  1. Good races last night, though I think we'll stick Fuji in the 'never again' pile๐Ÿ™‚ Nice to see @GazzaGarrattenjoying g his new wheel and promoting its benefits to one and all๐Ÿค”๐Ÿ˜… @LordBaguette quitting a race is going to get a meme at this rate. Nice start by @crispymorgan And @techno being the nemesis of @Grebothwas funny. I had altercations with @Lurch and @Shucker but only because their pace secretly worries me๐Ÿ˜ข @slamminbones smashing Blue Moon surely elicited a nose bleed. There's more to add but I gotta go๐Ÿ™‚

  3. Really enjoyed the last race was first for the best part of the race but @JBR-Kiwi and @Greboth passed me but still managed to hold off @Mikepjbell to hold on to 3rd for my first podium.

I watched a few videos last night and I can see how it would be fun, but I just don't think it's my thing. I may hang onto it and see what becomes of it since it's still early access. I heard the developers had 3-5 players in mind when creating it, so I doubt I'll really get into it much. I haven't really been a social gamer in quite some time, probably since CoD / Destiny 1 days. I'm around people all day at work and then at home with my family. As an introvert, games are my time to have some me time. I appreciate the feedback fellas.

  5. Looking at @GazzaGarratt most recent topic about the reveal of Battlefield 6 coming soon.... A few of us thought it would be great to start investing a little time into the current title. Let's face it, BV wasn't at its peak when it first came out with some horrible glitches, horrible wait time on matchmaking etc but that has all been fixed now and honestly makes for a fantastic multilayer game which is very much based on choosing the right load out for your character, whether it be, Assault, Medic, Support or Recon, all each have their perks to help out the team. I've spoken with Cal and he says a few are up for a game tonight, Ste definitely, Maybe Marc and Aaron, also spoken with James and Jordie who might be up for it so we could possibly have 7, if anyone else would be interested In joining us, I would definitely suggest purchasing EA Play as it is only ยฃ3.99 a month and you got a fantastic amount of games, such as BV, Battlefront 2, Titanfall 2 (Another we might be playing soon) NHL, Fifa, UFC and so much more. In my opinion it's definitely worth the price unlike PS Now which is definitely overpriced at ยฃ8 a month and not much on their. If you guys are up for it, we will be joining the main FG chat later tonight so tag along if interested, cheers guys ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ‘

  6. Nice one @slamminbones for your first podium. I was desperate to try and catch up and getting punted about a bit early in the race but just ran out of laps. Felt like I had some good racing again last night and hitting the podiums which is great. Really enjoyed the racing with Kiwi and starting to try and stick my elbows out a bit more to try and win places back. We've still got some new racers so it's reasonable to assume that people will be ploughing through a pile of cars in first corner/s. It takes a bit of time to understand the difference in stopping times against variables such as drag reduction and tire wear. It's great to see everyone picking up speed though and providing some competition throughout the field. I'm still really enjoying the reverse grids because it creates a good and different dynamic to the second and third races and provides I think more entertainment and challenges for everyone, and should hopefully help to bring all the new racers up to speed a bit quicker as they'll do more defending. Great to see so many people turning up as well!!

Fellow extreme introvert here! So, I don't do MMORPGs and such, typically. My job entails me to be courteous, kind, pleasant, polite, firm when needed, etc. to basically everyone. I don't like people, in general. However, I know that when I have a group that I actually feel "safe" and good with, it's okay for me. I actually find myself enjoying my time with FGers and not draining. However, even in Valheim, I did wander off by myself to do my own thing, which happens to be exploring. It's nice to get back to a camp and see other people... or yell for help if I'm nearby and being chased by a mob of orcs/goblins/whatever. Definitely feel you on the graphics. I am a graphics snob. But, this works? That said, no harm in returning the game! I've bought/downloaded a handful of games that I thoroughly regret and did not bother to return. Not all games are going to do it for everyone!

