I'm finally starting to really customize Sanctuary but hell I have no idea what I'm doing when it comes to power.

So you build a generator, then a power pylon to connect to the generator with a wire? Then you put conduits on the sides of houses to power the house?

Yep but also, power is transfered "Kinetically" so if a wall is touching a wall with power, then it also has power, for a limit of one space. (if that makes sense)

 

I am uploading a bunch of pics of my house in Sanctuary. I was almost done with I hit an Item cap.

I scrapped my two floor shack and just used one of the buildings already up for beds. It annoys me I can't put a floor to match the foundation...

I had that problem at first

 

now I put the wooden Foundation down (Its under wooden floors, it is a huge wood block)

It is built on a foundation right at the first corner street in Sanctuary. I need to clear out more debris so I can finish decorating.

I spent so much time clearing the entire settlement of debris, there's not a single thing to pick up now. Granted I'm still level 6.

Oh wow, yea, I hit level 28 a few minutes ago.

 

Let me know if wha tI said about Power makes sense or not. I can take some close up pics of my generator and wiring if you want.
