9/11 one day in America.
Posted

Yeah I watched that, really moving, still seems like yesterday not 20 years, and as you say the response of so many Americans helping their fellow citizens was amazing. I’ve always been awe struck by the bravery of the firemen climbing those towers. Lights shining on that darkest day. Also watched the documentary that followed Bush on that day. Don’t want to get into politics but he almost seemed statesman like when you compare to what goes on now.

Saw them at Wembley last year and they pretty much played that first album all the way. Finished with ‘I am the resurrection’,  was awesome

Actually going to see this guy at an 80s festival in summer. Hopefully, had tickets to see him years ago at something similar and he dropped out due to mental health issues. Replaced by Go West, who are no way a replacement.

Watched Civil War finally the other day. Why is it with Marvel films that you just want to watch more of them when it finishes. Haven't watched Ant Man and it made me want to watch that because of Paul Rudd.

Ant man is really good. I was really sceptical but Charlie wanted to see it and I really enjoyed it

Couple of months back I read a book called 'into thin air'. True story about a disaster on Everest in 1996. Was incredible, one if those few books I could hardly put down. I thought what a great film that would make, and by utter coincidence they have made it

Going to see Everest tonight, can't wait

Seen two films lately,

Pixels (Charlie's birthday treat). Was actually quite fun, not going to win any oscars but easy laughs

And Maze Runner, a low rent hunger games, was ok. Second one in the series is coming out soon. I like stuff like this , as it's about the only genre my entire family will watch together

Somehow Jason, I figured you probably did!

16 On Sennex's list is so true - Peter Jackson must have forgotten that this is a prequel to LOTR, its crazy

Although I still enjoyed the films - 3rd on is great, ie one huge battle for most of 3 hours. Whats not to like about that?
