  1. Bought on PC today, no clue what I'm doing.
Let's see which direction this goes. Now they are officially looking at this, depending on how this goes, Palworld could temporarily disappear from sale while changes are implemented. Palworld has now also peaked at over 2mil.
  3. Today that figured reached 1.8 mil! Overtaking CSGO. Really hope the devs work on this title, hire a more professional team or whatever, and make this something to really last the long run. Im surprised the player count has stayed this high though, I thought it'd have already peaked after a few days.
  4. Nice review mate. I've opted not to get EA FC just yet! I don't have much interest in UT. Biggest thing that gets me about EA games, it feels like who can do the fanciest tricks the most often, even watching pros on Twitch, feels less like football and more like showboating. With that, and me being a very bad player in the first place, I decided to go full manual in football games probably around the time of FIFA 16. The satisfaction feeling you get from scoring a wondergoal because you had to actually put the effort in to aiming your through balls, passes and shots is what makes football games. Manual, while rewarding, never gets any attention from EA and leaves certain types of passes broken. So my football fix is currently SP Football Life 2024, which is a standalone mod of PES 2021.
  5. I think at this stage, Pokémon characters are heavily influenced in all monster hunter games. This game is something though, I'm trying not to burn myself out early on, so only play in stages for a bit at a time when I'm not grinding Monster Hunter World. If you're a Pokémon fan, this is definitely worth picking up, still enough content for Early Access. GP version is slightly different to Steam too. That is a couple of updates behind currently and there's no dedicated servers. On Steam you can have servers that support up to 32 players, on GP it's 4 player invite only. Also they pretty much brought GP version straight over from Xbox, as I couldn't even find an exit game button when I tried.
  6. This game is amazing! Currently has the highest concurrent players at 1,221,744! What this has achieved so far is mind boggling. I still play Pokémon on Switch but for PC other games fell short. TemTem became a grind fest.
  7. Still waiting on the Splinter Cell series remakes, one of my favourite series ever.
  8. Did you also listen to Leaves Eyes, After Forever, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil or Arch Enemy? Me currently:
  9. Great! If Clubs is cross play this year then, I might join when I've bought it. Although depends what console everyone is going with, as don't think I can play with PS4 users.
  10. I'd hoped so! I'm already thinking about possibly upgrading the CPU to 5800X3D when I can afford to, it's a bit pricey though. So far I'm finding it a mixed bag, depending on the game. I installed BF2042, took some time to get it to play nice. Managing in a way that utilizes GPU hovering around 90% usage in mostly Ultra, and the CPU also around the same, with frames from 60-80. I didn't realise until I went searching, that certain in-game settings are handled by the CPU. I struggle with Starfield though, luckily I didn't have to buy it as he gave me an extra code he received with his new PC. Hell Let Loose seems to be a headache to get to play right, and I can get Escape from Tarkov to run well enough, that game is heavy on the CPU though and I think my current CPU just doesn't cut it. Plus I've been reading up that the CPU is used much more when you game at 1080p. Going past that, 1440p and 4k tend to rely more on the GPU to power everything. Good points though, I can play GTA V pretty much maxed, Master Chief Collection also maxed out, mostly highest in Chivalry 2, and The Hunter: Call of the Wild. Making these games look amazing with at least 60fps, compared to what I'm used to seeing!
  11. I should be receiving this next weekend. He decided £300 seemed excessive, so now selling me it for £250. It'll tie me over for a while until I decide what I'm doing. I'll have a think about what to do with the other desktop. If I can go smaller, I'll be tempted. She only plays Roblox anyway, so even though my 980 isn't going to fit in a smaller case most likely, I have a 560 Ti in a box I could swap for instead. If it means I can transfer to a smaller case.
  12. Very informative mate, thank you. I think I'll tell him tomorrow I'll have it should he wishes to go ahead. I'm aware about the AM4 and EOL for most of the system. For comparisons, this is what I currently have: Intel Core i7 4790K @ 4.00GHz 16.0GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 790MHz Gigabyte Technology Co. Ltd. Z97X-UD3H-BK-CF 4095MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980 238GB Crucial_CT256MX100SSD1 1863GB TOSHIBA DT01ACA200 Upgrading isn't something I'd be able to do anytime soon anyway, so just having something that would be better than I already have is my main aim. I don't expect a miracle jump in performance, although my 980 really struggles with pretty much every game now sadly. If I do end up with his PC, I'd plan on putting this PC in a smaller case for the daughter to use. Unless the MB and GPU wouldn't fit a smaller form factor case?
  13. So after around 5 years, my brother has decided he wants to upgrade his PC, but I think he might go down the route of buying new everything. He offered (maybe not serious at this point, I don't know) his rig for £300 and I'm wondering if you would? AMD Ryzen 7 2700X 3.7 GHz 8-Core Processor NZXT Kraken X62 Liquid CPU Cooler Gigabyte X470 AORUS GAMING 7 WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-2666 CL16 Memory Samsung 970 Evo 250 GB M.2-2280 PCIe 3.0 X4 NVME Solid State Drive Seagate BarraCuda 4 TB 3.5" 5400 RPM Internal Hard Drive NVIDIA Founders Edition GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB Video Card GameMax Graphite ATX Mid Tower Case Corsair TX750M 750 W 80+ Gold Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply Asus DRW-24D5MT DVD/CD Writer This is obviously an improvement over my aging i7 4790k and GTX 980. I believe it has the possibilities for upgrades without major changes being needed should I be able to afford to upgrade later on. Would you say it's a good deal? Being that I'm gaming at 1080p.
  14. The greed is high with these 😅. I'd like to have purchased the older titles on Steam but refuse to, due to there pathetic discounts of anything with Call of Duty in the name.
  15. I probably spent most time on the DS, at the time it was so awesome to interact in the way you did with the screen. The GG got used a lot, but we needed to keep it constantly plugged in to the mains while in use. At the moment I still have PS Vita, GameGear and Nintendo Switch. I don't tend to play the real GG though, as I need a longer mains plug, and I can play all the games on my PC. I could really do with getting the screen mod for my GG but it's expensive, and thought about it not being an original part bugs me. I don't have a Steam Deck but I do love the Switch. It's so seamless going from TV to handheld, and has become useful on many occasions.
  16. If anyone wants https://www.gog.com/en/game/wolfenstein_the_new_order let me know! Needs redeeming by 2nd June.
  17. Peaky Blinders: Mastermind | Steam PC Game WWW.FANATICAL.COM Dive into post-war Birmingham and experience the multi-award-winning BBC and Netflix TV show in a new form with your Peaky... FREE
  18. I have and still play PS3 from time to time. Got a black super slim myself and tonight was on Resistance Fall of Man multiplayer. I tend to like playing on games where they are bringing back community servers to revive them.
  19. Funny how these never factor in the return flight home with these things. Doesn't quite look as appealing after that.
  20. Love this track from the new album that came out today. It's been a long wait and this new album just blows the previous album out the water. I wasn't sure how the direction would go after Andy Fletcher's death last year, but damn this album hits the right notes.
