A spin off from what we've doing over recent months (or should I say @Greboth and @phil bottle a lot more than me!) is rather doing just time trials, selecting the weekly race, having a few practice/qualifying laps and then having a 11 lap race. Phil took me on a spin last night and it was seriously good fun, much different to our Friday night banter, smash everyone in sight, games. I think it also helps you understand more about the cars strengths/weaknesses as well as the track layout which is a massive factor if we are turning it into a race. There were minor penalties on too for cutting corners or going ignoring the speed limit which really did work when i thought initially it wouldn't. I'm thinking we should make this into a little mini series. GT Sport is £12.99 on Amazon next day delivery now and anyone that loves racing games is a fool not to own the game already. @Greboth @G_dub52 @JBR-Kiwi what do you reckon?

Specific question for the original FGers thats been here for an age. What were all the clan names that people played under? Would love to know who was in which one as I'm looking at getting a big CoD night, like we usually do but it would be awesome to get a few 6v6 hilarious gunfights going against each other for old times sake! I think there was T2k - Tendency 2 Kill, Alliance? and another one. FPSHQ or something like that. Just be good to remember who was in which one and maybe some internal fun connecting with old FGers as well as making some new FGer teams up too.

A great start on last night with our very first group up, even better to hear the sultry, sexy voice of Tommy @BO7H B4RRELS ! Been far too long dude. @phil bottle, Tommy, @Diddums and myself (making you proud their, Dayvide 😜) rocked up into the SepticFalcon server to start our lives and made our way to Elektro to group up. After dying once from a horde of Zombie and running non-stop for 47 miles, I met Tommy and Didds in the Fire Station where a group of Zombies took a liking to Didds' footsteps too much and before we knew it we had a whole horde running after us! And they don't just run, they Usain Bolt it straight after everyone for miles. Didds managed to breakaway from the pack to safety but the one person that was kitted out to the max with the all the arsenal you need in a dog fight was Tommy...and he got surrounded by Zombie after Zombie in his Firefighter jacket, gas mask and 7 guns although he could only fire his Shotgun a few times before he was they destroyed him. I managed to get to a nearby house and shut the door, to eventually go get all of Tommy's stuff - thanks for being so caring dude 😎 and we all decided to get out to push North where Philly was chilling, smoking a Hamlet around the nearest village Water Pump. By that point i'd bled that much from the Zombies my screen was lack and white for most of the night, and then Didds ended up the same after another fight broke out. Blood is seriously annoying as it doesn't regen fast, so I think we need some Blood Bags ASAP. A few house searches and a trip to nearby towns - whilst i get lost (twice) - got us us some half decent weapons but by the time we logged off we likely needed a little more food before settling on a base to make our own. Didds was starving for some Baked Beans. Tommy passed out from all the heroics of running so far and bleeding out 😁 but managed to save it before he passed for the 73rd time. A huge map and lots to explore, here's hoping the next adventures including making a base camp and finding a hospital to get all the Blood Bags you could possibly need for daily blood transfusions from the sharp nails these Zombies have. I wish their mum would've told them to cut them regularly. GGFG guys.

