  1. I had a similar setup going and found that using shaders 1.21.7 gave a big improvement in lighting without hitting performance too hard. It made the outpost feel way more alive during day and night cycles. If your pack is stable with it, it’s worth throwing in to see how it changes the look.
  2. I’ve been messing around with some visual tweaks and ended up using https://minecraftshader.com/complementary-shaders/ — makes a huge difference without killing performance. The lighting looks way more natural, especially during sunrise and sunset, and it’s been stable with the current mod setup too. Might be worth trying if you’re after smoother visuals without loading your system too much.
