit but I lost interest. Its past its peak. Although it will be interesting to see a movie set in this universe with Al Simmons again.
  19. Todd McFarlane Says New ‘Spawn’ Movie Will Be Horror Could Shoot Next Year Last year, Image Comics co-founder Todd McFarlane celebrated the 20th anniversary of Spawn, a milestone that rekindled questions about the character’s potential return to theaters. He made his big-screen debut in 1997, in an action film that starred Michael Jai White and John Leguizamo, which grossed more than $87 million for New Line Cinema. “The reality is that I’ve got a lot of pressure,” McFarlane told The Gate over the weekend at Fan Expo Canada. “They want me to deliver the script by the end of the year, which would basically mean we’d be shooting next year. So, that’s the goal right now. “The thing that keeps slowing it down is that the negotiation I’ve done is I write, produce, direct, but I’ve got to push a lot of my other endeavors off to the side so I can just get tunnel vision on it. And so everybody at my company is now going, ‘We’ve got to find Todd the time to finish all this.’” McFarlane explained he sees the project as a 60- to 70-day shoot. “I think it’s a quick shoot. It’s not going to be a giant budget with a lot of special effects, it’s going to be more of a horror movie and a thriller movie, not a superhero one,” he said. “I’ve got so many people phoning now that I’ve got to get it done. I’ve made some promises to people this year.” He also spoke generally about recent comments by actors like Jamie Foxx, who said he’s “aggressively pursuing” the role of Spawn. “You know what, we’ve had some big names – like who you’re mentioning – come to the office and go ‘We want to be in it,’” McFarlane said. “Sometimes they give me their pitch, I give them my pitch, I go, ‘We can get in it, this is how it goes,’ and so those types of actors–Academy Award guys – they’re going, ‘As soon as that scripts done, we’re going.’ So once we get this thing done, we’ll get it off the ground with some big names.”
