TigerBurge 2,375
I really wished I played the Uncharted games. Well the Last of Us too Link to comment https://forevergaming.co.uk/forum/forums/topic/1410-last-of-us-directors-heading-up-uncharted-4/#findComment-35116 Share on other sites
L_C_Scipio 395
I wouldn't be surprised if we get a remastered Uncharted trilogy for PS4, since that seems to be the trend these days. J4MES OX4D 10,060
I played the Uncharted trilogy when I borrowed my mates PS3 and I must admit, just like Halo, it's one of the most overrated games I have ever played. The story and cinematics were good but the gameplay was so fucking bland and boring I don't know how it was so popular. TLOU although I haven't played that; looked much more polished in all areas and if U4 plays like that; then the torture of completing the first three was all worth it. L_C_Scipio 395
The story and cinematics were precisely what made it so popular. The gameplay was very solid; not every game has to come up with something brand new and groundbreaking. JsinOwl 644
Druckman is the man; Uncharted is in good hands, though I'd rather see him developing a brand new IP. I've only played the first Uncharted so far, but I thought it was fantastic. Not every game will please everyone. Just Cal 461
Exactly what Nolan said. The gameplay may not have been groundbreaking but the story and cinematics are amazing. Haven't played TLOU yet but I've heard nothing but good things. Just wondering James, if completing the first 3 was torturous. Why complete them? If I find a game torturous, I won't complete it. I stuck with them for the story and the cinematics mostly. I found the gameplay far too linear and bog-standard though. Didn't think they justified the praise overall although they aren't bad titles by any means. If a game is lacking in the gameplay department for me; regardless of the rest, that's a bit of a put-off for my taste.
