So that you can play with as many people as you like(that skyrim and the server can handle), with or without the same mods. The mod is just about ready for release, but I've only been able to test it with a friend and myself. I can't really confirm that there's no horrifying problems until I've gotten some more feedback. The test server will clone your character, in your skyrim, when you connect. And relay what you do back to the clone. This is something I used to make sure things work, since none of my other computers can adequately run skyrim. The live server won't spawn any clones, and is what you should use if you're playing with other people. Yes, its name sounds like something you'd take to cure a headache that is also the apocalypse, but this one's dark, dank-with-atmosphere caverns and "mature" leanings make it the Skyrim mod to watch. Luke wrote about Enderal a while back, but it's come a loooooong way since then. The trailer looks damn near professional, and it offers a quick fly-by look at many of Enderal's various areas. In short, this is essentially a whole new game being built in Skyrim, with its own skill system, classes, characters, and locations to match. Here's what developer Sure AI is aiming to create: "One could say that we try to combine the concept of open world gaming with a complex and profound storyline. Furthermore, we try to merge the strengths of various open world games into one RPG. Enderal is a mixture of The Elder Scrolls and Gothic, added up with a multi-faceted and complex story. Enderal comes with a big world filled by tombs, ruins and ancient fortresses and lots of interesting landmarks to explore. We will also add new Features such as experience points, special classes and talents and set-items." Bold claims, but they seem to be doing quite a good job of making a place I really want to explore so far. Take, for example, the Undercity: Kinda nuts, right? It strikes me as more evocative of Metro 2033 than Skyrim—densely populated, people crammed together like rats in a wall, rotten with the stink of desperation. That, in my mind, is a very, very good thing. I want something different from vanilla Skyrim. If I wanted Skyrim again, I'd just play Skyrim again.2 Here are some more promising-looking locations: Those two are a bit more Skyrim-y, but the second, especially, seems a lot harsher. Enderal doesn't have a release date yet, but the developers are obviously making good progress. Here's hoping for something playable sooner rather than later.

So I got Skyrim Legendary Edition as an early gift for my birthday and don't know which kind of character I want. On Xbox 360, I never ever played a game like this, I had no idea what I was doing and my skill trees were fucked up to the max. On the PS3, I think I played a sneaky warrior. Way more enjoyable since I actually stuck with a few select trees. PC, I'm not sure what I want to do. I want to try two handed, but not having a shield worries me. But then I should be wearing heavy armor so it all balances out right? I would also LOVE to try archery but I feel like it's super weak. At least early in the game. I would shoot something with a bow I've picked up and it takes a lot of shots to actually kill something. And what do you do when you're in CQC? I'm not Katniss or anything. Any tips or recommendations? Any mods for Skyrim that you guys suggest? Shoot me a link for it please. I have never played any of the DLC, that's what i'm absolutely looking forward to. I think if I remember correctly there are vampires and stuff. Woo!

Skyrim!! We can use this place to talk about our experiences, share videos or share our character stats. I'm in college right now so I'll give you all a big stat rundown of Calimír later haha. So what routes did you go down? Species, questlines, distinct weapons and armour, etc, etc. That's the kind of stuff I want to see in here. Also, share what NOT to do in Tamriel. I fucked up quite a few towns and villages in my second characters lifetime and regret it now. Kids tell me I'm mean, I can't build a mansion in Falkreath because I slaughtered the Jarl's housecarl.
