Looking at the chat, that Heli landed at the airdrop. Then the guy got shot from a distance. That means while we were getting the metal we were totally exposed. We'll need to be more cautious.

We've been playing around 3 PM EST. I think you're Eastern time as well, right? I also get online around 830 or 9PM. I don't mind helping you learn the ropes. Welcome to the cool kids club.

Good stuff fellas. Awww, we're full fledged survivors now 🙂 haha! I agree 100%, @phil bottle. The helicopter flying overhead was a pretty awesome moment. Later on after you logged out, they flew pretty close to our base as well. It was a real eye opener. First time I felt scared for our lives. Nice job, @GazzaGarratt on getting our new base established. I hope to be on today and a lot from Thursday evening - Sunday. I'll help get our stuff transported. This is the most fun I've had in a game in a long time! I always look forward to coming home from work and hoping in with you all.

It's been a pleasant surprise and change to play this. Certainly helps playing with you guys - i really didn't expect to have this much fun. It seems to have 'clicked' so much of late and we are cooking on gas now to at some point be ready to create/defend/attack bases when the time is needed. Btw, grabbed some time recently only to find Wolves literally on our doorstep. Now this maybe one con to being so remote as a base, however it will now mean you won't go hungry ever again me thinks.... So if someone can get on, get some stuff to the new base and get cooking! Maybe some full canteens of water wouldn't go a miss? 😎 As you can see there's also 2 shiny new Bayonet knives (you can cut your hair with them too) and more importantly 4 extra Wolfcamo skins. They work in the camo slot on your character and are meant to keep you guys super warm in the process. Also, here's a pic of the two tents so far. Should be good to develop the area a bit more.

DayZ has actually been pretty amazing the past couple of weeks, with Lee and Tommy overcoming their noobness and turning into fully fledged survivors[emoji847] Didds and Crispy have been on at varying times, Rich is on a promise and I hear we may have one more recruit inbound...[emoji846] We've been relatively cocooned what with the server only having small numbers but it was a telling moment yesterday when we encountered the helicopter while leaving NW airfield. The first time since we've been doing this that I've felt the DayZ fear. And I fucking loved it. It was only a temporary shudder but it was DayZ as intended. We need to start being a bit more paranoid when the server is more busy. Weekends I have seen 20 plus ppl on in the past during the day, so we'll see! With a new hidey place we can crack on with the next tier of challenges, cars, base building and helicopters. Might have stayed on a lot longer than anticipated 😬 I've found a new base for us though so worth it to save your legs. I found the best spot for us I thought...only to find that someone had a tent there already! So I nicked it 😎 Moved quite far away from that section so we have 1 black car tent next to 1 circus canopy in the middle of nowhere. Well, actually I think we've lucked out cos tons of deer seem to be around the area. Take a look when you can. I also found a mustang needing just 2 tires, battery, radiator and spark plug. Spark plug and tires are what we really need as ive never seen them!! I'll write more tomorrow...I'm shattered now after all that running 😴

Its been talked about for a while and I couldn't find a previous thread, which was weird so created a new one. Beta information out, related to pre-order but also an open beta will be available in August which is good to see. Playstation gets it a week earlier so a bonus to most people here too. Be interesting to see how it all pans out and maybe be an actual decent game even though I think most people are concerned if it can match its price tag. Avenger's Gameplay Reveal Event one month ago showing off some game modes and Avenger's gameplay action: Now I know there's an open beta it has to be worth a go on for that - its one deep inside me i'd love it to do well but I can't see me paying £50 to pre-order it unless the beta blows me away. Whats everyone feeling so far?

I always have to watch a film series so I'm going through the marvel MCU set and I'm 17 movies in with 5 to go ending with avengers end game. There is 1 film after end game but as there no connection to end game really might not watch it. My next set is my zombie film collection. I'm help run a movie group on Facebook which I've told them I will do recorded reviews and I'm thinking about uploading them to YouTube which I'm not sure yet what's your opinion on that. My zombie film collection so far. I think there's just over 100.
