Upcoming new area teased here. Development on this game is slow but it's always worth the wait when they drop a new map.

Would this be then 2 maps in rotation or is it just one huge zone?

The Streets will be one big city map, although another one, Lighthouse, is dropping first I believe.

 

There are about 7 or 8 maps you can choose from when you want to spawn in to Tarkov, some bigger than others...but while the am is to link them, they're all independent right now.

So, patch 0.13 is coming in the next few days and the fist iteration of the long-awaited 'Streets of Tarkov' is finally going live.

 

There's a live announcement trailer dropping in an hour or two.
