  2. What Would You Do FG? The delay to all football in the UK is a significant delay to the country's beloved sport and is clear to impact the full season and potentially subsequent seasons, not to mention the Euros. Don't get me wrong, there's tons of jokes flying around about Liverpool won't now get their chance for the Premiership title as many seem to think you can only void the season now due to impacts of future plans and next season start dates. As much as they've me chuckle too to the thought of Liverpool fans raging at this, i'm not sure its as easy as just voiding the entire league. Football is now a business first, football second kind of thing, whether we like it or not. The revenue from these games that are being delayed would give much needed revenue to the clubs, not to mention the consequence of being promoted or their position in the league dictating large payouts, for clubs and the players involved. My initial thought is try and find a solution that gives as many positives as possible and remove the negatives, so: Give teams their positions from now, champions are champions, european spots are secured, promote teams in their relevant positions - playoffs could be still played at a later date on a one leg basis so max 3 games per league to take place. I'd then not relegate teams in current positions. Which means we expand the Premier League to 23 teams (it was 24 way back in the day), and other teams shift up a league to fill the gaps left by teams below. Whichever way this goes, what is considered the 'fair' outcome is not going to make everyone in the world happy. I think you have to go with the majority of positives, remove the negatives and move on to the next season. But hey, thats me. WWYD...FG?

  6. Have discussed this and im not a football fan but the majority of the season has been completed so voiding it imo is a non starter, if the euros can't go ahead then extend the season, however if these games can't be played behind closed doors, and I've no idea as to why then call the season complete and promote or relegate as they stand. Other sports have plans in place that after x amount of time, laps or rounds a result stands.

  7. It's an horrendous situation from every possible standpoint but one option that shouldn't be considered is to cancel the season entirely. A lot of teams have worked very hard to get to where they are in the league and if every remaining game has to be played behind closed doors through the summer then so be it. It will cost teams dear in terms of revenue but at least the season will be completed. Even if you cut out the playoffs and just make the top 3 for the Championship and League One and then 4 for League two go up then that would soften the headache. The FA Cup should probably be cancelled. Champions League and Europa League probably wont be able to resume due to the travel risks so that would be a massive blow to all involved. The Euros will have to be delayed until next year or even scrapped altogether. League One teams will miss out on between Ā£300,000 to Ā£6m it's estimated for the rest of the year and it could be fatal for many teams no matter what division you are in or how big your club is. I even fear for next season.

  12. Tried it for the first time last night - in Plunder mode rather than the normal Warzone option. The way that it mixes the basics of MP into a huge map and searching for cash was really fun and although I did quite a bit initially, the fact you can respawn in and keep going is a massive incentive for this mode. I LOVE the contracts you can pick up. I feel like i'm playing an open world PvP game with side missions as I go around searching for loot and players to shoot. Not sure if the normal mode will give me the same replayability like this one due to the respawns but i'm willing to give it a go now after having a fun positive night on it. We extracted nearly 200k once with @Stretch616 , although not sure if Deadums (@Diddums) next Saturday night drinking episode would've helped him think positive of this.

  13. After struggling to even get this update actually installed (think it ended up taking about 6 attempts) I finally got it sorted. im not a big battle royale person despite liking the concept, and I really disliked playing the BO4 version solo but this Iā€™m really enjoying. 2nd game in playing solo winner winner chicken dinner!! šŸ˜„ slapped two 3 man teams to secure the win

Karen Brady has triggered the whole of Liverpool Premier League season should be declared null and void if it's not finished, says West Ham's Karren Brady | Football News | Sky Sports WWW.SKYSPORTS.COM West Ham vice-chairman Karren Brady believes this season's Premier League should be declared

  15. Looks like that's it for a month or so for football, they're even saying that Liverpool may not get to win the title as they won't be able to play some of the games. Everything will basically reset, no one will come up or down but City will still get kicked outa the Champions League. This is all sounding very positive to me šŸ˜„
