Baabcat 1,646
I'm thinking of getting a PS4 for Charlie my boy so we can team up on a Destiny, he's level 27 and struggling to progress as he has no friends playing But there's obviously a bit of technical stuff to do to get to the point were we can team up, and I'm usually pretty crap at this sort of stuff. So any help appreciated such as: I'll need to transfer his account other, which I think is just a USB stick, is that right? Will I need to buy another copy of destiny? I got the disc version so I guess I will have to? What about the DLC, can I share that ? Anything else that springs to mind? As I said I'm not good at this, thanks Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2174-2-ps4s/ Share on other sites
Diddums 4,346
You'll need two copies of destiny amd two copies of all the dlc. His info is all serverside, so simply logging in on his new ps4 will sync it all. Baabcat 1,646
That sounds nice and easy, if the most expensive option lol He won't hear anything on line that he doesn't hear me call other drivers on the way to take him to school Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2174-2-ps4s/#findComment-52851 Share on other sites
Madjonny 386
Get the second ps4, log in and re download the dlc with your master account, as if it was going to be your ps4 then just add your sons account and let him play and the dlc should be there for him, dlc and online passes etc are available to all accounts on the same ps4 I'm sure... Palle 491
If PSN works the same for PS4 as it does for PS3, you can download DLC to 3 different consoles. After that, you'll have to deactivate it on one console and the DLC will be deleted before you can download it to another. Baabcat 1,646
Thanks for the tips guys, that's all really helpful. I was seriously a bit worried about splashing out and then not being able to get the whole thing to work.
