How Squad Points are earned

There seems to be confusion over this; I know I wasn't aware of it.

-2 points per level gained

-1 point per 3000 XP earned

I've accumulated nigh-on a thousand and didn't know how.

 

I still think the system is a bit too generous but is pretty ideal for purchasing the high-value soldiers

The high value soldiers get cheaper as you complete the lower level prestiges

I'm pretty sure you get a squad point for completing a field objective and I think you get one for going on longer killstreaks.

After a match, is there anywhere to see how many Squad Points you earned for that match?

I think you get Them for long shots, doubles, any sort of in game achievement, but not every time. I sometimes get them and have no idea why

Those are probably coming from the 3k XP mark. Those extra things like doubles and longshots add XP fast.

In the post-match summary if you press select after the game whilst in the lobby, you get a squad point prompt to the right of the XP rank growth bar

For every 2000 xp earned you get a point. I saw a video explaining I'll find the video and post it later
