BO4 Multiplayer Rumours

Recommended Posts

Apparently it's like LawBreakers and Overwatch and by the sounds of it, if these rumours are to be believed; it is destined to be a total fuck up from top to bottom https://charlieintel.com/2018/04/19/rumor-new-call-of-duty-black-ops-4-leaks-indicates-mp-is-similar-to-overwatch/

I've never seen such concern with a Treyarch game or any other title in the franchise like this. It seems like an absolute calamity and with Activision already cancelling the campaign, it sounds like the multiplayer should get the chop too. At this rate it'll be BO4 with only zombies and an unfinished Battle Royale mode!

These are only rumours though but the way the media have pounced on them suggests there is some merit and just knowing the Activision canned the story because it was basically shit suggests there is development hell going on behind the scenes.

If all that is true then WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCKITY FUCK is going on with Treyarch and Actvision?!

Treyarch have always delivered a solid game. I just don't understand how they can (apparently) be having so many problems. 3 years and they can't get a proper game out?

BO4 was probably the chance for COD for me but now it's looking like I'll have to avoid it. Unless all the rumours turn out to be utter bollocks.

Yeah, I think the legendary Eight Thoughts has well and truly quashed that one and I'm a bit surprised CharlieIntel posted about it as a sole rumour from a nobody source. I do believe the game wont have a campaign as that rumour seems far more credible but the multiplayer one was likely created off the back of that by the attention seeker fantasist to cause more concern and give himself some momentary heightened importance. Now he just looks a prick.

The rumour wasn’t posted on the 1st of April was it?

I haven’t watch the video yet but it all sounds a bit fair fetched that they’d change it completely. I can see them putting in certain game modes but not completely removing the original ones. How would the pro league work? Sorry everyone but not only do you have to learn new maps but all new games modes. Could be done but would be a stupid decision.

Dont let me down blops4!

I see Activision have given out invites for the reveal event in 10 days or so. The game will be playable apparently so that kinda supports the original rumour that there will be no campaign this year as the MP reveal and invite even doesn't happen until around August usually. That was from a far more credible source anyway. Having seen that pick 10 and familiar perks are in the game; I am more positive about the reveal now and that we might get a more traditional COD experience.

As long as it's not too cartoony, generic and focused towards battle royale; it should be decent.

Does anyone know how long the reveal is set to last?

Quite interested in watching but don't wanna sit there for 2 hours with build up before they actually start revealing stuff lol

I'm sure there'll be summary vids posted straight afterwards

Managed to catch some of it.

I really like it. Its boots on the ground, whilst being modern/futuristic at the same time. Fast game play, slow time to kill and specialists returning too which adds another fun element to the game.

Did anyone catch much about killstreaks?
