  4. No, we are going to be bringing the game back to its fundamentals so you will be new adventurers!
  5. I think the graphics are cool but that voice acting needs updating 😂
  6. Final Fantasy 10 and Command and Conquer: Red Alert
  7. I’ve got it priced up at £2000 for 4 days including the flights, a rustic cabin 15 mins from the Santa land and car hire….its a lot of money for a short time but the memories….
  8. Looking to take the kid to Lapland in November this year. Anyone got any tips or hints?
  9. Yeh I agree with that about Harry Potter - lots of feels in the last one for sure
  10. Would you really put Star Wars or Harry Potter up there? I really enjoy both franchises and their respective other content etc but in terms of actual 'films' I think both franchises are mediocre at best - I think the stories are interesting enough but the big win is the character buy in. And I don't mean execution, I mean we can all relate/empathise with Luke or Harry. However, the execution of those characters is rather clunky and hap hazard. If you think about Gladiator on your list, it is excellent on so many levels. Russel Crowe is stoic and firm, Joaqiun Phoenix is horrid and cruel. The story is compelling yet relatable. The sets are true to the time period and not over done. The costumes look realistic, the fighting is well choreographed and have great flow.....That is a high quality film with very few things to really criticise. Star Wars on the other hand starts with the shittiest hallway scene known to man (as proven by the do over in Rogue One) 😀 In fact, compare the opening scene in Gladiator to that of A New Hope or Scorcers Stone......wow.
  11. Hateful 8 is good but I think it’s a bit cheesy in some places. I’ve never seen black hawk down
  12. For me it’s: 1. Aliens 2. The 13th Warrior 3. Django Unchained tell me yours!
  13. Ever since San Andreas or Liberty City, I just feel like these games have got 'too big'...does that make sense? Obviously some of them in the past have just had poor story lines etc but for me GTA5 was just fucking massive and I really struggled to follow the story line of the three characters. Like is it a sandbox or not etc. They always make a good game to be fair but for me I just can't get behind the hype anymore because it just feels like the game has to be huge with lots of complicated mechanics now to warrant the dev time. I'm an old man, I like my old fashioned top down original GTA where the most pressing thing I had to do in a game was run over the Hari Krishna's at the start of each level 😀
  14. I always feel like the cinematics are way better than the actual games for Warhammer. They always feel a bit clunky. However, I do feel like they pay off the hardcore lore nerds well so that's a plus.
  15. I think it’s a refreshing take on those movies and Snyder really hit the mark with the feeling of doom and gloom. Great casting too.
