So it's looking like AMD hasn't really given us gamers something we would drool over but it's nice for users who can actually utilize these cores; you're looking at about a 12% boost for around the same price. CAD or Solidworks users should be happy.

What I am more happy about or looking forward to is that competition generally does benefit the consumer. (RX 460, or 480 can't remember lead to the GeForce 1060's release. This could also significantly lower the price of Intel's chips since Ryzen 7 1700X costs: $399 vs. Intel’s $1,089 Core i7-6900K.

I already know Pat is going to post here about Intel, I can feel it. But either way this would not sway me in anyway to start using AMD products of NVIDIA or Intel. Also to chime in will be Diddum's hate for AMD.
