Yeah I watched that, really moving, still seems like yesterday not 20 years, and as you say the response of so many Americans helping their fellow citizens was amazing. I’ve always been awe struck by the bravery of the firemen climbing those towers. Lights shining on that darkest day. Also watched the documentary that followed Bush on that day. Don’t want to get into politics but he almost seemed statesman like when you compare to what goes on now.
Actually going to see this guy at an 80s festival in summer. Hopefully, had tickets to see him years ago at something similar and he dropped out due to mental health issues. Replaced by Go West, who are no way a replacement.
T2 train spotting sequel. Thought it was great but I loved trainspotting first time out. Definitely don't watch this before you see the first one. Choose life peeps !
Watched Civil War finally the other day. Why is it with Marvel films that you just want to watch more of them when it finishes. Haven't watched Ant Man and it made me want to watch that because of Paul Rudd.
Ant man is really good. I was really sceptical but Charlie wanted to see it and I really enjoyed it
Couple of months back I read a book called 'into thin air'. True story about a disaster on Everest in 1996. Was incredible, one if those few books I could hardly put down. I thought what a great film that would make, and by utter coincidence they have made it
Pixels (Charlie's birthday treat). Was actually quite fun, not going to win any oscars but easy laughs
And Maze Runner, a low rent hunger games, was ok. Second one in the series is coming out soon. I like stuff like this , as it's about the only genre my entire family will watch together