    GT Sport - FG Races

I must have been the only person to actually enjoy Fuji!! ๐Ÿ˜‚ Really good close races all evening with everybody and itโ€™s showing just far everybody has come as now there is close racing all the way through the grid and lap times are relatively close

    GT Sport - FG Races

Had a good laugh even though the racing was crap, sorry mine was crap. As @phil bottlesaid Fuji is awful, Monza could have been better but 3 spins put paid to that, odd as I'd never spun off till the race itself. Really enjoyed the last race all in mx5 tourings, a nice little battle going on at the rear of the pack and a nice comment from Phil was much appreciated ๐Ÿ˜, by far the best and most interesting race of the night. When I can join and try again is purely down to work.

  11. It twas a great night again for sure. I persisted with the wheel as you guys said its how to get better at it. It started better than I expected but then my internet was abit dodgy to the extent that the DNS issues I was having I found out is a cause for the Pit Stop glitch and the fixed car at the start. Shame as that race felt it was going to be good in practice. Monza went really well for 4 laps, even with James' @Lurch car sideways in front of me! Problem with the wheel for me is when you do get a large mistake happen, it completely wrecks your race as I'm more akin to quickly sorting it with a controller. Need to understand more how to reset when fully facing a barrier or oversteer sends you off in a spin. Pressing options may help but there should be quicker options. We'll see if i can find more time around for practicing with it. Eventually it would be easier to have a fold up race seat so it could bolt on that and i can put it away quickly afterwards. Great to see some performances out there though from some people that usually feel they've had a shite week. I know I bang on about not quitting but a few people could've ended up high up in the final standings if they hadn't. Matt as a prime example jumped up 6 places after crashing and being last. I think this game hurts people a lot more internally than I first thought!

Not every game is for everyone but it's so much more fun with friends watching them getting fucked by little gobos of chopping trees down on them and killing them. The world is fun but definitely not the best graphics but the lighting is top notch imo but I agree with Lee return it when you have a chance

Also this. We know what you're like Tommy ๐Ÿ˜„ but honestly, La @RenFengge , Carl @TurboR56Mini and Justin @FallenDark200 so far have enjoyed the experience with a number of more US people wanting to come in and help the cause too. Its a game which is fairly quietly played aswell, because many of us can easily just go off into the woods doing our thing. I mean I clearly wasn't online until past 1am last night with US people.... ๐Ÿ˜

Nah, don't be silly mate! Not everyone is gonna like the game. Here's my 2p on what you say. Graphically wise I was worried because I'm not the ultimate fan of Minecraft, but I appreciate what you can make in it. Valheim takes a Minecraft element with the graphics to a degree but they've enhanced them so if you look from the ground to the sky its a blend of all types. Something to enjoy and not really in any other game. Also, Rich @tronic44 made a very valid point the other day as for us its not much about graphics, but how animations work. Take a cutting a tree down. When you cut it down, if it falls into other trees the mechanics mean that it can knock other trees down too, in line with how you would think it would be in real life. Building stuff is just so quick. No waiting, just get the stuff and build it with the Hammer. The snapping, once you understand it, is one of the best i've seen in a game that compensates for the uneven ground and other elements around you. You don't play these games do you Tommy? DayZ is a survival but a way harsher scale and in fairness is about you surviving than surviving to create your own village/world. This is a chill game too so some people may want something more intense (although it does have its moments!). I think the game goes into another dimension because we have our very own server so we're all working together to do stuff and explore but genuinely mate, if you ain't gonna get your money's worth, no harm in getting a refund whilst you can.

  17. That would be ace! Lol, I'm feeling it now as I didn't expect to come on after the GT Sport races but I was pulled to it...so glad I did too! I started building the big house on stilts - yes, stilts ๐Ÿ˜„ - which was great fun and addicting. In terms of bosses, whilst it is hard to wait for everyone to be online, I do think a weekly thing will work. I mean, I can see us blasting through it very quickly otherwise and there's nothing stopping people do that on their own local saves. ALthough, even i'm getting a little itchy to do it and its not Sunday yet! ๐Ÿ˜„ Its a balance being here to have a server world that is for all of us so all of us have a chance at contributing. This one works so well because anyone can jump in later on and feel like they can help as nearly all the stuff we all can do at the same time. @phil bottle, we'll have a chat maybe at sticking up the world boss events up early on the calendar so people can see over the next 5/6 weeks when we can be all on way in advance.

