  1. I have to admit, I checked on the prices of both the seat and the monitor. Had a cheeky conversation with the wife ..."it's only half of a £15k loan luv!" You can get one in black without the lights for slightly less. It must feel so comfy to have something like this. Let's keep those fingers crossed for a lottery win.

  3. South Park: The Fractured but Whole is an upcoming role-playing video game developed and published by Ubisoft, in collaboration with South Park Digital Studios. It is the sequel to The Stick of Truth. It will release on October 17th on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
  4. You can download a free trial of the game to play Thursday to Sunday this weekend on PC, Xbox and PS4. Also, you can pre-download the PS4 version from today (8th) so it'll be ready for the weekend. If you haven't played it before it is a great game and could've been more of a significant title if it wasn't for their server strategy. However, they are fixing this so if it had enough support, it could become awesome once again. There is nothing like this out there. Fantastic tactical swordplay.
  5. Started a new thread as the other got derailed. Will copy over the key inital info where it came from. It went into beta today for PC, Android and Xbox. Switch won't get beta access although they are part of the live release. The update adds features yet to appear on console - stained glass, parrots, coarse dirt and perhaps most importantly, world conversion. PC folk can download the Minecraft Better Together Update beta now via the Xbox Insider App. On Android, it will be available to those who have already bought the game via the Google Play Store. Worlds you have been building and playing on already will be present in the Better Together Update, and if you play with a world from Xbox One and Nintendo Switch then you'll get extra world generated for you when you reach the edge of your map. Gotta be honest, Sony look like proper dicks not getting with cross-play on this and the longer it goes, the worse it'll get.
  6. FIFA 18 is an upcoming football simulation video game in the FIFA series of video games, developed and published by Electronic Arts, and is scheduled to be released 29th September 2017 for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. 7. Pro Evolution Soccer 2018 is an upcoming sports video game developed by PES Productions and published by Konami for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One. Released on September 12th.
  8. Destiny 2 Beta Dates have been confirmed and there will be a period of Open Beta so you DON'T have to pre-order if you want to try it out. Also the launch date is now 2 DAYS EARLIER - September 6th. Beta Dates July 18th - Playstation Beta July 19th - Xbox Beta July 21st - Open Beta for both Playstation and Xbox July 23rd - Beta Closes Late August - PC Beta Launch Dates September 6th - Playstation and Xbox October 24th - PC Hyped for long beta. Will post later what's available unless someone can grab the details?
  9. This space exploration game is coming to PS4 in June so I was wondering if many people play it on PC and Xbox? It's received good reviews due to 1:1 ratio of the universe and seems a good social game where the community helps each other to find new things in space....sounds a little No Man's Sky but better. It's been out for about a year now so it'll be interesting to see if PS4 players get into this.

    PC Tower

What type of towers do you have? I don't really have the space for a big one...unless I can convince the wife. With SSD the main choice do you have much smaller ones or is there specific ones that take your fancy? I'll dig my old one out over the weekend to share what I used to use.
  11. Rocket League has been announced for Nintendo Switch at E3 with the additional bonus of being able to play cross-play with other platforms. Apart from Sony. They've refused citing it is about commercial details. Sony have to be careful here as they may shoot an own goal after a top performance at E3. First Minecraft, then Rocket League. I'm not sure what their problem is as Psyonix have come out to clearly state they can switch it on for ps4 players within an hour as they run all their own servers.
  12. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, “B.J. Blazkowicz” is back fighting Nazis who control America in an alternate 1961. Game releases on October 27th for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
  13. Burnout was one of the most enjoyable crazy car games out, especially because it was all about smashing everything into smithereens. As there is some war between the rights of the Burnout name, 3 previous employees have created Danger Zone. It's out now on PC and PS4. It seems to be only £8.99 in the UK so a similar cheap price in the US. I'm absolutely picking this up. This looks like so much fun for my son and I, like it used to be.
  14. Anyone playing this? Its been out for a few years but its getting a resurgence because of the link with Overwatch heroes being released. Seen some gameplay and it looks pretty good, like league of legends. Really want to play it just to get the Police D.Va skin but tbh it would be good to have a PC game to play as i haven't PC gamed in years.
  15. Dirt 4 is an upcoming rally racing video game developed by Codemasters. It is the twelfth game in the Colin McRae Rally series and the sixth title to carry the Dirt name. Out on June 6th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
  16. The Elder Scrolls Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing video game developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. It was originally released for Microsoft Windows and OS X on April 4, 2014. Out on June 6th for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
  17. Mass Effect: Andromeda current release date March 21st for Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC
  18. Surprised we haven't talked about this a little more. The story looks a pretty decent one and they haven't held back in terms of including racist elements to help support the story to ensure the player gets the most of the experience (developers have said it was crucial). The biggest talk for pc players so far is that it's running on 30FPS not 60. The graphics look okay and it wasn't ever going to beat GTA in comparison but it could be worth a dip in the pocket. Review below - I didn't take much notice of the reviewer, just wanted to see some gameplay.
  19. It'll be interesting to see if they actually bring this to consoles. Arguably they have much more freedom to fix this on PC rather than console and I don't believe they are getting serious issues on consoles with this so I won't be holding my breathe that they find the silver bullet for consoles. ----------------------------------------- Blizzard’s latest developer video is all about the netcode update for Overwatch on PC. The studio announced last month it was rolling out high bandwidth servers which would increase the tick rate on PC. According to lead engineer Tim Ford and senior engineer Philip Orwig, the netcode update has rolled out to most servers, with more regions to follow. In the announcement last month, Blizzard said the game will become more responsive with a higher tick rate, and have added tech which will automatically scale down the update rate if the player’s internet can’t maintain a steady connection. The team is also still investigating how the netcode update can be applied to consoles.

