The problem is that no matter how much money games publishers make, it's never enough. Plus we have one of those rare industries/hobbies where a sizeable section of the consumer base are more than happy to go to bat for these companies. Then again in IRL we have the water companies who don't maintain or improve infrastructure, rather siphon off our money to shareholders while telling us we need to pay more if we want to avoid hosepipe bans after one of the wettest winters on record...and we happily take it up the arse...so what do I know 🤣

Progress has been slow but the king of military sims have been working with the community and the new Arma Reforger is starting to look pretty good 🙂

New Vegas is amazing, but FO3 is still my favourite. I've completed them both on Xbox 360 first and then PC. FO4 I've played on PS4 and on PC I've done 140 hours and still not finished. I dont want to finish it, I love jumping back in and all the dlc, particularly Far Harbour, has really kept me going 🙂 PS5 version of FO4 is out this month for free if you own the PS4 version...and I believe a remaster of FO3 is in the works too 🥳 If you wanna jump on FO76 let me know and I'll reinstall. My standout memory is from Fallout 3. Don't know how, but I managed to exit the vault for the first time at night. Creepiest, darkest and most memorable introduction to the capital wasteland 🤪

I've managed to watch 6 episodes so far, I decided to pace myself after my initial splurge...although I'll probably watch the last couple back to back. All I'll say is that it's a shame we'll probably have to wait a year for any more, so I'll likely have to reinstall a game now to get my fix 🙂

Considered making a new thread for this but makes sense to update this one. Gameplay video with very little gameplay is very contemporary marketing 🙃

I've managed to watch 4 episodes. I wanted to watch a few before passing judgment. I didn't know what to expect but it's excellent. I was worried to begin with that it might be a bit tame and I might find the characters annoying but no, it's gory, brutal, funny and I think they cast it very well, so yeah overall very happy so far.

It'd getting great reviews so I'll be on it after work 😄

I agree, these things tend to set precedents and probably a glimpse of things to come in the gaming industry. Pirating or waiting for sales is how I'll be going if that's the case 🥳
