Summary:
With this patch, we address some widely-discussed concerns with how Engrams are earned and claimed. Strikes have become more rewarding, and the rewards gained from them are more predictable. Also affected is the rotation of maps that appear in the Crucible.
Cryptarch
Legendary (purple) engrams will always produce a Legendary quality item or higher
Note: Legendary engrams that exist in your inventory will change to Rare quality items when the patch is applied. However, decoding these engrams will still produce the same results as beforeRare (blue) engrams will always produce a Rare quality item or higher
Chance for Legendary gear increasedMaterials: Ascendant Shards and Ascendant Energy promoted to Legendary quality (from Rare quality)
Rewards
Rare (Blue) and Legendary (Purple) Engram drops added to the potential rewards for:
Vanguard: Tiger Strike PlaylistDaily Heroic Missions (first time per day)Weekly Heroic Missions (first time per week)Known issues
When selecting a higher difficulty for daily missions, XP Bonus not show in the reward displayYou will still get the XP bonus, you just won't see it in the UI
 
Crucible
Reduced time limit on Bastion and First Light in Control and Clash from 15 to 12 minutes, bringing them in line with non-vehicle maps in those playlists
Lowered weighting on Bastion and First Light in Control and Clash so they appear less often in those playlists

Just got back about 4 hrs ago from probably one of the best fishing trips ever, just a great trip. Best friendship, great weather, awesome fish caught, you name it. Have tons of pics to resize & edit before I post but had to post this one because for 20 + yrs now I have tried to catch a 20" river brown trout on a fly, and today I finally did it, so had to post this pic from this morning! Will post more soon as I edit them, but this if from this morning (Sunday morn).

Mistakes as in unintended exploits such as the loot cave and thrall farming. Some companies (Infinty Ward) would pretend their issues didn't exist.
 
The loot system while not a mistake per se, was poorly designed from a player psychology point of view. I have no problem with random loot systems at all, but I still think Destiny's implementation of it blows.

As some of you know I run my own business building custom rods for a living. Lately I have been wanting to build just an absolutely insanely modified fly rod that would test my skills with all sorts of tricks and extras on it. Pretty much build with excess for no other reason than because I wanted too lol. So in between customer rods I've been building this fly rod. Everything on it is all hand turned and custom made, I hand made the grip with various 1/2" cork rings and blue foam accent rings (craft foam) then did 11 coats of polyurethane with each coat hand smoothed and buffed between the next coat. All the colors you see on the rod, the blue, silver, black is all wrapped thread with finish over it. used a piece of hand turned Lacewood for the reel seat, pretty much just wanted to build a show piece of a rod. So this is what I ended up with.

I love that they have a sense of humor about their mistakes. I think Infinity Ward still stands behind the rock glitch as a feature not a problem.

@Jayne I've stopped upgrading weapons that I know I'm not going to keep forever to conserve parts. I only upgrade guns that are sponge-worthy now.

For the most part I agree with the fixes. Everyone knew the cave farming wasn't going to last. I don't like one with the queens gear. People are way to impatient and want stuff easily. I like the grind. One reason I'm loving this game. I still need to do the rest of the Bad Juju bounty. Only have the first challenge done. Working on the 25 strikes now. So if you want company doing them I'm all for it. Think I have 5 complete.

Anytime Mr Owl! It really was an all out war at the end. I didn't think we'd do it at some points. It was possibly the longest mission i've done so far, with the most deaths, meant i only got 4 hrs sleep and i'd do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Shows all the random public events, when they will apear, where they apear and how rare they are.
 
Saves  LOT of time not guessing when the next event will be.

So Chip finally got smart and traded in his Xbone,games and used birthday money and got a PS4. Actually got the Destiny edition PS4. I'm happy to be able game with him again. He just needs a few people to play with. He may send out some friend invites gamer tag is Waraint98.