  18. Random cool detail in the last episode for everyone. At the end Darcy finds folder on Haywoods drive called 'Cataract' right before the hex expands. Cataracts is a condition where you can get double vision if untreated. So project Cataract was clearly created to create a new Vision. Double Vision, get it xD

  19. I would say we should do one boss each week maybe, there's currently five I think, with more to be added. Great idea to put up instructions on finding the server if its not straightforward for US players!

  21. Notes: Yes, I died at sea... No, I did not have anything valuable on me. Met a feisty friend in the Ocean! Next to the Mid Blackforest Camp is a Troll. We have killed him at least 3 times. We're all getting better at it. East of the Mid Blackforest Camp Troll, the greyish white area is "Mountain". It is cold. Do not go in there unless you are able to. We have not unlocked whatever we need for it. West of the Trader/Merchant, we are building another major base (Shopping Base). The tiny islands near the shopping base has a crashed boat. It is not repairable. But, I still left the workbench out there. North of the Trader/Merchant is our Merchant Camp/Outpost. (Fun fact, I did not realize that when I built the base structure that there's a cave right under it that is being used as foundation. Surprise! We were only able to sink in about 4 hours today... so sort of progress. @GazzaGarratt and @FallenDark200 did a wonderful job on building up the Merchant Camp/Outpost! (Oh, I might have claimed 2 beds there.. just delete one) I spent a good amount of time trying to check in at our major bases and do some "housekeeping"... If anyone goes on, please remember to feed the boars! They prefer mushrooms (and carrots when we can farm them). And, refill the torches. For those who end up making new armor and weapons to replace their previous ones, save the old ones. Stick them in a base or outpost. Someone always dies. Someone always starts off naked. Might as well put the stuff to use. Totally saved my ass when I needed to collect my stuff from my grave. Depending on how much more exploring I do this week, I may have to do better than a cropped screenshot of the map. Zooming out is not helpful lol.

It's a game where you need to be on with friends. Do that first before binning it. There's people on most days I think and the guys from the US are a really cool bunch. Myself, Rich, Crispy, Greboth, Dave Plumber and Lee will probably be on over the weekend too. Looks-wise, it's all about the lighting, its gorgeous sometimes considering the lack of 3d textures.

  30. Take down Elder? Soooo.. suicide run? Lol. As for the server thing - we probably should write a how-to on it since it's not really straightforward! As always - it was a wonderful surprise to see you and @GazzaGarratton when we were able to come on! Hope it continues!

  31. @RenFengge @TurboR56Mini thanks to both of you for helping us out today and especially me with my goofy server issues if anyone else in the U.S. has issues let us 3 know we have figured out a way to join the server because it's gated off ping for the U.K. guys and gals. So I say we are definitely getting somewhere for sure and I think if we are all on Sunday @GazzaGarratt @phil bottle maybe we try and take down the Elder as well since we have made it so far in our adventures. It will allow us to open up more things and allow us to keep pushing our skills to make our bases and homes homes much better but thank you again for all the hard work game is really great!

  32. The stones don't factor in the comic version of this story at all, only reason it does in this its because it was used to create Vision in the MCU. The reality stone has nothing to do with this story. She just has those powers not everything has to be stone related xD

Alright, so I might get some hate for this... but I don't like this game. I thought it looked cool a while back. Then, everyone started playing it on here, so I thought I'd go ahead and pick it up. I played it for about 30 minutes tonight before I had to leave for work. The controls suck, the graphics suck, and I didn't really have any fun at all. I don't get the hype. What am I missing? Seriously considering returning the game on Steam.
