Haha yup, it’s why I’ve been loving the quests recently. Knock all the doors down, start the quest and reset the house and knock them all down again. I think my record so far is 22 door knobs from one house so far. Hopefully we can find another one or 2 of the same books as it would be so useful if more people could do similar.

So the first main/temporary base is coming along nicely and we had over a half a dozen of us on last night to get through the latest horde night which is quite epic. A first proper Horde night for Matty @Misneach_ and maybe the first correct way of doing a horde night for Dave @Plumbers Crack considering I took him through the last one and failed miserably, setting him on fire with about 4 Molotov Cocktails. Who knew he would light up so quickly in a small room underneath the base? Zombies GALORE it was and for the 5th horde night, its already getting rather tasty. Radiated ones are starting to appear and jump the entire base which is unreal to say the least. We seem better prepared this time though, as we've been gathering the relevant resources for bullets and creating really good platforms for food and transport for later mini base camps and loot runs. The current base looks like this. Just before i logged off last night, I created a Gyrocopter but more importantly a black leather sofa and TV because it needed a bit of life, me thought 😎 We also have one of the best starter garden we've ever had, courtesy of @tronic44 but also aided by @Plumbers Crack (no way keeping his green hands off this bit) So its coming along nicely. We have a little meet up tonight to see where we go to potentially start the main base and then whatever other camps we may need to get started on. The map remains to be a mystery too as no one has found any sign of a desert or other key parts we may need the resources from - looking at you Oil Shale. I know what you mean but I have no plans to upgrade my PC any time soon. I'll probably bypass this round of GPUs entirely and wait for the 4080ti 😁 I went from a GTX 770 to a 1080ti, the 770 lasted about 6 years before I upgraded, so, with that kind of form I'm happy to use this card for a couple of years more🤗

The trilogy contains the new Definitive Edition released today rather than the original from 2002. It's worth it for that and Mafia 2 I'd say!

Were on day 41 almost so horde night is upon us. We're looking good on ammo and still making more. Looking forward to playing with lots of people tonight. Should be on around 7pm ish. 🙂

I'm with you. I'm very aprehensive about it all but one promising element about the direction to stay with Destiny 2 and not make a Destiny 3 is that the current version of the game is/has been getting technical updates behind the scenes - which will allow for better ways of development on missions and other updates as each season moves along. They're taking a hit now by removing legacy existing content on old code so the game can have proper longevity on multi-platforms and re-integrate the best bits so we all have a better flowing and evolving world. However, I think its easy for gamers to miss these bits because most won't give a shit about how the game is created and developed, they just want the content as soon as possible and all of the time. I wouldn't be surprised to see Destiny to be able to update their game nearly as frequently as Epic does with Fortnite (their updates don't happen as frequent now as they initially did due to overworking staff ridiculously). Many people here won't notice any of this btw, because if you've had a break for a while, you kinda don't likely care about those bits that are leaving to go sit in the DCV for a bit - so should be a positive overall.

I actually thought the Definitive edition was the Trilogy version?! That looks like a good deal on the PS4 @techno , I'll add this to the list of ones to grab potentially for crimbo.

@techno for me, the first one is too old now so you may not enjoy, the second is excellent, the third is a more modern style game and it's a bit marmite, but if this trilogy is the new version of Mafia 1 definitely go for it...hope that helps🤗

It's a great deal and Mafia 2 is an amazing experience. Mafia 3 is dogshit but the first two games pay for themselves in this bundle so it's definitely worth getting.

I was keeping an eye on this then noticed there is this version as well. Would this be the way to go if you hadn't played any of the games?

Shock news this week as Ryan Reynolds and one of the actors from It’s Always Sunny In Philladelphia are in talks to buy Wrexham AFC. Doubt they’ll lead them into the BPL any time soon, but could be interesting.

I'm gonna probably get this package over Black Ops Cold War. I am a bit disappointed with the amount of stuff being taken out of the game but hopefully the new content will feel like an entirely new one.

Pull up a chair, grab a cup of tea. As most of you know, I do the odd matched betting now and again, and a side effect of this is that occasionally the bookies want me to get responsibly addicted to their casinos. To do this they'll put a nice little lure on their rods and cast it to my bullshit Gmail account, and today I bit on one of those lures, nice and deep. Today's lure was from Grosvenor Casinos and it came in the form of a £10 bonus to use on their live casino. I'll save you the boring shit but live casino bonuses are always great as you stand the highest chance of making something. To do this, I needed to roll that £10 over 5 times which we always do on roulette as it's the most constant win. So I enter the roulette room and stick a quid on red, hit autoplay, 50 rounds, begin. The action has begun. Now at this point I'd like to point out that these offers tend to get flung at me on Fridays because everyone knows that responsible gambling is best promoted on a Friday night when people are pissed, this includes me. So usually when this happens I open a tab on my PC, do the autoplay thing and hop on the ps4. Like I did last time. Now you guys all know the loveable affable chappie I am after a few drinks so last time I did this I was prompted to pick a name. After a few beers. Anyway, fast forward a few months to this afternoon and the wheel is spinning, when the croupier (the well dressed meth heads who manage to keep the shakes off long enough to spin a wheel on a table) starts talking about horses. A bit confused, I put it down to him chatting to one of the players or something. Yet he goes on about touching horses, how disgusting this is, how unacceptable, etc. Proper moody, but I'm just watching the wheel spin and the ball hit the reds. This goes on for 10 mins or so, eventually penny drops when I win again and see my username pop up as a winner on the screen. I giggle to myself. He goes on. Horses this, inappropriate that, and he's getting more and more irritated. Eventually he reports me to the roulette police who then change my name to something less horsy. I've still not said a word in chat or anything, the only way he's seen my name is when I win. So now I wanna play his game. Hit settings. Change name. "safespacepls". Submit. Ha, that'll learn 'im. He starts flapping again at how disgusting this is and says it's unacceptable that I changed my name back again. The roulette police step in again and he's put his dummy back in. Confused, I try again. "safespacepls". He kicks off again, each time getting angrier and angrier. Eventually he's having a moment about how the supervisors are never quick enough to action these pigs who pick these names. The table is spinning. The ball is in action. Whilst he's having a flap, I'm trying to figure out why my name won't change, and in doing so keep changing it back from my supervisor - assigned name to my original name. The wheel slows, the ball lands on red. My name flashes on the screen so he can see it. He rips his cute little coat off, exclaims THAT'S IT and storms off. Someone else takes his place, sees my name and smiles, but never speaks it out loud. He's one of us. So today was the first time in many, many years I've managed to get a croupier to rage quit and it was completely unintentional. The name? Iwankhorses 😄 Funniest £20 I ever made.

A little update from today; I think I may have found the best book ever! I get the brass door handle from every door I knock down so all the brass for us 😄 Crispy and I went to do a quest which turned in to more of a hunt as we found a few chicken, 2 deer and then I found a bear on the way back so about 140 meat and we weren't even trying to find animals. I think you're right about food though, I have the first level unlocked but moved on to unlocking other things. I want to get the next tier of extra meat then I think I'll put some points in to master chef so I can cook all the food I'm bringing back. I've also made an iron pick, so I think I'll go mining as I've marked so many iron, lead, nitrate on coal on my map it should be easy for me to dig some up.
