The3rdWalker 1,279
CCG, if you are an old magic player or fan of competitive card games give it a go. I have played since beta- it is a Blizzard product. If anyone already plays it shoot me a friends request. TigerBurge 2,375
Is it best to play on pc? Or is the tablet version good? Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2826-hearthstone-heroes-of-warcraft/#findComment-65995 Share on other sites
Diddums 4,350
Both are good. In fact Tablet is probably a bit better. Really fun game, but the issue for me is it's not enough to be a proper time sink but too much to be a on-the-shitter game. Also, you will get to a point where you need to soend money. Really good game though. Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2826-hearthstone-heroes-of-warcraft/#findComment-66009 Share on other sites
cyberninja2601 1,106
Friend request sent I like the game. It made me consider picking up magic again and I decided to stick with this one. I play on the Mac, PC and iPhone. All of them are basically the same. It's a bit hard to see everything on the iPhone I find. I think if you want to be competitive however, you have to be ready to invest money in the game. Otherwise you have to be very patient and get your gold doing quests which can take a while without the better cards Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2826-hearthstone-heroes-of-warcraft/#findComment-66013 Share on other sites
BO7H B4RRELS 2,455
I've been meaning to try this out. I've never played anything like it though. cyberninja2601 1,106
It's pretty simple. The mechanics are very basic but you still need some strategy to play well. It might be an ideal thing for you when you are at work. It runs on a pretty basic machine and your account works on all platforms so it doesn't matter what you are playing on Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2826-hearthstone-heroes-of-warcraft/#findComment-66018 Share on other sites
The3rdWalker 1,279
Is it best to play on pc? Or is the tablet version good? The game is super well optimized for both tablet and phone play, I play almost exclusively on my tablet now instead of my laptop. Also, you will get to a point where you need to spend money. I'm going to disagree on this one though, I have taught my nephew to play 100% free to play for this game and he almost has every card in the collection about a 1-2 months into playing. There are some solid basic decks to make and competitive, then make the switch to arena and you will net more gold than the runs cost. It really all depends on how much you enjoy the game and how you like ccg, even how serious you are towards hearthstone. In the beginning I was impatient and a huge MTG junkie as a teenager so I have spent a couple hundred. In all honesty to have a massive head start you only need to spend about 50.00 (Both adventures reward you with cards that are used in almost every deck.) i7 7700k, 16GB RAM, GEFORCE 1080, 240GB SSHD, 2TB SSD Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2826-hearthstone-heroes-of-warcraft/#findComment-66028 Share on other sites
Corey the Kiwi 83
I recently started playing this game as well. It is a fun game to just relax and play a few rounds of when you're bored. Always some "YEEHAW" moments when you get the 1 card you need to win the match. I don't want to spend money on the game and I don't want to invest too much time playing the game to unlock everything but definitely worth giving a go in my opinion.