I asked a while back via a poll to try and work out best days to do raids but its difficult as we all can do so many different days and it really didn't matter what we ended up picking...so we din't do anything! So lets start using Thursdays for now as a start off point. Btw, this isn't saying we won't do raids on other days because this day won't suit all. However, to start getting back into the game and making sure we have a regular bunch of people around to learn raids more regularly in turn will mean we can confidently try and complete more raids on other days like over the weekend, etc. I'm thinking we try this via events on the Event Calendar and we try and focus on one type of raid each week. It'll give time to people to realise which one we're trying out and get in the mindset to do their best for that particular raid. If people can't make it or request other times, lets help them and put up an event so we can see if we can get 6 people around. There's been a number of new FGers join recently on Destiny and I know some old folk are starting to get back into it, so happily share what your thoughts are below on what stuff you'd like to try, whens best for you, etc. I genuinely believe if we knew it 'raid night' on a set day like Thursday we can be soon getting at 1-2 teams being able to jump in and help each other. If it doesn't work, then we can always keep trying other ways to get us playing the fun stuff together. Consistency for us all to get behind an idea is the key to us all having loads of fun and completing all the things we'd like to do so please consider getting behind events and whatever we put up. Its been a while since I did an FG update. So bear with (with who? where is he! I can't see it!? ffs, Lee) I'm sure everyone's days are blending into one these days. 2020 has been one of those years for the history books and we could've said that in March, let alone December which is still just over 5 months away. Isolation has been a double-edged sword in some respect; its been great to see so many chances to spend more time with your immediate family at home but what comes with permanent home comforts is the lethargic lack of routine, loneliness, depression, anxiety which we've also seen impact so many of us. I imagine you all can relate to some degree? For a week or two I've wanted to write something but I've hesitated because I know I have to be ready to 'Walk the Walk' not just 'Talk the Talk' when I really want to make the most of this place for everyone and makes sense to pick up the things we've talked about over the past few years. Who knows if i'm ready, but i'm willing to give it my best shot and there's no better time to dust ourselves off in the midst of some soul searching in isolation. It'd be ace to start creating some of that Legacy i talked about in the article I did back in January. I think the best way to keep everyone in the loop is being open and letting you know a few pressing items I want to see progress with over the coming weeks and months - and I would love to get as many of you involved which I'm working on ways to get to that. Please keep reading! Merchandise Shop - this requires me to purchase and install a whole new section for FG which i'm hoping you'll all enjoy FG Points/Gamerscore - A way to have a meaningful way that gives everyone here an added bonus for being around FG where possible Creating new sections New entire page spaces for games - we can make as many as we'd like providing we can maintain support New homepage - to remind everyone of everything we do. We aren't just a Forum any more, we are far more awesome than that Expanding existing areas Guides & Tips section - the fairly new section needs some love and there's some amazing people here that do great info tips for you all that can easily get lost Re-engaging with old FGers - life's too short to miss everyone and its great seeing so many faces come back, lets do things to get other ones back too. For me its the case of, Why Not, you have nothing to lose seeing old faces and friends. Open our doors to new FGers - we should make more people aware of what we do best - they can have a home here and we can all help them in whatever problems they have. The PPR section just shows how much we have all done to help each other and long may that continue. Regular gaming nights schedule - to help people to keep themselves free, get involved and most importantly make sure the right game is updated and downloaded! Finding more ways to help others Picking up and driving some real charity fundraisers starting with charity streams Try to get a regular pattern on sending out Feel Good Fund parcels to caring FGers I'd hope you all agree whilst there's more we can always find to do, most importantly this is a ton to look forward to as a group/family. Other posts to follow but if you have any burning thoughts please shout up below - a poll will go alongside this post to ask absolutely anyone here if they want to get involved in any specific stuff in the coming weeks and months. Thought it would be good to have a thread with our finest and most memorable days on The Hunt on our FG adventures, win or lose! I'll start it off with possibly the best night i've ever had on this on Sunday night just gone. 4 wins in a row. Yes, 4. And they weren't all just smash and grab, no one left on the server jobs either. First one was with @MrBiron as a 2 player squad where we managed to kill the boss (I believe it was the Assassin?) with an Axe and decided to take the long way around some Hunters to the furthest away extraction for the win. Next one was then with Marc @J&B and Biron although he had to leave half way through because of his inabilities to close his Fridge door 🙈. We picked up all the clues for the Spider but then realised that a team were starting to banish the boss, so we looped around to get the 3 clues for the Butcher. It was the furthest away from the extraction but we carried on. Weirdly, when we got to the Butcher it was already dead! Sounds like the other team killed it and carried on to get the other bounty. Seeing that we got it, they fecked off leaving us to get a ton of XP and extract the bounty successfully! @Nutcuttlit then jumped on with Marc and me to complete what I can only describe as an awesome 2 rounds of Hunting. It may have felt even better for me because I took out a bunch of Hunters, muiltiple teams at once whilst we were all converging on the first boss. We ended up killing the remaining Hunter squad which bagged us the first Gauntlet of the night! Then came a much more defending round whereby we got the first Spider boss quickly and moved on to the second Assassin boss when teams started to pull in close to us. Once we downed it we were surrounded by at least 2 squads of players, trying to grab some loot. Nutty set the traps, Marc had pulled out to watch and cover us from a distance and whilst Nutty covered the larger entrance, I hung over the bounty with remaining Dark Sight. A quick squeeze of it and you could 3 Hunters imminently approaching. Then all hell broker loose. 2 Hunters entered right in front of me. The Nagant silenced pistol downed them after hitting some traps along the way. Then 3 Hunters came from multiple sources. Nutty chucked a bomb to down one but then got exploded by a Revelli shotgun or something like that which was pretty powerful. Whilst he was getting shot I took down a Hunter next to an adjacent door and then tried to come to Nutty's aide. The guy was trying to hide and shoot me so I managed to crouch around and take him out with a few shots to resurrect Nuttscratcher to end the massacre. XP farmed the nearby towns blasting everything away to end with back to back Gauntlet runs and 4 successful extractions in a row. I don't think i've took that many Hunters out and grabbed that many bounties all in one night before. Everything just fell into place. Great callouts, great teamwork and such a rewarding night!
