GTA Online invisible car glitch (PS3)

Recommended Posts

So I don't know if anyone here still plays this game but I wanted to share this. Hopefully someone will have an explanation for what's happening, I'm really curious to know how it works.

Yesterday I discovered a glitch to make your car invisible and allows you to drive straight through most objects.

Basically what I did to accomplish this was:

1. Have your spawn setting set to "last location" so you will spawn in the street when you enter a game

2. Sit in a car of choice, get a wanted level and let the cops kill you

3. As soon as you die and see the "wasted" screen, wait 2 seconds and hold the PS button, turn off the console as quickly as you can

4. Next time you start up the game, select online in the loading screen

5. As soon as it loads you should be rolling down the street in a completely invisible car.

You can now drive straight through cars, lamp posts, pedestrians and other players.

When I meet most players like this, they seem to randomly disappear when I get close to them. Their cars just slow down and stop right after they pass me. Some players won't disappear and when I drive through them their cars kind of get stuck to me like but it doesn't slow me down.

I haven't found anything about this particular glitch. I have a few videos of it that I will be uploading soon.

Here's a video.

Can anyone give their guess on what's happening to that player/car at 0:15-0:37 who re-appears at 0:52?

Also, 01:28-01:45? Apparently I killed a guy without even touching him, first and only time it happened.
