Puffyhulksword 1
I'm not even kidding. My 1080ti was running 55c at idle, hitting 90c in demanding games. I was playing Microsoft Flight Simulator and my GPU fans were louder then my plane engines.Anyway. I repasted today. I went from 55c > 25c at idle, and 90c > 60c in MSFS.It's worth it. Do it, now!If you're unsure what to do.-Buy a tube of thermal paste, the smallest one will do just fine, but you might want to spend 2 bucks extra to buy the better brands. Also buy some isopropyl alcohol if you don't have that, it makes cleaning it so much easier.-Follow the steps, unscrew the screws, remove old paste, put on new paste, put back the screws. That's all! You'll be gaming a lot cooler / quieter today! It's really really worth it.
