Q: Are prices consistent throughout sale?

A: For the most part, yes, since there are no more Flash Sales or Daily Deals. However, it is up to the developer and/or publisher if they wish to make changes to their price. Most will leave it, but some may have to correct something or put something on sale that didn't get flagged for it.

Q: Why won't the store load? Why are my downloads so slow?

A: There is severe load under Steam's servers, both store and content servers. Just give it some time, and try again later. Steam server statuses can be found on the side-bar of the subbreddit. For slow download speeds try changing the download region from Steam > Settings > Downloads > Download Region.

Please use steamstat.us to view the status of Steam's servers, do not make "Is Steam Down?", "Store slow for anyone else?" etc... posts.

Here is our Wiki page regarding troubleshooting of download and connection issues with Steam.

Q: Can I share games I buy with my family or friends?

A: Yes, you may do so through Steam Family Sharing. However, keep in mind that redeemed games are tied to your library and cannot be transferred or exchanged between accounts.

Q: What are these Summer Sale cards and how can I obtain them?

A: Sale cards are trading cards that you can only get during a Steam Sale, in this case: the Steam Summer Sale. These cards expire and can no longer be used once the Summer Sale is over.

You get one for each badge you craft during the sale. They are untradable/unmarketable for 7 days if the trading cards used to make the badge that gave you a sale card are untradable/unmarketable.

You can also obtain them from buying $10 USD worth of games and/or from completing Discovery Queues. Cards from these examples are instantly tradable.

Keep in mind that your account must be at least level 5 in order to get card drops from completing Discovery Queues and that at the store resets daily at 10:00am Pacific Time.
