If Spurs go into their new stadium and get a emotional lift from it and play better, this is unfair on the other teams competing for top 4 places.

If they get there and it totally lacks atmosphere (like the Emirates did for Arsenal), it could affect their play which may have ramifications if they’re playing a team in the relegation battle.

Finish the season at Wembley and no-one’s affected except the Spurs income stream but I imagine Mr Levy will be making a killing from the penalty clauses anywY

I don’t know how this argument shapes up in relation to your remaining home fixtures but hopefully you can see my point?

I know what you mean, I'm just interested. for your point of view, which is always valued by me.

No chance of a lack of atmos,  The Arse, like Man U, got invaded by glory hunters and neither of those teams knows how to generate an atmosphere any more. Spurs are different. We rock.

We've been playing away from home for two seasons, they should give us extra points as far as I'm concerned :D

And regarding us playing better - as you well know - a bad workman blames his tools :P

The reveal was by Richard Keys and that Scottish twat, so who knows:lol:

Oh god not Keys and Gray! Haven't heard much from them for years since the old lineswoman humiliation. I'm guessing they must be doing punditry in China or somewhere on the other side of earth?

Tottenham have officially confirmed that they will open for Brighton or if they progress in the cup, it'll be Crystal Palace. They also confirmed that the ground will not be called the 'Nike Stadium' but instead it will be known as the 'Cillit Bang Stadium' after a deal was struck with the cleaning product company worth up to £1bn over the next 5 years.

Seems strange u18 having all those mascots...looks like their parents have said they were going shopping and “..take your brother/sister wherever you go and hold their hand all the time” 😂😂

Seriously though, it looks very good and the highlights seem to show it was a very good choice to open with

Looks really nice....James / Phil, are you going tonight?

Nah, I have more chance of appearing in a porn film than being at the new ground tonight or this season😎

I'll probably have to wait for the pre-season friendly, get a membership next year or hope they get an unattractive cup tie just to get in there! Instead of general sale, they seem to be offering guest tickets to season ticket holders and members for the rest of the season.  Usually once the members got their tickets, any left over would just go on public sale but understandably the big gun supporters get the chance of more match tickets.

As a member I have the option to go but I might wait until all the fuss has died down. It'll be tourist and fairweather fandom hell for a while.

Plus, I'm struggling to justify the spend these days. With all the TV revenue, not a penny has trickled down to the fans and and I'm tired of being rinsed.

Even members are complaining they can't get tickets for the 'lesser' game of Huddersfield. :(
