Docwagon 856
http://www.cnn.com/2015/01/07/health/alcohol-poisoning-deaths/ You know what surprises me the most out of all those facts? Alabama being the state with the least amount of deaths. Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2123-alcohol-poisoning/ Share on other sites
deterioration 443
It's interesting that the write up includes the information about how areas in which alcohol is a "local option", restricted, or totally illegal, like Alaska, have the largest problems. There's a whole dialog about European nations having less Alcohol related nonsense because alcohol is a part of their everyday life vs. America where you can go get blown to smithereens at 18 but can't drink a beer until 21, and the binge drinkers it produces. Very interesting. Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/2123-alcohol-poisoning/#findComment-51762 Share on other sites

Finally Alabama is lowest on a list and its not IQ or number of branches on a family tree Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." Drifter 851
Places like Alaska have more problems with substance abuse because they are so desolate. Many of the local inuit tribes there live on the verge of poverty and don't have actual 40hr week jobs, live in a village that has no stores or businesses of any kind, and have an over abundance of non productive time on their hands because of the area being so remote. So that is one of the main causes of the alcohol problems in places like Alaska. 18yrs old IMO is too young for someone to drink alcohol. Almost all studies show that your brain is not fully developed until 23-25 yrs old. Adding a substance like alcohol to someone whom is only 18 simply has no upside to it.
