  1. Hey guys, As most of you are aware, I’m fairly new to FG. Been browsing the site and came across some tournaments I’d love to get involved in. The only issue is that I’ve got no clue on how to set up a team or join the tournaments. Could someone please comment a guide for me or any others to be able to follow. Thank you!
  2. Ok for those of you new to the game and needing a little bit of help with game mechanics I thought I'd break down my favourite role. . . The tank. First and foremost this is not your typical mmo, there is no threat level for which to hold agro it is done by using taunting skills or certain weapons. Most taunting skills have a timer of 15 seconds this does not mean reapply after this time though YOU MUST do it again between 8-12 seconds. Too often you lose agro too late you lose it aswell so keep an eye on your timers. Primarily the tanks role is "do everything" you are the squads CC and damage mitigation machine. Once you get used to the games mechanics with bosses and range of allied buffs and enemy debuffs you can reach god tier status. My current build holds agro, does CC and chucks out AoE damage and heals. My health pool and resistance is still to be buffed but I take less damage when resing allies and can go full God mode because of my vamp ult. The tank is best practised stage by stage, firstly work on agro and facing enemies away from your team, then stack debuffs. If your being overwhelmed by aids your doing your job correctly. When in the centre of huge mob use a AoE stun or immobilizer that offers a synergy to provide a room broom effect. Remember you can get skills that buff your party but also heal you aswell, the healer will thank you for this as less babysitting will be required and they can focus on the DPS to keep them chucking out damage. You are the first and the last line of defense, you control the room and take everything on the chin do not be tempted to start attacking with lights constantly just weave in the odd heavy attack to regain resources between buffs/debuffs don't let your role slip away from you and your squad will slap most content right in the tits.
  3. So for a complete noob where do I start with this? A good start would be basic controls and first things to learn / first 10 things in Minecraft to do would help me out so I can understand how to do the basics before I even attempt on picking a zone for myself.

  5. So years ago I found a user on Reddit that posted guides on how to make the most out of your builds. This guy(gal? idk) made guides that were stupid simple for me to understand, and most people on reddit.com/r/detailcraft raved about them. Here is a list of all of them. I hope you all find them as useful as I do.
  6. Be sure to pick up the Wrath of the Machine Quest from Shiro-4 beforehand. Vosik, the Archpriest (Part 1) Kill the Voltage Eater as soon as possible. Someone needs to pick up 4 stacks of Voltage and run to a Foundry Spinner. After enough stacks of Voltage in a Foundry Spinner, it will produce SIVA charges. Throw the SIVA charges at Vosik; they deal massive damage. Once his shield is down, and there’s no more SIVA charges to throw, deal as much damage as possible with regular weapons. Vosik, the Archpriest (Part 2) Vosik is immune to regular weapons until his shield is down. Take his shield down by throwing SIVA charges – throw all 3 at the same time for extra damage. Don’t hold on to them too long or they will disappear. Shortly after throwing the SIVA charges simultaneously, there will be a monitor to the left or right of Vosik that lights up – shoot this immediately until it blows up. Once Vosik’s shield is down, 2 more SIVA charges will spawn in the middle. Throw these as soon as possible, and then prepare to hide. When the “SIVA Density Critical” message appears, find the orange illuminated room on the far left or right side. Everyone needs to be in this room to avoid dying. When everyone is in the room, shoot the lock so that the shield activates. Siege Engine Take out both of the Engine’s turrets, and then the exposed area in the middle. Once the exposed area has been destroyed, you’ll be able to climb atop the Siege Engine. Stay on top of it until it breaks through the wall. A few seconds after breaking through, run to the Engine pieces on the opposite side. Each piece can only be held for 9 seconds before being dropped. Someone else will need to pick it up after 9 seconds of carrying. You will become “Exhausted” after carrying it, and won’t be able to pick up an Engine piece again until Exhaustion ends. Once you get close enough to the Siege Engine, Meksis will be atop of it, and needs to be killed to continue. Continue to rotate the Siege Engine pieces throughout your team and deliver them in the appropriate place. Aksis, Archon Prime (Part 1) Split into teams of two. 2 people should each try to cover the left, middle, and right sides. Kill the Captains holding the cannons; 1 person from each group should equip the cannon. Servitors will spawn in after killing the Captains, and they need to be taken down with the corresponding cannon. Hold the charge to kill them in 1-shot. If you drop a cannon, you won’t be able to pick up a SIVA charge for 30 seconds. Once the Servitors are down, the person that’s not holding the cannon needs to pick up the SIVA charge and throw it at a highlighted SIVA cluster near the boss. After each Servitor is down, and all SIVA charges have been thrown, Aksis will spawn Shanks that need to be eliminated. These steps are then repeated, but after each stage of Shanks, more Servitors will spawn and more SIVA charges will need to be thrown. Aksis, Archon Prime (Part 2) Aksis will be immune until all 3 SIVA clusters are thrown at him. Scorch/Shock/Null Captains will spawn 1 minute after the encounter begins. Kill them and pick up their cannons. Whoever picks up the cannons will need to take out the respective Servitor. 2 people should be on the left, 2 in the middle, and 2 on the right side. The people without the cannons should pick up the SIVA charge left behind by the Servitor and throw them at Aksis. After all 3 SIVA charges are thrown at Aksis, he will teleport to a random location. Immediately have 1 Empowered person jump on the red exposed area. After the Empowered person stuns Aksis, you will have a few seconds to deal as much damage as possible. The person who’s Empowered will vary, so try to have 1 on each side of arena so you don’t miss the stun opportunity. You will have 3 chances to stun and damage Aksis before he becomes immune again. After the third stun/damage phase, Aksis will teleport back to the center and become immune. At this point, everyone needs to jump on 1 of the pillars of light to be protected from the ” Critical SIVA Density” All 6 people should be on the same pillar. Once the Captains spawn in, repeat the steps above.
  7. This new series has been created to facilitate the gameplay, metagame, and strategy discussion that often gets buried or lost in the abundance of others posts that flood this sub. The goal of this series is to not only give new players a primer on a specific map, but also for midlevel or competitive players a chance to share the knowledge that they have accrued in their experiences and maybe let people know something that they did not know before. Today's map is House. Iceycat's House Tips & Tricks Serenity17 House Guide House Wiki The community has outlined a couple of things that they want to converse about with every map, but feel free to branch out should you feel a piece of information warrants its own discussion. Overall map and team strategies for attacking & defending. Secret areas, kill holes, and other techniques that can be used on the map. The best operators to use on the map and different abilities that work & don't work with this map. What strategies have you adopted while playing this map? What is something that a new player should know when playing this map, or what is something you know that would help a veteran player take that next step? Does the map offer an unfair advantages to attackers or defenders? Will Epi ever give us a release date for Bartlett University? What is your overall opinion of this map?

  9. I am a huge visual learner and these helped me with the fight. I had these bookmarked when they were posted and I never put them on here (I'm sorry!). Good resource to have for people to read up on the fight for Oryx (Credit to /u/Taux). There's obviously a little more to the fights than these diagrams but it's pretty much all you need to know. Take note of numbering the platforms- some pick up groups call platform 4 & 3 "front left" and "front right." There's no mention of the blight bombs, stealing the knight's essence etc. Preparation. Phase 1- Starting the fight. Phase 2- Platforms & Damaging Oryx Phase 3- Running from explosions. Phase 4- Arena Bubble & teleporting. There's no map for the daughter's of oryx encounter but there is a blank map above. I will number it accordingly if you guys want to have me make a map for that fight so you know where to go for burn phases. Hope these help!
