Other than Battlefield or CoD, I tend to judge games based on what my son thinks. He wasn't really into Destiny at first, he would have rather watched me kill the "My little ponies" in Diablo 3 instead of running strikes. That being said, he was there when I started playing TTK, and immediately went nuts. He has been my shadow in the game for the last two nights, and I let him choose what mission I run. He keeps wanting me to run the starting mission on Phobos. It has really been awesome to see him soak up the dialogue and visuals, and he even started incorporating parts of it into his own stories. For my son, Bungie really nailed it with the Dimensional rifts. My son loves reading about Dark Energy and the Multiverse Theory, and the game now really plays up to that. So that being said, I have to thank Bungie for making a better game than what we had.

Oh, what's that I hear? MONTE FUCKING CARLO. Or, say you have a Cauterize build so that all your ability kills regen your health. Maybe you fucked up and didn't get a kill with Sunstrike, and want its cooldown recharged. Monsieur Monte Carlo. Defender: No Backup Plans, Relentless, Unbreakable. Your Force Barrier lasts for your entire fucking cooldown, and constantly regenerates. If your regular shield takes damage with this build, jump off a cliff, because you have infinite Force Barrier. But maybe you don't have enough Strength to max out your cooldown. Maybe some Taken asshole appears and fucks your shield up. Damn you really need Disintegrate back now. Well, you could get on your knees and pray to the Traveler or Vishnu or some shit like that or just hold the trigger down on motherfucking Monte Carlo. Stormcaller: Put on Claws of Ahamkara for two melee charges, and then spec Thunderstrike for increased range, and every Guardian will cry crocodile tears and run to their fat momma whenever you electrofuck them to death from 10 feet away. That bladed, shimmering, iPhone-looking bladegun helps you do this even fucking more. Or forget that dumb increased range. You know what you want? As many voltslaps as possible. Well then, Rising Storm, Feedback, Perpetual Charge. Your Thunderstrike will charge your Super AND ITSELF. Your grenades will charge it too. And if some stupid assclown decides to sucker punch you, you automatically get a Thunderstrike charge back with MOAR POWAH to smack his silly ass. Icing on the cake? MONTEEEEEEE CARRRRRLOOOOOOO Nightstalker: Hot damn, your Smoke is better than your grenades a bunch of the time. Envenomed and Lockdown is worse than snorting a port-a-john's shitwater. Or maybe you use Snare to just prank anybody coming down that fucking hallway. Or maybe you like being invisible and groping asses with Vanish in Smoke. You can even pass that on to your dudebros before they go into the wild and grab some hot Ogre booty. You know what's even more awesome? Dying Light was a great idea, but the movement in it was weird and started giving me headaches (I had the same problem in Halo Reach oddly enough) Silent Hill is amazing, I wish I still owned them. For me though, few things beat out the original Resident Evil on PS1.
