Battlefield 3 connection problems

Anyone else been having connection problems with Battlefield 3 recently? Recently I feel like I'm playing Black Ops 2 again, hitmarkers like crazy only to get insta-killed when the guy starts shooting. Then last night I lost track of how many matches I lost connection to after playing for a couple of minutes. I'm wondering if it's a problem on my end or if the servers have been having issues. 

The weirdest part is that I just started using a wired connection again (normally I have to use wi-fi). That should make it better, not worse, shouldn't it?

Servers are getting slow because of people waiting for BF4 I think. I few good matches anymore. I usually get connected with Europe from North America. Some game modes seem to only have 2-3 severs running.
