Hi Joyfreak, welcome to the forum. I have taken the liberty of removing your signature, bio, profile pic, banner and any other links you somehow managed to hide behind this bullshit facade. Should you however wish to upgrade to the advertising package please send an email to iamafreeloadingtwat@forevergamimg.co.uk Thanks

Hi Danny, welcome to the forum. I've edited your post to add a bit more clarity. Good luck with the channel.

  4. Perhaps a different meaning on your side, but it's well established in the states that left/right also applies to social issues and perceived norms. "The Religious Right" or "Christian Right" being one of the most used versions of the term in US politics. It describes the, largely Evangelical, socially conservative platform. If there's a right, there's a left and a center. It's nothing to do with economics or profit motive. That would be capitalist, socialist, etc. (Although, frankly, "socialist" is another word that's been stretched beyond any real meaning in US political theater...boiling down to most anything Republicans don't like at the moment.) So for something like gay marriage, the "Right" argument was against and being lead by the Christian Right, by default the argument for becomes the left argument. One can argue it's "tribalism" or "marketing" or what-have you, but it's certainly not a new concept stateside and has been a theme in politics and social issues as long as I've been around to notice such things.

    JackBoxParty

With the game being given away for free on Epic Store not long ago, I nabbed my copy of the game (and I assume many more of you did also). How well do you think a game of JackBoxParty would go down? We don't all need to own the game, someone with a copy would just need to stream the game via something like Twitch, or a more private streaming method in which only we have access? The only thing that would be required is either a mobile phone or web browser. The game is played through a website. Discord could be there for those who also wish to talk while playing. The games available on the version I have (The Jackbox Party Pack) are: 1) The comedy trivia sensation YOU DON’T NOW JACK 2015 (1-4 players) with hundreds of all-new questions. 2) The hilarious bluffing game Fibbage XL (2-8 players), with 50% more questions added to the original hit game Fibbage. 3) The bizarre drawing game Drawful (3-8 players) -you draw right there on your phone or tablet (very little/no real skill required). 4) The racy-as-you-want-to-be fill-in-the-blank word game Word Spud (2-8 players). 5) The wacky-fact-filled Lie Swatter (1-100 players). Obviously if someone owns any of the other editions, it gives more games to play. I can imagine the only issue would be the delayed stream but I think that wouldn't be huge.

  8. You can get excellent monitors at 1080p and 144 refresh rate around the £150-£200 range at 24 inches. E.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-VG248QE-Widescreen-Multimedia-80000000/dp/B00B19T7QC/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1550413532&sr=8-1&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_FMwebp_QL65&keywords=asus+vg248qe&dpPl=1&dpID=51xWAdXoM1L&ref=plSrch Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  9. It's changed its meaning a few times over the centuries to be fair and I suppose it annoys me because it gets in the way of us dealing with some very serious issues, and stops ppl looking at things honestly. The use of 'fascist' and 'nazi' is also easily thrown around, often by people who should know better...pointless and solves nothing. And yes, I agree, part tribalism, part deliberate political marketing. Sent from my SM-G955F using Tapatalk

  10. My son and I watched the Lego Movie 2, The Second Part. If you liked the first one, you'll like this one. It's at least as well done. It's still a family dynamic movie wrapped up in goofy plastic brick filled extravaganza, but with a bit less singing then the first.

  11. That's a shame, however to add a small gamemode of sorts to a single player game for free balances but out to be at least a good thing that Capcom have created here.

  12. Deffo go for a g-sync monitor. It adds a bit of cost, but locks the frame rate to your GPU so you don't get screen tearing. I'll have a dig about. Via the FG App

  13. It's a disappointing sadly - basically a linear experience with a generic character (nicely rendered arse though) where you try and survive walking through a map to the end. If you die, it's game over. It's great that it's free but honestly, it's fairly low quality that if I paid, I'd be very disappointed. It is a tough experience though and there's things to unlock but in the ten minutes it takes, it's pretty bland.
