Consoles/Handhelds: PS3 connected to 32" TV. PS4 & X360 setup on my PC monitor. PS Vita and GameGear.   PC: Windows 10 16GB DDR3 i7 4790K GTX 980

I took a picture of my setup and remembered this thread and as there' been some changes since the above (and it's tidy) I thought I'd update.   PC New bits; PSU: Corsair RMx850W

Nice one @Shucker so sweet to have a projector, I have borrowed one from work occasionally.

I'll add photos to my set up when the light is a bit better but I'll start with the specs etc.

Console

I still have my Xbox 360 hooked up, but to the TV in the bedroom and rarely use it now even for Netflix etc as it's only 720p. I have Red Read Redemption (not the new one of course) installed and that game still looks great now.

PS4 (1TB) is hooked up to a 55 inch 4K Samsung TV in the 'living room' . My Steam device is also hooked up this TV. Thinking of replacing the PS4 with a Pro, as there's a lot more UHD content available online these days.

PC

PC is also in the living room, sitting in the corner by the window.

CPU: Intel i7 8700k

GPU: Nvidia MSI GTX 1080ti

Mobo: Asus ROG Strix Z390

RAM: Kingston HyperX Predator 3200 16GB

Storage: Samsung 970 Evo Plus (1TB), 850 EVO (500GB), 840 (250GB). The first is M.2, the rest are standard SSDs.

Cooling: Corsair H100i Pro

Power: Corsair RM1000x

Headset: Astro A50s

Keyboard: Corsair K95 Platinum RGB Cherry MX

Mouse: Logitech G400

I replaced most of my PC a couple of months ago and all that's left from the original is the mouse and 840 SSD (both from 2012). Though the GPU is from around November.

Nice idea for a thread, I’ll post a pic tomorrow as it’s too dark now.

Consoles

PS4 - An OG 500Gb.  A hdd drive upgrade is still on the list but I kinda feel if I made it this long then I can make it until the PS5.

Xbox 360 - It’s still plugged in as I wanted to finish a few games when I got the PS4 but never did.

Both are hooked in to my 43” 4k LG TV.

PC

CPU: AMD Ryzen 2700x

Cooler: Noctua NH-D15

MoBo: ASUS ROG X470 Crosshair VII

RAM: 32Gb (4 x 8Gb) 8 Pack Team group

GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 Superclocked ACX3

PSU: 750W EVGA (Can’t remember model)

Drives: 250Gb NVMe for OS

500 Gb SSD Scratch disk

1Tb 7200rpm for games

2 2Tb 5400rpm for everything else

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro

Monitor: 27” IPS 1440p Dell U2715H

Mouse: Logtich G503

Keybord: Coolermaster Pro L with cherry brown switches and white leds.

Accessories;

Astro Mixamp with Sennheiser PC360 headset (used on console and PC)

Blue Yeti USB microphone (only on PC)

Sennheiser Momentum 1.0 over ear earphones (only on PC)

Xbox One controller for PC

Elgato Hd60 capture card

XP Pen 15.6” Pro graphics tablet

Logitech G27 wheel

Logitech 5.1 surround sound (plugged in to PC)

Edit:

In taking the photo I also realised I have a pair of Sennheiser IEM's too because can you ever have too many earphones? 😆

Also you'll have to excuse the mess, I'm in the middle* of sorting a load of stuff out hence the dvd's and games being everywhere, pops on the floor, boxes of stuff reflected in the tv.  (*by middle I mean I got halfway through sorting out and moved on to doing other things.  I'll finish one day....maybe 😆 )

Hey @Greboth what does the Mixamp do? Would it mix multiple sources? (e.g. mix PS4 audio with PC Discord)

It does mix multiple sources.  They’re designed for consoles so mix game sound and voice chat.  Obviously being a mixer it means you can choose anything from 100% game sound to 100% voice chat.

I’m not up on all the various versions of mixamps but with mine, when I plug the usb in to my PC it acts simply as a usb headset and I don’t get the ability to mix pc chat and pc game volume.  So I have been in a ps4 party chat while playing a pc game and having both coming through my headset.  By that I would assume that yes you could have ps4 audio mixed with pc discord.  I’d also assume as the chat would be usb and ps4 would be optical then the mixer would work so you could balance the channels.

I presume this would work for all the mixamps as they work on the same principle.  However I am using an old mixamp so quite how the newer ones work I don’t know.

Okay, that's pretty cool. I'd likely want to do both: Discord with PS4 and PS4 chat while on PC

Gonna fig deeper into this. Thanks!!

I took a picture of my setup and remembered this thread and as there' been some changes since the above (and it's tidy) I thought I'd update.

PC

New bits;

PSU: Corsair RMx850W

GPU: INNO3D RTX2080

1Tb NVME for OS

The rest is the same as above.

Also gone is my Logitech wheel and replaced by a full Fanatec set up mounted on a Sim Lab GT1-Evo cockpit with my old 32" LG TV.  I also recently received my Index so lots of VR racing in the future too.

And finally, can't forget the most important part, the desk fan; oh the desk fan has been my best friend while working at home over summer.

Thats an awesome setup Greebs, so envious of the wheel, race frame combo you got going.  Your cable management has also moved quite abit mate since the earlier shot in this thread.

I've only just realised this is an updated thread of a previous one as I seem to have missed my old setup on here! I'll take some pictures of my newer one as it shows how i've got older and more into proper gaming comfort over the years at FG!🤣

No, that’s just because I took the photo after having moved everything back in after decorating so haven’t had time to make a mess yet 🤣

Whenever it comes time to change / upgrade stuff like my headset, keyboard, mouse etc I’ll definitely be going wirless.
