Docwagon 856
http://www.gog.com/ Ha! I found this when I was trying to find a version of Sacrifice that I could play on new versions of Windows. This site is fantastic for older PC games. No DRM, the prices are right, and they are already set up to play on Vista, XP, etc. It's Suh-weet if you like older games. Sennex 1,903
We had a thread about this site on the last forum. Not sure why it didn't migrate. That being said, these guys do amazing sales! Sadly, not all of their games work as well as they should though Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." I'm playing the poo out of Sacrifice! Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/1952-gogcom/#findComment-48488 Share on other sites
Sennex 1,903
Yea, I never return games though, I look for ways to fix them. Right now I am saving up for a Windows XP system to play a bunch of games I picked up over the last few years from GOG Did you pick up your freebies when you join them? Hell, do they even do that still? Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." Sennex 1,903
You can't do that through compatibility mode? Not reliably It works great for most office programs, but for games, it never seems to work right Luke 23:34 'And Jesus said, "Father, forgive them, for they don't think it be like it is, but it do." J4MES OX4D 10,041
Some cracking vintage games appearing on GOG of late and plenty on sale. Gonna have a sift though and worry about my wallet later! Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/1952-gogcom/#findComment-49633 Share on other sites
Docwagon 856
I bought the Populous set of 3. I think its the first "god game" that gives you control over the environment but very limited control of the people in the world. J4MES OX4D 10,041
GOG is listing Grim Fandango Remastered for £9.29 for release on 27th. Classic game that deserves a reboot!
