JBR-Kiwi 286 Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 So I truly believe that this is going to be the first CoD where a big killstreak like this is available, and I wont be able to get it MW2 Nukes - Harriers, Chopper gunner, Nuke = Piece of piss MW3 MOAB - Either Assault or Specialist didnt matter which one still fairly easy + running round like Arnie on steroids with every perk available made it a lot of fun despite the issues with the game. BO2 Nuclear medal - Not a killstreak i know but still fairly impressive so deserves a mention. Once I understood the game and spawns a lot more this one was becoming more regular towards the mid/end of BO2 Ghosts KEM - Load up on perks and away you go. Again control the spawns + good map positioning and away you go. This game tho i am completely lost. I havent seen anybody get one in game and ive played a large number of games now. I havent seen anybody get even vaguely close! I cant seem to predict spawns, I cant hear anybody running around (which inevitably means my guy gets fisted on multiple occasions), I am really struggling to get anything going So has anybody got close? However when I was playing it it was really hard to get long streaks going, mainly because of the jumping around, I ended up jumping onto the barrel of someone's weapon without even knowing... It was really hard to get long streaks, but one day I'm sure that magic lobby will come along when your on your game... Maybe it requires fewer kills online but think its the same. Lol the jumping around does me in so much and when i try it my guy end up staring at the ground like "OOOoooo theres a penny" I do think the SBMM is making it difficult to find a decent lobby seeing as everyone in the lobbies i get into are trying their absolute balls off just to go positive. J4MES OX4D 10,034 Posted January 3, 2015 Share Posted January 3, 2015 I'm kinda glad this game isn't easy to get streaks like previous COD's but I can't get over the amount of times you can be screwed over with spawns or getting killed from behind. Momentum is a good mode for streak-building but its also a playlist that can provide some horrific inconsistencies and kick in the teeth moments. I haven't seen one DNA in a match yet but it doesn't feel players are really bothered going for it. There are loads of videos on YouTube showcasing players getting a double DNA bomb but its gameplays like this now that don't even raise an eyebrow these days. I suppose you just gotta keep trying and finding that perfect lobby of useless players and have an incredible amount of luck regarding enemy spawns. Definitely worth checking out the existing DNA videos to see how people are earning them with class setups and in which modes. Oh trust me i fully supprt the whole not making it easy to get streaks, there should be a skill gap in order to sort the good from the bad. The spawns are what get me most of the time. I just cant predict where they may spawn, even if it is way away from me. Take for example the game i was just in KC on retreat. So ive boosted up onto the top of the platform with the half white arch and quickly pick off two people. These two people then proceed to be spawned immediately behind me on the ground at the bottom of the arch. All they had to do was quickly look up and shoot me in the back, and this all occurs within 5secs. They could have been spawned anywhere on the map, and they should of been spawned near their teammates on the other side but no, they were spawned in amongst my team mates and as a result 4 of us went down. Like I say, a lot of these videos being pumped out by 'Pubstompers" are a result of reserve boosting their accounts in order to get into lobbies with people of minimal skill (thanks SBMM...), and as a result people arent impressed. I would rather watch Scump or the MOJ who go ham in lobbies that they havent reserve boosted to get into. My longest streak is 33 but it was using the warbird and the Paladin. You apparently need 30 Kills to get the DNA. The best way to get the the high kills is run with the UAV and system hack + Assists. You can get a people unaware with that combo and if you have a half decent team you can get lots of assists also which keep the streaks going. I've done 4 prestiges so far and I played mostly domination. I have yet to see a DNA bomb.
