It's not a good thing if the game will put you in a lobby where you have a bad ping just so you're playing with people of the same skill. Ping should be the number one priority for matchmaking. It should be ping>skill not skill>ping.

Ping should always be the most important thing regardless of SBMM and other implementations. Nobody enjoys lag, and if you do your a straight up Psycho lol! I think SBMM definitely needs toned down a little bit for sure. Everyone is punished by it on all skill levels. From my experience I have good games, bad games, average games sure that's fine. It's how some of the matchmaking and team balancing equates that makes it tough. It's hard to level guns up and do challenges for some of the guns when everyone is sweating with Diamond 74u's. If your not using meta guns you will get shat on in some lobbies. I don't like using a gun when I already have gold/diamond. I enjoy progression of the next gun. I've been in matches where 3 separate enemies have dropped harps and your team are getting smashed. Your the only one on the OBJ. Your not doing that bad, but it's a struggle to carry the team when at least 2-3 enemies are actually better than you are and they are using the meta guns.

You will have to play your games from my house dude lol I don't mind 1 or 2 games a week to be fair. I think 2 would be better so we all get a little more game time in but if people can only do 1 game then its all gravy 🤙

There's a special magic when you're deep in a cave system, and your flares finally die down. Just you, a gunner, and your buddy, an engineer, frantically finishing off some pipes going to a pump. The blackness is lit only by the red glare of the searchlights on your engineer's sentry guns, swinging over the empty tunnel ahead. Nothing. Then a noise, and the searchlight swings back, revealing a horde of alien bugs crawling on the walls and ceiling towards the two hapless dwarves in their territory. "Rock and stone", you mutter under your breath as your minigun starts to spool up. -------- Deep Rock Galactic is a team based shooter/survival game featuring dwarves in space. A game where you go America on alien biomes to pump out a load of liquid ore. A game where everyone frantically tries runs rings around a massive beastly boss that is very angry at you. A game where you can drink beer and dance during downtime in between missions. A game where, sometimes, you might just have to leave people behind to the alien hordes. I picked this up last week and quite honestly, I did not expect to like it (or play it) as much as I have. It's a fantastically well done game, from the ambiance of pooting a flare through a massive cavern to reveal aliens and/or minerals in the moving pool of light, to the synergy between classes and their abillities but yet still balanced enough that you could go ham with a team full of gunners and still get the job done. There are four classes in Deep Rock; Gunner, Engineer, Scout and Digger. There's miniguns, flamethrowers, slow time grenades, zipline launchers, platform launchers, sticky flares, and tons more. Certain classes and equipment can complement others, such as the Engineer with the platform launcher and the Gunner with the zipline launcher if there was a huge chasm to traverse. There's perks to unlock to use across your classes, equipment to unlock specific to classes, clothes and beards (literally) to unlock; plenty to keep you going! Also the beards have physics. -------- Deep Rock Galactic is 35% off at the time of writing, until Sunday 14th!

This was one of the first games I got back when I received my FG gaming PC back in the day. I still haven't finished it. Got pretty far, lost my save, and just haven't' pushed through to get back on it.

Accoring to Xclusive Ace the SBMM in this game can affect your ping now as it prioritises skill over everything else. In MW2019 your ping would be most important but not any more.

Pretty much, the AUG and FFAR are the fastest time to kill atm. The M16 is solid too, less damage than the AUG slightly but I prefer the recoil pattern

There is a few lads at work that play Warzone, they all swear by the Kar and the FFAR. The FFAR in particular surprises me as it's underwhelming since they butchered it after launch in MP retrospectively.
