I cleared the dig that you had done a lot of work on Marina using my Fortune III pick...there are 14 emeralds in your chest for you 

If you come back soon (I woke up early again) you can finish #2 off down to bedrock Marina...if not, start a new 20 x 20 nearby (I want to eventually link them all together that's why I'm lining them up and keeping straight sides!). 
 
If I start a new one before you I'll leave a sign by your storage chest.....hell, you have to be really careful what you put with words like chest and hole cuz I know Tommy is lurking, waiting for something to put in the "Out Of Context" section! 

Of course!, then  perhaps I am more inclined toward the Country Home rather than the Medieval Fortress (I would have lasted two days in medieval times had I been born back then...). To be honest, i am not sure I understand what sort of lava bridge you wanna build but I am  up for it.
 
I forgot to say, thank you to whoever built the fireworks dispenser near mine (/warp casa).  Greboth, was thaz you??

Well, I've hit a blank about what to do next on the multiplayer, bought the PS4 version second hand and, on the spur of the moment, started a single player game on the PC. So, here are some thoughts, in no particular order, on things I've learnt and some early conclusions.....
 
If you play on a laptop with integrated graphics it will lag like a mother. Take a break shut MC down and let the machine get it's breath back. Lag also occurs the more frequently you warp
 
Bart gave us a (much appreciated by us noobs) a really easy start with the diamond chest freebies and free food. SP survival mode for the first time is a bit different!
 
Creepers blowing up will kill you and leave a big hole in the ground
 
Minecraft is addictive
 
Going from heavily armoured in MP to starting in single player, remember you don't have armour!!!!
 
Always, always, always mine coal for the XP
 
Once you're secure in SP, mine your ass down to L12  asap as that's where there's more iron ore and shiny stuff but pay attention to the minimap
 
F7 is your friend
 
Torches are your friend
 
Minecraft is addictive
 
If you have the ring that gives you water etc be careful...if you've been underwater and surface make sure you come down fully to ground level or you will be kicked for flying
 
AFK farming will upset the server admin  sorry Bart
 
Find animals, pen animals, breed animals, kill animals, cook and eat dead animals
 
Grow barley, grind on the crafting table and make bread in the furnace...easy peasy

Minecraft on the PS4 after playing on the PC sucks big time
 
Villager trading can be very lucrative if you find the right villager and work out how to refresh the inventory - I'm a emc multimillionaire thanks to this!
 
Redstone mechanisation is fun but frustrating...anyone watching a YT video then trying it will realise why they do it in creative mode!
 
Bee breeding is difficult but absorbing

Tunnelling is a great way to while away a few hours
 
Going back to a bucket in SP after having the "water ring" (can't remember it's name) in MP is a right pain in the arse
 
With the benefit of hindsight, I wish I hadn't discovered the energy convertor and collector as early as I did. Don't get me wrong I think the convertor is a great idea but coupling them to energy collectors for freebies is a bit cheesy. Why do it then?...because I can.
 
 
I'll update this as and when I think of other things
 
oh, and did I mention that Minecraft is addictive

Well, I've done a little extending beneath my hobbit style home and I now have an armour room, obsidian lined workshop, underground farm, swimming pool and another tunnel leading to a jetty with a boat.
 
Finished to day with a little fishing. Quickly knocked up a fishing rod and caught a salmon, an enchanted bow and two enchanted fishing rods!

Spin off a new build into a new folder and do whatever you want in single player

There are plenty of saddles in my entrance chest (/warp casa). Once you get your horse let me kow as I have plenty of golden armour. My horses are called Sugarcube, Rocinante and Shergar ☺
 

I have got plenty of sugar cane at mine (/warp casa), first basement floor.
 
Otherwise I have some planted at the front of the house... feel free to chop it!
 
Just be careful with my wolves... they had babies and there's around 10 of them running around the house.

Oh no I didn't know!!!! I thought it was three of barley that made one loaf of bread...
 
Anyway, I have my own energy condenser and collectors now, thanks to Greboth! Thank you Greboth, and thank you Jason but helping me fight the bad guys around my castle yesterday.... I was worried my dogs would get killed... even if you have them sitting, they will come and help you when attacked.
 
I can now concentrate purely on building and hopefully some beekeeping, and ocelot taming! I would also like to help you guys with the railway... perhaps I can work on the bit that goes north?
 
I lost Kisu around (the one that funnily enough was born from an egg) but I now have three dogs with me. I learnt that you don't need to drag them by a lead when sailing... they happily jump on the boat with me when I do!

I've sorted out my files in the wrong place and I can get on now. Too late to check everything out but i'll try and do that Sunday/Monday night.

My son was playing minecraft today. Apparently he logged in as me, and was messing around killing things.
 
He has his own modpack so I am not sure why he was on the one I use, or even on my account. Regardless of that, I know my kid.....
 
If anyone comes across any booby traps of TNT or Lava anywhere at their house, let me know please.

So... I went fishing yesterday evening amd then went to find an ocelot to tame. After chasing an ocelot for a while and givig him all my fish he didn't love me enough yet (I will be back with more fish, though!). Then I was sailing back to my house and came across a swimming horse. I went to help him go back to the shore by pushing him with the boat and when I was like two feet from him there was some lightening and the horse became, all of a sudden, four skeleton scary horses and four arrow-throwing bad guys. That was bloody scary!
 
Anyway, thanks for all your help so far, and a special mention to @Greboth who left a massive house warming present at mine. I would not have been able to collect all of that in 2 years so thank soooo much!

As most will know, just over a week or so ago, we put into process a collection for Dave & Kyla, as it felt like a great time to make them feel special after all the stuff they've had to go through this year. The response from ALL of you was superb. Thank you.

So we managed to get @Diddums to give us a date to come down to London town, which was last night, so we made our way with wrapped up goodies in the hope it would put a smile to their faces.
 
 
Suffice to say, it really had the desired effect - I've never seen or heard both Dave and Kyla that speechless and overwhelmed, it was brilliant. What was most amazing was from their view they didn't know why they were getting all this stuff.
 
This is what Forever Gaming has done since day 1 and we'll keep continuing to do these things, for the simple fact its the right thing to do. I know that this is exactly why this family here is such a unique one. This is our IRL family now, not just a bunch of random people posting about games. No matter who you are, how new you feel or how much you frequent the FG home, you'll always be considered as an integral part of this place.

HI MARINA!

I placed an Anvil, and a chest at spawn for you. It is located closer to the villagers, just outside their gate
In the chest is a wolf egg, and a nametag
 
put the nametag on the anvil, and type in a name in the top bar
 
Once you get to your house, use the egg, and then right click on the wolf with the name tag, this will give it the name.
 
If you need bones or zombie flesh to tame it, let me know
 

Bart, I like the idea of the name tag! I am not sure about dragging Kisu by the neck, I don't want to oblige him to stay with me either...
 
I read in the Minecraft Wiki that mobs with nametags won't despawn... it looks to me like a good way to keep my companion with me at all times!
 
With a nametag, would he respawn if killed?

No, Nametags will not force a respawn. You will need to find a new wolf if it dies, or someone steals it.
In order for it to stay with you, you need to feed it zombie flesh until it gets a collar around its next (You can actually see a collar as a colored band around the neck). Doing this will cause it to follow you anywhere you go. It will attempt to defend you against monsters, and it has a limited ability to teleport to stay next to you. (don't rely on this)

I thought there were three warps per player, but if there's an overall limit of 10 then please do let us know and I will delete at least one of mine!
 
I think I have lost Kisu, my tamed wolf, whilst warping around... I miss him!