    Verdun

Any PC players tried this out? Its coming out on Tuesday (30th August) for PS4 with the xbox version being slightly delayed. It has a very good rating on steam and its a World War 1 FPS so I'm pretty bemused to why it hasn't been talked about. Clearly is the only alternative to the upcoming BF1 which I'm sure it won't match up but nevertheless it looks a solid FPS. Verdun Console Announcement Trailer
  21. From the developers of Life is Strange, is a 15-minute gameplay video of their new game. I think could be a big hit in 2017, as Life Is Strange was an underrated success on console. It's on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Really impressive stuff.
  22. An open beta for Mortal Kombat XL is now available on Steam for anyone to try. After teasing the PC version earlier this week, Mortal Kombat developer NetherRealm has released an open beta of Mortal Kombat XL – the bundle that includes all DLC packs, on Steam. You can’t buy Mortal Kombat XL just yet, but if you have a Steam account, you can download and play it for free until Monday, August 29. You’re going to need about 30GB of free space, so get downloading.
  23. New PvP 3v3 game out from makers of Sleeping Dogs. Smash & Grab Trailer Didn't know where to put it as it's not really a shooter but has similar traits in it. Looks like a pretty decent concept providing looting has its variety of ways to get the cash. Out on PC in September and there is alsoa potential for early access via Steam.
  24. until
64-player open beta for the first-person shooter will begin August 31st on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. End date TBC. Sign up to beta via thread below: index.htm
  25. Taken from PC Gamer. Looks an interesting game... ------------------------------------------ New trailer showcases 'body part targeting' melee. Surge Gameplay When Dan Griliopoulos got to grips with an early build of Deck13’s action role-player The Surge earlier this year, he said: “Given it’s a sci-fi game from the developers of Lords of the Fallen, it’s not surprising that the ethos is entirely Dark Souls meets System Shock.” The latest pre-alpha trailer appears to further this outline by showcasing some distinctly Souls-like melee fisticuffs. “Melee combat in The Surge is stamina-based,” explains Adam Hetaney, Deck13’s head of game design, in the following demo. “That means that while you’re in combat you’re gonna need to manage your stamina resource or you might find yourself unable to complete a combo that you want to finish or unable to dodge away from a counter attack—it’s just something you need to pay attention to while you fight.” A stamina-focused approach to close-quarters combat might echo that of the Souls series, however The Surge deviates from its example by way of “body part targeting”. Hetaney continues: “In The Surge, attacks are not light or heavy attacks, but rather horizontal and vertical attacks. That’s because the swing direction of your attacks actually matters. “You can target specific body parts so directing attacks towards unarmoured or vulnerable areas deals increased damage, it’s more likely to stagger your opponent. It really pays to observe your enemies, pick out their weak points when you’re going in for the kill. While the latter half of the demo explores The Surge’s crafting options, how body targeting is tied to looting and pulling blueprints from dropped enemy equipment sounds interesting. The Surge is due sometime in 2017.
