Drifter 851 Posted May 3, 2014 Share Posted May 3, 2014 Got back last night from a couple days steelhead fishing to my cabin on the Au Sable. Rain and high water on the Au Sable made wade fishing pretty difficult Thursday & Friday but still managed to find a few to get into and went 1 for 3 on Steelhead. Lost a big chrome fish yesterday morning that I wish I had another shot at. Also had the watchful eye of a large Eagle on us both days. Also caught so many 4-5lb white suckers that my arm literally is sore from them. Must have landed well over 100 of them darn things over the two days on the water. I could have swore I saw a bald eagle down here too, which is odd around these parts, but I hear they have been sighted alot for some reason. Keep calm and question nothing.
