  1. Platinum games announced a release date finally of October 28th, 2022 for this one. I'm not sure if anyone has had any experience with this franchise, but it's a pretty good devil may cry-ish style of a game series. I'll end up getting it, but I feel this series is going to really suffer being a Nintendo exclusive. Shame really. Hopefully, one day, this series can reach other platforms for all to enjoy.
  2. So it's basically a friendlier version of Stardew Valley, without the massive time crunch and pre-planning needed to map out your farm for every season. The game is just solid and I am surprised I got hooked on it. The characters are likeable, there's over 200 unique characters and the system itself is really flawless when it comes to playing. So far I recommend it.
  3. Arrives October 15th. No crossplay yet but sure is tempting to get it on here so holidays wont drag so much 😂
  4. Out September 20th and it costs around £100 less than the OG switch, theres some comparisons below to show what's the difference between them both.
  5. Official website for the games Big reveals: Pokemon Sword and Shield will release in late 2019 (no date yet) The starters are Grookey the grass starter, Scorbunny the fire starter, and Sobble the water starter! The games are set in the new Galar region, likely based on Great Britain. Wild battle mechanics seem to have returned from past games, after being absent in LGPE. Likewise, gyms return after being absent in Gen 7.
  6. No gameplay but this was enough to raise serious hype for all those Metroid Prime fans.
  7. Analysts have predicted by the end of the year that Switch will have outdone Xbox sales. Whilst never being a major Nintendo fan, after seeing it in action and then buying one, I have to admit I am in awe of how they've cleverly hit the handheld and console market so successfully with the Switch. The worry was always about the games, however whilst we still wait for more 3rd parties to create remasters and more games for it, the current selection of Switch games are all up in the 8/9/10 out of 10 games available. Microsoft just can't compete with just Halo being there only successful major exclusive product (imo). Mario Odyssey, Mario Kart 8, Zelda, Splatoon 2 and now Smash Bros. The port L.A. Noire looks impressive and bespokely made for their controls too. The one true gap for them really destroying the market is the community and friends capability. It's an extremely poor experience and one which you'd think they'd at least have a basic infrastructure built by now. Here's hoping they really invest in this to allow it to compete against all consoles side by side. Really impressive comeback after the Wii U.
  8. It's happening and it's in 2018. Such a great addition to the Switch that is fast becoming more of a major console player than most first thought. Here's hoping we'll see a few new characters along the way and maybe a few different game modes would be nice too. Miss playing the Target Smash mode, loved completing each characters level.
  9. Super Mario Odyssey is a 3D platform video game developed and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo Switch, which released worldwide on October 27, 2017. As a part of the Super Mario series, the game returned to the primarily open-ended, exploration-basedgameplay previously featured in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine.
  10. Stardew Valley meets NES open. I really need to buy a switch because the list of games keeps growing. http://www.vooks.net/video-watch-first-30-minutes-golf-story-exclusive-switch/
  11. Rumours are spreading across social media about a remastered version of L.A. Noire for PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. Now I loved this game from Rockstar on my xbox 360. One of the best storylines a game has coupled with some great intuitive interrogation mechanics. Whilst its great to hear for anyone that hasn't played it, I don't see any appeal for anyone that's already played it and completed the story. If they had new game modes then maybe so but I'd be hard pushed to pay full price due to me having it already. If you haven't got it though, you are in some serious good luck if these rumours are true.
  12. FIFA 18 is an upcoming football simulation video game in the FIFA series of video games, developed and published by Electronic Arts, and is scheduled to be released 29th September 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. It will be the 25th instalment in the FIFA series.
  13. Rocket League has been announced for Nintendo Switch at E3 with the additional bonus of being able to play cross-play with other platforms. Apart from Sony. They've refused citing it is about commercial details. Sony have to be careful here as they may shoot an own goal after a top performance at E3. First Minecraft, then Rocket League. I'm not sure what their problem is as Psyonix have come out to clearly state they can switch it on for ps4 players within an hour as they run all their own servers.
  14. Just speculation however it seems that the Switch version of Mario Kart 8 is expected to come with additional features that the Wii U version does not have. According to Nintendo Life, it seems that it has been spotted on the box cover art of the upcoming game that was leaked (and taken down) on EB Games Australia’s website that “Battle Mode” will be returning to the game. Mario Kart 8 did have some version of Battle Mode, but it seems that many did not quite like it as much as its predecessor. We’re not sure what “All new” means, like whether or not it will be the return of the original Battle Mode or an improvement on the existing version. It was also revealed that gamers can look forward to a whopping 24 extra tracks, which means that there will be 6 more cups that gamers can race on. There will also be 10 new characters added to the game (with King Boo a pretty much cert to be one of them). --------------------------------------- Official news should come from Nintendo on Jan 12th. I used to love the original battle mode on the SNES. With more fleshing out it could be a very good enhancement to this game.
  15. Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers is an upcoming fighting game developed and published by Capcom for the Nintendo Switch video game console, which is scheduled to release in May 2017. There is no current plans to release this on PS4 or Xbox One.
  16. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild current release date March 3rd for Nintendo Switch and Wii U
  17. Looks like Switch want to get a similar feeling to PlayStations WipeOut. This looks good and I targets a game genre that there isn't much competition on. --------------------------------- Shin’en Multimedia has announced that lightning-fast arcade racer FAST RMX will release as a Nintendo Switch exclusive. Building on the success that FAST Racing NEO was met with, it will invite players to jump into the driver’s seat of their anti-gravity vehicle as they put their skills to the test in high-octane competitions. With 30 tracks set in canyons, alpine peaks, futuristic cities and more, players will need to master the art of boosting and phase switching to stay ahead of the competition. The non-stop adrenaline pumping action runs at 60 frames per second in 1080p, and FAST RMX can also be enjoyed in local split-screen multiplayer with up to four players or in online multiplayer with up to 8 players. FAST RMX will release exclusively on Nintendo Switch in 2017.
