Pokémon Let’s Go

So I’m a pretty rabid Pokémon fan & player. Breeding, VGC format, Showdown, you name it.

The newest Pokémon game for the Switch is attempting to bridge the gap from the new Pokémon fans who only know the franchise through PoGO and the old faithful RPG base.

With that in mind the game is a remake of RBY and a really good one at that. The leveling mechanics are weird as the catching Pokémon style but that’s understandable.

Solid buy and I cannot wait for Generation 9 in 2019.

I've waited forever for a Pokemon game and I think this is the one to get, especially that the kids should be able to interact with this one on the Switch. Definitely i'm on my Xmas list. Not sure if the Pokemon Plus balls are worth it though? I absolute want them but heard today that when charge has gone they don't work for quite a while. Shame as I like the gimmick.

Whats the major difference between Pikachu's and Eevie games?

Think of this as Pokemon Red & Blue (Splash of Yellow) with the version exclusive Pokemon. Don't forget you can transfer anything to your game from Pokemon Go, plus we can always trade so pick the version with your favorite exclusives or if you like Pikachu/ Eevee better.

Let’s Go, Pikachu! has:

  • Sandshrew
  • Sandslash
  • Oddish
  • Gloom
  • Vileplume
  • Mankey
  • Primeape
  • Growlithe
  • Grimer
  • Muk
  • Scyther

Let’s Go, Eevee! has:

  • Ekans
  • Arbok
  • Vulpix
  • Ninetales
  • Meowth
  • Bellsprout
  • Weepinbell
  • Victreebell
  • Koffing
  • Weezing
  • Pinsir

Ah okay, cheers for explaining. I notice Vulpix, Meowth, Koffing and Weezing are ones i'm used to knowing.

So if you bought the Pikachu game but you caught some of the Pokemon on the Eevee game via Pokemon GO, would that mean you can play them in game?
